We arrived on a horrible, windy and rainy afternoon.
Staff already had put on the air-conditioner, so we walked into our warm cocoon… great, thoughtful touch.

A beautiful motel with fantastic views. Even saw some whales in the sunrise this morning. We very much appreciated the Covid safe check-in and the immaculate cleanliness. Very well managed. 5 stars.

The views were lovely and our room had everything we needed including the kitchen sink.

Love this place I have stayed in the house, the one bedroom apartments and the 3 bedrooms at all different times of the year and have never had a bad experience.

Its just a magical place in every way. Magnificent facilities and stunning setting.

My whole wedding party stayed here back in 2009, It was so relaxing and comfortable. We recommend for a Romantic getaway or a Family holiday come to Narooma and Stay at the Amooran.
One day we will return!

We stayed at the cottage which is just beautiful, well appointed, lovely views from the living room dining room and some of the bedrooms. Good sized flatscreen TV for the evenings. And so easy to keep clean.

Great view. Great location. Prompt service. Accomodation was suitable (would have like to include a bath). Pool/bbq area was fantastic. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Amooran in an Oceanside room with views across to the lighthouse and island. We saw numerous whales from our room. The room was modern and we'll maintained and included a kitchenette which was very useful Overall, a great place to stay.

I feel privileged to yet again enjoy this piece of paradise in a town I'm now so lucky to call home. My partner and I first stayed here in our courting days and nothing has changed awesome hospitality provided by friendly staff who may or my may not know where to catch fish in there local inlet (could be our ability). We will definitely be back, perhaps our anniversary? Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to this awesome town.

We booked 3 weeks in advance for a family room and studio room for our family on the 2018 Australia Day long weekend. They asked for a 50% deposit up front which was unusual for a highly rated and reputable holiday accommodation. While unusual we thought it was simply because it was a long weekend. We now suspect otherwise! When we arrived at the hotel, they then wanted the balance of the accommodation paid in full before they handed over the keys. This obviously is highly irregular with accommodation normally settling the account at the end of your stay. We at this point had not seen the room or been told there was any issues. Once it was paid, the receptionist told us that the air conditioner in the family unit (1 bedroom) was not working but "luckily" they have put a fan in the room for us at no extra charge! Note that January in Australia is blisteringly hot and humid! We immediately said that was not appropriate with the forecast for hot weather and we wanted a different room which they were not able to give us. We asked for a discount on the room and she couldn't give it to us but said she would ask the manager on our behalf. We had driven seven hours from home and we knew there was no chance of getting other accommodation in the area on a long weekend so we were stranded and they had our money. The manager clearly knew this! The doors and windows were wide open front and back with the noisy fan blasting to try and exhaust the hot air out of the room.

It is a very nice place with a good view, but the mattress on the bed felt soft and cheap, which is not good for any people like me with back problems…

We came back for our second holiday here and its amazing. The room is nice, you get everything in the room, amazing views of the ocean. It is quiet and staff are nice :)

Fantastic new and clean rooms. Kitchenette. Spacious. Get the top floor and ocean facing rooms and you can see the ocean from the bed. I even spotted some wales.

Absolutely perfect. We had a king room that was right at the front Spectacular views. The room is large and clean and has everything you need to stay in or cross the road and you have great meals at the golf club. Bed is so comfortable and staff are awesome Would highly recommend.

Right opposite the edge of the Pacific Ocean and world famous golf course.
If you've never driven through Narooma you don't know what you're missing. If you've never pulled in for a look, you've never had the pleasure to take in the magical views to Montague Island and all up and down the coastline, from Dalmeny to south of Narooma. The water here is full of microorganisms which give the surrounding waters an aqua blue reflection. Absolutely breathtaking.

The location is excellent. We stayed in an apartment overlooking the golf course and the ocean. The apartment had all the comforts of home. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the entire place, it was spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

Good bed and spacious room. Used the kitchen facilities and they were adequate. Nice view and the spa was comfortable. Wifi flakey and difficult to connect.

Lovely apartment and location but the staff were polite but not friendly. We were greeted with 'hello, you have to pay the balance on checking in' (! ), and left with 'goodbye'. Surely they could do better than that. And there was no recognition that, when the spa didn't work, a refund should have been offered. Even if a self-contained apartment, staff attitudes make for a nicer stay.
