A clean and comfortable motel. The reception was warm and welcoming. There was good parking available even with a full house. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is wonderful because it is a short walk to the village centre and shoreline. Restaurants and cafes line the street around the corner. The hardest part of finding a place to eat is the choice. There's also a Thai restaurant on site. I didn't try it but the locals recommended it. Even the beach isn't too far away. It's beautiful with fine white sand. Apparently it is a good surfing place according to a surfer I met. The bed and ensuite were super clean with the usual toiletries. I stayed four nights; the bed was remade and ensuite freshened each morning. There's also a small garden that was nice for few minutes breather. The roses were in bloom during my stay. I really enjoyed Shellharbour Motel and was quite comfortable. Foxtel and Wi-Fi are included.

Pretty good but there are no smoking rooms at all you have to go outside the building to smoke. Very good service and nice people, nice and cimfortable rooms.

The spa room is very good & in immaculate condition, it’s spacious & comfortable. The corner spa bath is great, the air con is cool & the free Wi-Fi is spot on. It’s like a double room with lounge/dining area & bedroom that both have a TV with Foxtel. It’s only a short stroll to Shellharbours’ fine shops, pub & beach’s. The Thai restaurant on site is brilliant & they deliver to your room. There’s no pool but the ocean pool is about an 8 minute walk away so it’s not a big deal. This quality hotel is decent value, has tidy well kept grounds & also has easy check-in with friendly staff.

Friendly staff, room was decent, had a good shower head at a good height albeit still in a bath/curtain. Wi-Fi was fast.

Hotel is pretty good in terms of spacious room and clean bathroom. The location is close to the harbour as well as both the north and south beach. The thai restaurant on the property has got tasty food.

It is a moderately priced motel in an awesome location with very good rooms. The owners are a friendly couple. The place is a 20 minutes walk to either beach in Shellharbour. The Thai restaurant on the property is awesome. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The spring mattress was not so good.

This is an average price. The price was costly for what it is. There is no Microwave which was a downside. Its a two story old building which is very evident if you inside. It's proximity to beaches are the only plus, however the beaches nearby are not something you would like to swim in. It's all rocky beaches. For what it is I believe ita a bit costly.

I travel alot for work so finding a motel like this one to stay was amazing. It has nudged my previous number 1 down a spot. I cant wait for my next visit. Best nights sleep in ages. If all places were like this then no one would need to rate. 100%

The Motel is conveniently located. Rooms are spacious and clean. Motel manager had been ready to help and immediately brought us one extra blanket when she learned that Grandma felt cold. Fast speed free Wi-Fi is a bonus. I'd recommend to friends this Motel when they travel to this area.

The rooms were clean, the shower was great The room was a bit small for 3 people, we had a family room which was really only big enough for a double. No good if you like to sleep in, they start cleaning very early. No microwave facilities as no cooking allowed in rooms. Non smoking motel Designated smoking area is a bench seat out in the side lane in the open. Minimal toiletries and tea & coffee facilities Nice area, many eateries just around the corner. Manager is not very friendly to guests.

Good clean comfortable motel with awesome shower pressure. Stayed for 6 days, would have happily stayed longer, and the Thai restaurant is awesome.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The female manager was obviously having a bad day and taking it out on her clients. Not family friendly and will never go there again. Shellharbour is magnificent will definitely go there again.

Arrived half hour earlier than receiption exspected us. (12:30 instead 13:00) The lady, we asked to the receiption by ringing the doorbell (Owner) felt disturbed (had no lunch yet? ). A very unfriendly and aggresive receiving. But rooms were ready! Could have friendly telling us that we shall just wait to 13:00. Later she malicously screamed and accused us suspisiously, that if anything will be damaged we have to replace. Sure we would, but nothing happend at all. If we would have booked for more than just one night we would have gone immediately. Besides this, all nice and very clean. Just shift the personal at the receiption, please. People in town are very kind and friendly so we made very good experiences. C. I. Germany.

Nice little motel, good location. Manager is extremely rude and aggressive, diagusting language in front of young children. Not children friendly.

Superb place to stay. Right in town and really friendly operators. For the price of the room how anybody could conplain is beyond me. Would stay again.

Jan 2012. Great place, kids loved it, nice look and feel to place, staff friendly, rooms plush. I have eaten a lot of Thia food in my time and thier Thai restaurant would have to be in my top ten. Motel price was a bit more than I would normally pay — but you get what you pay for, unlike some motels. Coal seam gas would be the only deterrent for not coming back to this area, but if Im in the area Ill be staying here (if only for a Thai fix)

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Beautiful clean room. We were next to some sort of Service Room which was a bit noisy. Other guests decided to spend the late hours of the night talking out on the verandah — bit annoying. That aside, an excellent place to stay.
