We stayed there over Easter 2019, wonderful clean rooms; wonderful friendly staff. Centrally located to everything loved our stay and highly recommend for couples, families and weary travellers. Thank you Marie and Darren.

Good location, clean. Beds were a little uncomfortable (not the worst I’ve had! ). Could do with a bit of updating, furnishings were a little outdated. Would happily stay here again. 2 bedroom room was perfect for the 5 of us (2 Adults and 3 Children).

Nice overnight stop. Pleasant facilities. Comfortable mattresses. Toilet paper could be better quality.

I enjoyed staying at the Abel Tasman. The rooms are tidy and clean with comfy beds, plenty of towels provided. Breakfast was good and arrived on time. Staff were polite and helpful. Room has a kettle, toaster, tea and biscuits and I was given milk at the front desk. Price was reasonable considering I booked on the day. Parking is easy and the motel is close to restaurants (I was given a discount for my meal at the club over the road), fast food and the city centre. I would stay there again.

Nice, clean and well maintained rooms. Fresh milk for tea/coffee is a nice touch. Excellent location for traveling through Dubbo, right across the road from the bowls club.

Couldn’t hear the highway traffic. Clean and comfortable. Parking was slightly tight with large rigid trucks and caravans parked onsite. My only complaint is they never replenished my milk and biscuits.

We booked over the phone, no mention was made you could not cancel. When we had to cancel, they refused and debited the full amount to our credit card. I would never deal with this motel again, they claim they are booked out every night, but would not cancel, much better service at the Akuna motor inn up the road where we normally stay. A big thumbs down.

My bridal party and I got ready for my wedding day in the executive suit, the room was amazing, Kevin and Sharon went abouts and beyond to make everything perfect for us and my husband and I spent our first night in the room as well, the spa is great! I recommend this place. I really like the look of it from the outside. The room is clean, the staff are nice, it's close to local shops so if you're in Dubbo… stay at the Abel Tasman.

This was a very tidy and clean motel with very modern facilities, comfy lounge and helpful and cheery staff. The rooms are well appointed and decorated which makes me wonder why you would go to such extremes in decorating and then add an average shower head that let down the stay because after travelling all day the two things you want most is a good shower and a comfy bed which was also a bit on the hard side. Other than that l highly recommend this motel and l would stay there again, hopefully next time they will have updated their shower at least and l'll increase my rating. The room was clean and well set out but it was a little too clise to the highway and I could hear the traffic.

Great Motel of choice 1/2 way between Melbourne and Brisbane. … make a booking though as they book out early each day! We've been staying here on and off for over 10 years and it is kept clean like new… family rooms available. … friendly Reception until 9pm at night! Highly recommend!

Can't fault for convenience of location right across from Club Dubbo but with that came quite a bit of noise. If you are a light sleeper it could be an issue. There was a strange smell in the room which only diminished when we closed the door to the bathroom so we suspect it was coming from the plumbing of the spa bath. Comfortable and roomy enough but not one of the better rooms I have stayed in around Dubbo at similar pricepoint.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The managers, Kevin and Sharon were very helpful and caring. The room was presented well, very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit. Paul and Karlene.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. Lovely rooms complete with microwave and toaster, crockery and cutlery which is very rare at most of the motels we have stayed at and helpful staff. Would recommend The Able Tasman to anyone.

We stayed here on the drive from Brisbane to Melbourne. There are certainly cheaper motels (we paid $135 per night) however it was great. The room was spacious and clean, had comfortable beds and we felt at ease. It is located directly across the road from Club Dubbo which has bistro dinners. We found the combination very convenient. We would absolutely stay again.

Nice place to stay a night in Dubbo. Everything was good except the Wi-Fi which was available 3 hours each day and only one device could be connected to it.

Our stay at the Abel Tasman was just right. The room was perfect in size and configuration and the aircon units were whisper quiet. That in it self put a smile on my face. I have a hospitality background and know and appreciate good service. At the Abel Tasman I felt that all my requests and needs were never too much hassle and their service always came with a smile. Hard to find good hospitable service like that. We will most definitely return to the Abel Tasman again.

Stayed a few times in recent years, nice rooms, comfortable beds, easy booking and in a great place for an easy departure straight out of dubbo if heading south, recommend a spa room :).
