Great little getaway spot, great location, facilities and staff.

We just spent weekend here and enjoyed the peaceful environment, feeling relaxed, friendly service…
Feels like home, everything we needed for cooking were available…

Stayed here on the weekend and it was amazing! Not only was the room excellent, but the whole site itself was beautiful. We did the sanctuary tour and the glow worm tour, which were both great and filled with unexpected surprises, and also hired out the day bed for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. I recommend anyone that stays do the tours because not only are they worth it, but they also fund their Wallaby conservation efforts, so it's going to a good cause!

What a fantastic, tranquil and idyllic place. Our host Alanna was just lovely & our room was superb.
We really enjoyed bushwalking, cycling in the area and being amongst the animals. Already missing little “Stormy” the joey.

We had the most relaxing long weekend at Waterfall Springs. It’s such a special place run by Steve and Allana and we were made to feel so welcome. Definitely a great place for some quiet, offline time surrounded by the great outdoors and lots of new furry friends to meet. The property offers great walking trails and the opportunity to be introduced residents of the wildlife sanctuary — who knew there were so many species of wallaby?! We learned a lot from Allana on the sanctuary walk and got to enter one of the enclosures. The accomodation was super comfortable and very private. We highly recommend the ‘BBQ cooked for you’ option (Steve’s secret talent) but they’re more than happy to provide you with supplies for you to whip up your own meals. Can’t recommend this place enough and we have plans to visit again soon!

Had an absolute amazing weekend at waterfall springs. The rooms are magical and the environment is so relaxing. ATV glow worm tour is a must. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

This has to be one of the most amazing places in NSW if not the world. The staff are beyond helpful and love to respect the privacy of guests and the natural environment on which this is built on. If you like wildlife but are scared to experience it out of the comforts of a safe resort, this was the best experience. So many different types of birds, wallabies and kangaroos are roaming around the property. There was the most amazing bush walking tracks around and the 4x4 golf carts are a no brainer for anyone who loves to get around in any type of terrain. The rooms were so well equipped and super romantic. The tub and water were perfect as were the kitchen areas and amazing BBQ pits outside. I can't wait to go back here and enjoy another amazing time. Don't forget to book an ATV tour, you will not regret that!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Waterfall Springs Retreat Checked in outside of hours and was still greeted by the owner. Staff are very hospitable and friendly and the highlight of our stay was definitely the 5 star superior king spa suit whilst getting up close and personal with the Brush-tailed Rock Wallabies and Brush-tailed Bettong on their property. Thank you for an amazing stay, breakfast choices were great, with a kitchen fully equipped to cook.

Wonderful romantic getaway experience.

Fantastic romantic getaway only a relatively short (and beautiful) drive from Sydney. Relaxed and modern atmosphere. Highly recommend! A chance to relax and also spend time with some amazing animals. We loved it and look forward to going back.

Terrific Facilities and Hosts. Great BBQ Area. Lots of Kangaroos some of which I had not seen before. We recommend the King Bath Suite it was very romantic and large. The fitout is modern and new and the room and whole house is sparkling clean and smells fresh throughout. Many thoughtful touches. Glow Worm Glen is good value — lots of frogs too! Close to Gosford and Woy Woy. Easy reach of Sydney. Highly Recommend to all.

Great place and great host!

We loved our time at Waterfall Springs. The house and facilities were excellent and owners Alana and Steve really thoughtful. Our overseas guest loved patting and feeding the kangaroos and wallabies — and so did we! The glow worms were magical. It was about a 40 minute drive to Hunter Valley vineyards. Highly recommend.

Built within a wildlife sanctuary had an amazing time, really relaxed and welcoming environment. Bottlefed baby wallabies, room was immaculate and hosted by a warm and friendly couple can't say enough good things about this place.

It is an absolutely incredible place to visit for a nice romantic, quiet get away. Beautiful views, lovely and friendly animals, excellent service and such a beautiful place to go for some loving and pure nature. They even have a nice package for lovely couples. Handmade little goodie basket with candles and other romantic stuff.

For locals this is an easy 1.5hr drive from Sydney. Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend getaway, adventurous bush walks or crazy ATV rides, lazy quiet time to read your pile of books, hang & feed the endangered wallabies in the sanctuary, see some spectacular fireflies & glow worms (if you are lucky), a getaway with some friends where you can cook together or enjoy an Aussie BBQ with Steve & Alanna your hosts! Great selection of wines in Steve's wine cellar too! Alanna will also help pull together a sensational healthy breakfast to help you kick start your day (bacon & pancakes optional). Gorgeous spacious bright rooms with bathtubs fit for 2! Comfortable beds, great fire place in every room to use on those chilly country nights. Great place for a quiet weekend away. If you feel the need for a bit of austaliana but prefer a luxury experience rather than bush bashing. The cute rock wallaby feeding is a highlight.
