Love this, staff are sooooo friendly and always feel so welcoming when we arrive…, great place to visit.

Aaamazing food and atmosphere! Worth our trip and great to support the local pub. Bella does an amazing selection of specials that scream freshness by sourcing local ingredients, and taste that you’d be surprised and impressed! Definitely a gem!

The menu is pricey for what one gets compared to the norm. For example, $12 for a small serving of wedges. The atmosphere is lovely and the people friendly, but after a half a dozen meals here I would have to say that it is hit and miss, some meals highly enjoyable and some meals left unfinished.

I just had a light entree and a coffee because I needed a break. Superb food. Lovely coffee. And a really friendly approachable ‘food lady’

A great place for our 1st day out after the lockdown. The kids loved it too, there was plenty of room for them to run around in.

This is our local pub. Used to come here frequently and enjoy the great food, until the place changed hands. The bistro food was then OK, not brilliant but the service was appalling. Very often having to wait 45 minutes for your order. The recent change to Bistro staff to Bellas Feast has improved the service amazingly. Absolutely no complaints there, but sad to say, the food was very ordinary. On a recent Saturday evening with 4 of us having completely different meals, not one of us finished our plates. My Parma was probably the best of the bunch. The chips were cooked well and the portion was big, but it didn't have much taste. My wife had some duck nocchi thing which was woeful. I noticed the prices overall seem to have risen a little as well. Although I have no issue with paying for something good. I really want this place to be great like it used to be, but until I hear from other locals it has improved, you have lost my business, sorry.

Great lunch today. 2 of us had the Barra — delicious, one a 10/10 steak and the pork belly scored a 10 as well. We also met very friendly Bella and we wish her well with the imminent arrival of her baby.

the new restauranteurs are turning out awesome pub food that’s worth the trip out to Gundaroo. With wineries in the region showcasing some great local wines, it’s a shame the pub doesn’t extend the same to some of Canberra’s exceptional breweries.

This was a gem of a pub serving amazing food. However, they have marketed out the kitchen in the last fortnight, or should I say sold there soul to the devil! The menu has been slashed, the portions halved, home cooked food has turned into deep fried from a packet… firstly under cook and still frozen in the middle… returned after complaint over cooked. Home made chips have changed to Aldi packet. There is no way I will travel out of Canberra to eat such slop. Even the pasta sauce was awful. If they carry on like this they will go out of business.

If you live in Canberra and have never visited this gem of a country pub there's a little place in your soul that will forever remain unfulfilled… The food is great and fabulous value, there's a locally brewed cider on tap, and the welcoming atmosphere is added to by the charismatic landlord 'Choppy'. Get out of town and treat yourself!

Lovely food, service and atmosphere. I go as often as I can. I love the salmonvthe best, then the cutlets. Healthy food. My friends that I have roped into coming out here for lunch or dinner have cime back with me a coyole of times, ad they loved the food and ambience.

Cosey, large room. Service is basic as only the off site manager can do anything. No curtains so very bright once the Sun is up. Overpriced as limited Accommodation in town.

Great restaurant for lunch with nice open fireplaces inside. Had the Lamb Shanks for $26 and they were delicious with the meat falling off the bone and nice and fluffy mash for a side. Friendly local place great to stop by for lunch and dinner.

Magic, I had the pleasure of attending a fun night with thirty other people at the Gundaroo Pub thirty five years ago. We travelled out by bus. We drank billy tea and ate damper with strawberry jam and cream. We played games and finished off with a belly full of the amber fluid. We then travelled home by bus.

If you live in Canberra or are travelling from Sydney, make sure you drop into the unique and historic village of Gundaroo just 15 minutes off the Federal Highway. The Gundaroo Colonial Inn welcomes you as soon as you duck your head under the front door. The atmosphere is warm, clean and inviting. The locals are always up for a friendly yarn, kids are welcome and the food is fantastic. This little hidden treasure attracts great bands, is able to hold events such as birthday parties, corporate events and even intimate weddings. You won't be disappointed.
