Great caravan park, few things a for the kids to do jumping pad, small park and pool. Camping spots fairly close to amenities and staff are wonderful. Have stayed her a few times the past 12 months.

Definitely recommended. Great accomodation with lots of things for kids to do such as jump pad, mini park and pool. We will be back for sure!

Highly recommend this place. Beautiful clean cabins. Friendly staff. Well priced. We really enjoyed our little home away from home for the 3nights we spent here. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Location, drive through sites available for overnight stays, lovely lakeside sites, excellent amenities. Would like to return in better weather.

Stayed here last minute on our way through heading home from holidays, (we camped) lovely little spot hidden out of the way, lovely size swimming pool, inflatable jumping mat, bike track along the lake, awesome camp kitchen with everything including a tv. The highlight was the ducks, and possums!

Nice park, clean facilities. I stayed one night only on my way north in my Jayco 22ft caravan. Only one gripe, really — the signage is extremely poor, verging on non-existent. There’s signs saying where toilets, where the laundry is, etc but nothing about what site numbers are down this or that unnamed road. Took me quite a while to find my site even with a map after taking a wrong turn. Please put in signage saying “Sites 1-8” with an arrow, for example, and some street signs. Be near impossible to find your spot after dark.

They are friendly and clean can't wait to go camping there again.

Website states pet friendly. When booking I didn’t realise room I had selected was not one. Called day before to confirm my booking and stated about my dog. Told room wasn’t dog friendly. They nicely allowed which was great but at a cost of $200 as they state the room will need to be steam cleaned. Because I had not made plans for my dog as he’s is very old and struggles to walk I stated I would pay. On check-in I paid $200 cash for dog as agreed and paid for extra people who asked to come last min. 6 person room, but booked for 3 🙄Mid week they came around and stated they would come and tidy room and change bedding and towels. Thought this was nice as It’s not something expected. Room had so many issues. Bed was on wheels in a room with tiles. Toilet ran constantly. Half the jets didn’t work in spa bath (which was dirty). Couldn’t watch TV due to poor signal and it dropping out. Couldn’t use shower one day because water was running brown. Stated they would call me back about it and never did. After checking out the park charged my card $250. $200 for the dog again and $50 for the mid week clean we didn’t ask for. When I called the lady argued with me stating she told me about the charges. Firstly I paid cash. And secondly it was NEVER mentioned about a mid week clean. $200 was agreed upon. She stated that by law they had to come in and clean. Okay fine but the agreed cost was $200. All she wanted to do was argue.

Great park … Shame it’s been so wet. Nice drives around. Right on the lake. Great staff.

It is a beautiful spot to bethe lake area is lovely, cabin are very clean, nice walk round the lake area would come here again.

All cabins were clean & comfortable, & staff very helpful. Wonderful place to stay!

Great place and people, great views and pet friendly.

The park is very well kept and clean. The facilities are A1 and looked after very well. The staff at thr office and the maintenance man are awesome to deal with and nothing is a bother. You are right on the water so you can fish or swim at the lake whenever you want it. Will definitely coming back again and again.

This place is amazing and good for all. We Stayed twice in the one week 2 different villa’s both spotlessly clean. We have 2 little girls and they loved it! The ducks the water & the atmosphere. Very affordable great staff very accommodating. Would definitely go again and would recommend to all. Thanks so much for the experience guys.

Very nice villas. Well set up & comfortable.

We paid the extra for a waterfront powered site. And oh wow! Perfect spot. Swans, extremely friendly ducks and pelicans. All enjoying the lake as much as us. We’ll be back.

I haven't actually experience the past myself personally but I sail for the sailing club next door and it's quality is second to none!

Beautiful peaceful location on the edge of the lake. Enjoyed amazing views of each sunrise from our verandah/porch (& even the lounge). We stayed in a roomy waterfront villa. Definitely appreciated the dishwasher, bathtub & separate toilet in this type of cabin since we have 3 children. The children themselves loved the jumping pillow, playground & walks on the jetty as well as footpath beside the lake. A few little shops (cafe, bakery, post office, iga/fuel station, chemist etc) are just a short walk away.

Good clean park on the lake. Only problem I found was the location of the amenities they are to far away from a lot of the caravan sites and only 7 showers for men and seven showers for the ladies. Toilets rather scarce compared to other caravan parks.

Disappointing. Quite out of the way and a drive to get places. Very small sites! Only one amenities block at opposite side of the park, very hard with children. Showers were luke warm and the dirty water from the person showering next to you washes down into every cubical… disgusting! View of the waterfront is lovely.

We had a cabin and it was clean and nice. Not really kids friendly although they have jumping pillow but that's about it. It was a good, relaxed weekend. The other major issue is there are not many options around for shops and cafe. It's also 50 minutes drive to Hunter valley so worth driving there too.

Read through!. First the good stuff. Great lakeside location. Nice views from shoreline sites. Friendly and helpful staff, and generally everything is neat and well kept. The biggest problem was the ill thought out location of amenities. They are located in the opposite top corner corner of the park (near residents) rather than where most people who needs them are located or more central in the park. As a result the single and small toilets meant for the pool area get hammered, and are very often occupied resulting in queues in busy times, and less than clean amenities. A lesser issue was that a number of campsites have large areas of dirt that pool with water after showers or rain. The people next to us had to relocate their tent when water started entering. Overall a really nice place to stay. Pity about the amenities.

Wonderful 2 storey cabin near the lakes edge. Loved the cabin, loved the holiday park as a whole. There was many other nice looking cabins and good camping sites too along with a fab pool. Loved the wildlife all around too. Only downfalls, bad lounges in cabin living room need updating, pretty uncomfortable and give us some small cutting knives. Highly recommend Ingenia Holidays Lake Macquarie but you must love birds.

Went to Ingenia for Easter break and had a great experience the camp is super clean has all the amenities nice outdoor kitchen and a beautiful lake views. The staff went above and beyond a great customer services and posted a forgotten item we forgot in the bathrooms.

Decent prices, very clean, I was suprised how well equipped our cabin was-full stove/oven/large fridge/DISHWASHER/microwave/toaster /jug… the park has a real family feel to it, And 'YES kids, it DOES have a jumping pillow AND a pool'

Not good at all a friend of mine got bottled there by someone who lives out of the park not a good experience at all the showers were dirty and struggled to keep up the hot water would rather stay home then go to this place absolutely crap.

Quiet, on the lake, good amenities, kids friendly. Lots of birds, duckies and rabbits! Even possums come around at night.

Great little caravan park. Boat ramp is a plus.

Camping holiday with 2 adults, 4 kids… Great location, friendly service, facilities are ok. 1 pool which can get cramped but the Lake is right there for a more peaceful swim. Nice grass sites with actual grass on them. I asked for a large site but didn't get one but the line markings aren't treated as gospel. We are enjoying our stay and would recommend this place…

Nice place to stay. There are ducklings and rabbits that visit you daily which is always really nice.

Clean amenities, nice pool, good camp kitchen and facilities for kids. Campsites are cosy, but flat and most a decent size. Only concern is lack of security at waterfront, with local kids wandering around after dark. The park security do their best but it's a challenge for them.

The best place to be. This is our home away from home. 5star in my eyes. Office girls are friendly and are always helpful getting us great deals on accommodation. Highly recommended…

I'm putting one star, only because 0 is not an option. Most of the information in photos during the booking was incorrect (THEY DID NOT DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISED US). -The sofa was so dirty (we just covered to sit on it). -The ground not clean -We booked Poolside Villa with Spa at a high price but were surprised that the swimming pool was closed and there was no note about that during the booking. — The Spa bath not like what we have seen in the pictures is just small. Overall, everything need to update. (don't cheat customers).

Nice place for kids, pool and jumping pillow. Staff were fine. Some of these reviewers are clearly toffs. Have to laugh at the sooks who complain about the birds and ducks lol.

Friendly and helpful staff. My ute was busted and they were great while I took time to have a long holiday riding my pushbike around the lake. Beautiful views.

Our stay wasn't bad but we will never go back again. It was false advertising about a double storey place and in reality we got a very small cabin. The lady at the reception was rather cold and too direct to be working at reception. We stopped at the gate, she came out, starred and went straight back in. We have two kids and the bed wasn't made in the bunk beds area. People who lives there permanently looks like on drugs and unfriendly. Lastly, this is situated in Mannering Park, far from Lake Macquarie. Please do not use false advertising : (

I wouldn't go back and stay The place needs to be updated It's infested with birds and ducks everywear No sighns anywear explaining wear things are No street lights was very dark place at night My father was asked to bring vaccination certificates for his two small dogs so they could stay wich was fine until we got to the site and thought why was that even nesessary when the place is infested with ducks that hang out side your doors and birds hundreds of birds squeaking at night leaving a dirty mess Place felt very damp and wet. Lady at the desk made me feel as tho she was talking down at me and that turned me of at check in.

Great Friendly Staff, Would Definitely Visit again!

Away from the maddening crowd, a quiet, peaceful park with beautiful views across the lake.

The park seems good and I'll give it two stars just for being a nice looking park. Kiddie playground, pool, fully set up campers kitchen. Infested with ducks. Cockatoos squaking all the night. Was kept awake most of the night form the combination of birds, pool noises, what I think was the power plant not far from it and the nearby park lamp. Tent areas are heavily worn out. Won't stay there again. The morning wakeup-call form a mob of ducks all nibbling the edges of the tent was both infuriating and a little adorable.

Stayed for the weekend, awesome place. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean amenities. Absolutely beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Residents very friendly☺ Can't wait to go back☝☝
