The first time we went for dinner, the food was excellent. I had the lamb cutlets and they were great. The second time we went I had the chicken pasta and although the pasta and chicken was great, it was almost like they had forgotten the sauce. We were in a large group and two others felt the exact same way. Apart from this issue with the pasta, the restaurant is probably the best in Cobar. I would say that this was likely a once off issue but will definitely be going back again.

Clean friendly place probably a bit expensive considering it's in the middle of nowhere and it has plenty of competition but is the pick of motels in Cobar.

Large affordable comfortable rooms. Great meal in adjoining restaurant. Had a great laugh and chat to the lovely staff as I had my meal at the bar.

Wonderful family orientated Hotel with very large and spacious rooms. Wheelchair access available. The prices are wxonomal and staff are very helpful and caring.

Accommodation is comfortable and the area is quiet even though it's on a main road. The restaurant has a reasonable menu, the food is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

A beautiful room and the service from check in counter to the restaurant was excellent. They even start breakfast at 5.15am do you can get moving.

The waiter was pushy and was up in our faces. The waitress took in unwelcomed photos constantly throughout our dinner.

Rooms are very big and spacious, perfect for family or group of people.

The management were welcoming and the staff very friendly — had dinner in the restaurant which was amazingly good with large portions! The only downside was the queen bed but the single beds were quite comfortable. Definitely would recommend this place and will be revisiting on our next trip out west.

No working heater and when I asked for them to look at heater receptionist was very rude. Only double beds. Need to start upgrading your rooms if you want to keep business coming in.

Asked for a room with a microwave and got told some rooms have them and some don't. Of course we were given a room that didn't have one. We walked into the room and it smelt of burnt hair. The bed was on wheels on Lino and moved constantly we had to prop it with cupboards to get any sleep as there were no brakes on the bed. Very uncomfortable night for $99.

Wasn't the best place I stayed at the family rooms didn't have microwave no cutterly and the aircons didn't work properly … Staff were friendly … I rate a 2

Large comfy room. Cool even without aircon. Big bathroom. Nice pool… had a refreshing dip! Complimentary drink on arrival a nice way to end a long drive.

Great place to stay the staff and management are friendly and welcoming they go out of their way to help and always ready will advice on what to see and visit. Dinner was really good kitchen and bar staff great. Would recommend to all visitong Cobar. Thanks gang.

Great place to stop in Cobar. Do not stay at the caravan park, it is rubbish and really expensive!

When we arrived we were told they don, t have a chief so no dinner like we were told when we booked no breakfast even though it was included in the price 155.00. We were told if we wanted breakfast they would give us bread for us to toast but in the room there was no plates to use, no info book on the TV or anything else in cobar. Staff were not hospitable we would not recommend this to anyone.

A bit pricy for the dated rooms, the en-suites look like they have recently been updated but the rest of the room needs a make over to justify the price. $155 for one night.
