It’s not the Hilton, but it’s well priced, clean, has great service, and is very convenient.

Good value, friendly management, great room, comfortable bed. A little bit too far out of town to walk in, but right next to the visitor centre which is useful.

Rooms are very neat and clean, good location to drive to interesting sights around Parkes and Forbes. Next door to the Henry Parkes Centre.

Great value for money and we'd definitely stay again. Rooms have been updated really well and to a decent standard. Very clean; quiet; great bed and staff were really helpful and friendly. Andrew had switched on our room air con before we arrived — oh, and the air con was quiet! Mary Jo.

Pretty good albeit slightly pricey. For five stars replace the noisy window air conditioners with split systems, and add a microwave :)

Great place. Friendly staff! Had a family room for 2 adults 2 kids and very roomy and comfortable. Kids even had their own TV. Would stay again next time for sure and the dish is amazing!

Have been stopping at the Spanish Lantern over the last couple of years on our trips from Melbourne to Brisbane. It has always been a clean comfortable stopover that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Andrew has continued the great work in providing an excellent service and decent coffee! Couldn't recommend highly enough for the road weary traveller.

The owners of this place seem to despise their guests. The male owner had a bad attitude on the phone and in person. Give this place a miss.

After reading some of the reviews online I was hesitant about staying here, but I'm glad to say we had a good visit. Our group occupied four rooms which were all clean and newly painted, with flat screen TV's, and Wi-Fi. The owners were nice enough… If other less than positive reviews were true — they've certainly taken the feedback on board.

There were cockroaches in my bed, as I was about to jump in bed. It was too late to move rooms or motels as the town was totally booked out.
