Partner and I had an amazing weekend away. We were met in the driveway by the very personable owners… cottages are well thought out and the spa just put the icing on the cake they are very peaceful and yet still so close to the wineries we will be recommending this peace of paradise to everyone we know

Officially my favourite place to stay in the Hunter valley. Cabins are surrounded by beautiful views of the forest and wild life. Nothing more relaxing than having a drink or two in your private hot tub.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the bush land surrounding it was spectacular. Perfect weekend escape! Thank you John & Andy.

The cottage we stayed in was nice and secluded. The cottage was clean and well laid out with everything we needed. The owners John and Andy were so accomodating and helpful with organising wine tours and activities to do in the Hunter. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

The place to stay when you go to the Hunter a do not want to be disturbed by others.

A fantastic place to get away from it all. Easy bus to Bimbadgen Estate (just book ahead). The outdoor spa under the trees is great (a few hooks for towels would be the only improvement I could suggest!, tough I know! ). BBQ on the deck, coffee machine and a breakfast hamper. Great for a couple or a group. Don't expect the most modern hotel room, instead take a book and relax in the hammock. Very unique.

Very friendly welcome from John, and a very welcome stay. No Wi-Fi. No phone signal. No stress. Sat in the hot tub, with a bottle of sparkling and all your worries fade away.

Thank you very much to our hosts. Knowing we would be arriving late on Friday night we spoke to John and he assured us it was no problem. We arrived to find our breakfast basket on the kitchen bench, the fireplace ready to be lit (it took only a single match to get it underway) and the spa already hot and ready to go. We awoke to birdsong and stillness. Perfect. … The cabins are really well laid out and appointed. There is a full kitchen (electric stove and oven) which is nice if like us you enjoy cooking for yourself and not always eating out while away on a break. The cabins are well spaced so it feels like you are in your own patch of bush. The wineries are a short pleasant drive away and if you are looking for a quiet place to hole up while exploring the Hunter Valley, look no further. We are already planning our next visit.

What an amazing place to relax and unwind, so peaceful and quiet, cabins are cosy and warm specially in winter very tidy and clean as well… the spa was clean and warm, welcome breakfast basket was special… The hosts are so friendly and welcoming … We highly recommend this place,,,,

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cottages. It had everything we needed, was far enough away from everything to be tranquil and relaxing yet only a short drive into town and the wineries.

Exactly what my partner and I needed… and more! The cottage had everything you could need and the spa bath was definately worth it. Even in the winter chill! The breakfast basket upon arrival was fantastic and the complimentary shiraz was a lovely warming welccome! We were very well looked after. Serenity amongst the trees!

It's my most favourite place in the world. I would never stay anywhere else in the Hunter.
