Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with comfortable bed, very clean, and good size bathroom with nice shower/water pressure. Tea/coffee, toaster, microwave, fridge facility all good. The Inn is in a great location, with shops and club all walking distance — just across the road! In has free secure car parking, and decent size pool to cool off on those hot days. Would definitely stay again.

Verry clean service was excellent would stay again in a heartbeat.

Just wanted to say a big 'Thank you' to the reception staff and staff of the Old Maitlan Inn for looking after us this weekend for our sons wedding and allowing us to have a BBQ breakfast this morning. We enjoyed our stay emensly Thank you Kim and Rob Cork.

We stayed last night. I’m a housekeeper so for the price we paid the standard wasn’t worth it. The shower hadn’t been cleaned properly with anything but a damp cloth and an awful smell In the carpet near the bathroom. We came back from seeing family to go to bed as had traveled from qld that day with two kids only to be kept up till well after 2 am with guests partying in the pool screaming and carrying on drunk. People standing out side our door talking and smoking all hours of the morning. Was absolutely shocked that a place would let people carry on like that! Was a really horrible experience.

Excellent. One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in ages. Beds very comfortable and sheets super clean. Friendly staff. Parking outside each room and good walking distance to the club and shops.

Rooms were clean and a good size. The service was good too. Beds comfy. Pet friendly which is great. Only con was whatever was sprayed in the room was that strong it gave me a headache and I tasted it all night but I guess that's better than smelling the previous smelly guests.

My wife and I stayed there only recently, and could not fault the place. From the very welcoming managers, to the very attentive staff in the restaurant, where the food was excellent… and topping it off with a really cosy room with all mod/cons. We will certainly stay again and strongly recommend to our friends. Thankyou for a most enjoyable stay.

Lovely big rooms, really clean, and had everything you'd want! Even wine glasses! Right across the road from two grocery stores and a quick drive to the best wineries in the area! Had the best experience with the front desk staff!

Very pleasant thoughtful and helpful staff; Fruit salads at breakfast made from fresh fruit (plenty! ) and nicely presented; delicious dinner menu at restaurant. Option of "food to go" is a great idea — very good quality, quantity and excellent value for money.

Great value. Room simple but clean and more than adequate. Friendly service and restaurant was a pleasant surprise with varied menu and excellent quality. I’d stay again no problem.

Great place to stay. Rooms very clean & good size, Managers very helpful & great to speak with & Buffet breakfast was great. We had a great time staying there well worth checking into will stay there again.

Certainly nothing fancy, but adequate at a reasonable price. Room was clean, staff friendly, and location is just across the street from a shopping centre and several restaurants. Would be fine to spend a night or two if you are just looking for a place to stay while travelling through.

Great room with comfortable and clean beds, TVs and shower were a bit small. Overall a great place to stay for the price if you're in the area or headed to Port Stephens.

Very nice, modern and friendly place to stay the night. The food in the restaurant was very appetising. Pauline and Robert were exceptional hosts and were more than happy to help with every question. This place is reasonably truck friendly, I brought a 19m truck and trailer in, and they had some where for me to park it. Very very happy with the price, the room, the restaurant, and the expertise shown by both Pauline and Robert. Thanks for a great experience guys.

Tidy, clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation very close to shops and amenities. Will stay again next time I’m up in the Hunter.

Overall, great place which cannot be missed and is really convenient for the travellers who are visiting the nearby Bays, beaches or Newcastle.

Not enough stars to rate properly. Need about 10 plus. We held a 50 year high school reunion there on Saturday night and the venue and staff were above excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were so friendly and obliging in their service to us and the dining room was beautifully set out for us and the food was excellent with all special meals exactly right. Accomodation was available for those requiring it with a buffett breakfast to finish. A big thank you to management and all staff for your part in making our night a huge success.

Stayed here for nearly 18months now for work, had a break when new management came in as they were terrible but back wheen they left.
Rooms are great service is fantastic and would recommend to everyone.

I came back after the last managers left and so happy I did. The new management has proven to to be the best I have met in 18 hears of traveling. They are attentive, and understand what it means to loom after guests. Toatally awsome, I wont sray anywahere else.

Worst customer service experience ever had from man and Wife owners. They should not be in the industry. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being treated like garbage!

Great place to stay very welcoming the restaurant was great relaxing place for dinner on our first night rooms are clean and quiet plenty of space.

G'day I arrived in town after 12hrs of driving and stopped at a hotel to ask directions to a motel, two men directed me to here. I phoned and immediately felt welcomed by Jan and then when I arrived to book in and met her and her husband I was overwhelmed by their hospitality and professionalism. This is the first time I've ever written a review online but I would thoroughly recommend this motel to anyone.

Clean room, gopd for one night stay, managers are friendly, dinner wqs not so great though, had lamb chops with bread crumbs but didn't like it. Breakfast was ok and check in and out were relatively quick.

I decided to change my review to be fair to the original staff. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. The menu has changed and is very goid Keira was fantastic to us very friendly and extremely helpful. Unfortunately we have decided to use another motel for the next 6 months as we found the new manager rude unable to take criticism. Nice place to stay.

Room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Beds were comfy, air con worked well, everything in the room worked. Very happy, would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant rooms, located on a main road, but conveniently across the road from an aldi.

Room was so spacious, people were exceptionally friendly, and all necessities were there. Big points for the free Wi-Fi!

We have stayed at the Old Maitland Inn several times now while visiting family in the Maitland area, the rooms are modern and spacious, the staff and owners are very helpful and friendly and just give you the homelike feeling which just makes our stay more enjoyable. We just love how there is a shopping complex straight across the road from the motel making it easy to grab some groceries. We spent many nights with family enjoying the Pool and BBQ Facilities which were always kept clean and tidy. We always make sure we dine at the restaurant when we stay as the food there is divine and Hubby enjoys the bar facilities as well. We highly recommend staying at the Old Maitland Inn and its our only choice for accommodation in the Mailtland area! Give them a call you want be disappointed. :)

We recently stayed at the Old Maitland Inn and I was so impressed with the facilities! As a family of three (almost 4), we were impressed with the spacious rooms. The rooms had clearly had a recent face lift, with new furniture and were modern and very pleasant inside. The grounds were well kept and the pool area made for a gorgeous retreat with our young family. I thought the BBQ facilities were a great addition for those travelling on a budget (there is a large complex of supermarkets a short stroll across the road). We ended up eating dinner in the restaurant and were delighted with the choice and that it opened early! All the meals were delicious and dessert was amazing! The staff were all incredibly polite and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend staying at the Old Maitland Inn and will definitely be back!

I arrived late and tied, the manager Rob, could not have been more hospitable. Large room very clean — will stop there again PS and a great buffet breakfast.

Low cost motel, clean and does the job if need somewhere to crash. Go the continental brekkie rather than cooked as cooked is very basic and could disappoint. Only instant coffee at brekkie, which was a bit rugged, meant a stop at McCafe before heading back to Sydney. Friendly staff, so overall we liked. Again, good place to sleep.
