Me & my husband had a fantastic time away in the Byre cottage! So cozy, and the decor is absolutely gorgeous. The bed is super comfortable and the bath was so very relaxing for my very pregnant self (37 weeks). We will be coming back! Amazing place to just relax and unwind! 🧡

My wife and I had our honeymoon night here back in May, 2021. I have stayed at the retreat over 11 times, with the original owners and with Melanie and Roger and I have never once been disappointed. Many times as a child and I still have the most fond memories. It only felt right to spend the first 2 nights of our new chapter here. We had the most wonderful night. We showed up late that night with the fireplace lit and the cottage warm, fresh bread on the counter with spreads and other condiments. As we wound down for the night, we were able to enjoy a warm bath in the newly renovated bathroom of the cottage and then enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast with the provided bacon, fresh eggs and juice the following morning. Also worth a mention was the beautiful forest spread we had the next day! It was absolutely next level. We had such a great time. It was rustic, romantic and peaceful. Bec and Gem x.
