Great motel in the middle of town, very convenient. Extremely generous rooms, amazing staff. Parking right out the front, can't fault the place. Highly recommended. ☆☆☆☆☆

Great staff, very clean and spacious rooms, ample parking… right across the road from the publuc swimming pool and a pleasant short walk (even shorter drive) to the shops on the main road. Recommend staying here if visiting Canowindra or outlying suburbs/towns.

Simple, friendly, as expected, clean, and reasonably priced.

Very clean, spacious rooms. Contemporary decor. Only suggestion given there is no dinner available on site is 1. A charge back facility or 2. A sink in rooms and cutlery other than teaspoons or knives to eat T/A. Owners though very friendly.

Couldn't meet a friendlier couple who go above and beyond with their service. The high quality in every aspect of this Motel has me recommending this to anyone who will be heading their way. Everything was clean and in great condition, staff were all polite, so many little details making it all the more enjoyable to stay, from the free Wi-Fi right down to the bucket with water and a squeegee to clean our car windows after driving around the dirt roads sitting out on the parking lot verandah.

My experience differs from the other reviewers. To be as objective as possible, I have waited several days before I wrote this. For my $95 — I had no hot water available when I needed it for a shower at 2am. While running the tap to try to get some hot water to start flowing, a septic smell started emanating from the bathroom drain filling the room with stench. Finally, at 6:30 in the morning I was woken by a cleaner banging the walls of the next door unit with a vacuum cleaner. So now it's 6:30am. I try the hot water again, and nothing. I go to the office and Des the owner said the hot water had never been a problem. He came to the unit, couldn't smell the drain stench and said nothing regarding the cleaner waking me. To give credit, after many, many long minutes, hot water finally did come out of the tap. In my unit, the rooms were indeed large and clean as Eileen M. Mentioned in her review. $95 was the in the lower range of accommodation I had checked in Canowindra. Finally, when asked, they gave me a room to satisfy my ground floor access requirements. However, Des made no offer of compensation for my expressed dissatisfaction, nor was a discount offered on a return booking I had planned for my return leg returning through Canowindra. Serendipitously, on my return leg I found an absolute gem of accommodation in town for $60 and of significantly higher standard than the Riverview. So in a way, Riverview helped me. I hope my review helps inform your choice.
