Andrew Sharp, the owner and his staff were very friendly, we were given a tour of the theatre which has movies for $10 and live shows as well. The Devonshire tea was delicious. Highly recommend.

Mum and I stayed 4 nights. Andrew jane Elizabeth shelly mia (sorry if forgot anyone) all very friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast every morning which was superb and in beautiful cosy surroundings complete with a Christmas in july decorations. Will be back again, thanx to all once again.

Just home from a 'Christmas in July' evening at The Playhouse. Food was amazing, great evening with great people. Already booked again for next year.

My partner and I where told about the Play House by friends a while ago and told us of how unique it is. We are so glad they did. Andrew our host and his staff could not have done more for us. The food was second to none and our room was spotless and modern. We will be passing on our experience to our friends so they to can experience this country gem too.

Most gorgeous, unique, hidden gem in the country. Fantastic friendly and helful host who doubled as the best chef — salmon was superb. Rooms a beautiful with the most comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. Cant wait to return.

Cannot recommend The Playhouse highly enough. I had to stay for work purposes and Andrew could not have been anymore accommodating, polite & hospitable. Don’t even get me started on the food, it was sensational! I will definitely be returning.

Lovely clean rooms Andrew made us feel very welcome. Great food we had dinner and breakfast lovely hot shower fluffy towels and comfortable beds. Very quiet great night sleep. Recomend you try it for yourself if your passing thru. Concerts and movie nights. Give Andrew a call he is a lovely man.

What a wonderful venue and a sensational musician Hester is a beautiful moving concert. Andrew the host and the food was fabulous. We all had a fun memorable night. Highly recomend the playouse hotel.

What a wonderful weekend we had at The Playhouse. Our group were thoroughly looked after by Andrew and all the staff… nothing was a problem! The food was fabulous, the comfortable, cosy front room was rearranged to accomodate our needs for our Embroidery Retreat and we had the best time!

Absolutely loved my stay at the Playhouse. I was at the hotel for the better part of three weeks for work in the area. The ladies here really made it seem like a home away from home. The Rooms I stayed in were beautifully renovated and very clean and comfortable. What really makes the playhouse stand out though is the delicious food that Shelley creates in the kitchen, I never had a bad meal or dessert. So once again thanks to everybody at the playhouse hopefully see you all again next year.
