Really nice spot… It's nice and quiet. I got a brilliant cabin with a clear view of the water, it was really lovely… cabin was clean, well presented, and either either new or recently renovated… Only problem I had was that the shower didn't just leak, the bathroom was flooded after a shower, not sure if that was my own fault though, it may have been… On site management was wonderful, friendly and helpful… The caravan park is a little out of town (you won't be walking back with a hot meal, but it's not far away just the same) however, it's easy to find and easy to access… I don't know that I'd stay 2 weeks, but for my stop between Sydney and Brisbane it was fantastic… also, they're dog friendly :-)

Love the location! Lovely welcome on arrival. Non Peak Season so we were given two sites for price of one. Right by the river. Fire pits available for hire, fishing right at your doorstep (literally) Only downside is the amenities. They need a big overhaul as they are old and small so felt unclean…

Great relaxing environment with nice views! The two bedroom bungalow up on stilts was perfect for the family — clean, new and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating with our late night arrival.

Great campsite. Big spaces, green grass, beautiful view to the water. Actually saw a few pelicans in the morning. Very peaceful and friendly campground. Welcoming caretaker. Clean bathroom.

Tom is great! Lovely guy. Really good customer service. We camped at a powered site on the river front which was superb to wake up to. Our boat right in front of us. Absolutely loved being able to wake up and jump on the boat so easily! The sunrises were amazing with fish jumping and all of the wildlife. The tyres lining the wall were great in stopping it getting smashed up but left really terrible marks, something to be mindful of. The on site boat ramp is great — lots of space to move but no jetty. Water can get very low so keep your eye on the tides because once you’re in and the tide goes down you’re stuck. The pitch itself was good, the water was right over the electric box which was a little concerning. Having permanent residents in cabins right behind us really changed the atmosphere of the site and sometimes not in a particularly positive way. The facilities were always clean, showers hot with good water pressure in both blocks. Kayak hire available at just $20 too. All in all a lovely base to explore the Nambucca area.

Stayed on Sunday at Pelican Park with my cat, spotless unit, nice hosts, beautiful outlook from my cabin. The best shower rose ever with strong adjustable jets of hot relaxing water. Bed more than comfortable, coffee supplied is good quality. Some traffic noise but not the parks fault. Would stay again without hesitation.

My partner and I with our two small dogs stayed in the pet friendly cabin over looking the lake, it was so clean and well presented with all we required. I was so impressed with Tom in the office to assist us with our dilemma of urgent accommodation required after an airbnb booking was so unsatisfactory to stay at. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Pelican caravan park. Thanks again Tom and staff, had a great weekend.

Kitchen has BBQ furnace, but no faucet can clean items, the park toilet are locked, but two people stay only to a key, very inconvenient! The environment is not very clean, cockroaches everywhere! Located next to the highway, but the lorry roared over the ears until the night constantly!
