Absolutely disgusting! Don’t bother staying — We booked for a 1 night stay & paid over the phone, We didn’t get sent the address, a confirmation email or given a receipt, even though we asked 3 times. We arrived to find no body on site — the owner / staff had left for the day knowing we were checking in. We had to wait for them to come back to check in, in the rain. The room was appalling! The aircon only blew cold air (we stayed in winter) most of the lights didn’t turn on, the shower looked dirty, we had no dooner cover, just a thin sheet & blanket & drum roll … no hand soap at the sink. Nothing at all! Obviously you dont expect a shampoo etc but to not even have soap — yuk! The water from the tap was brownish in colour. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbour practically breathing. The screens have holes in them & the sheets stained. We couldn’t wait to get out the next day & went to check out at 9am to find once again no one on site. The price is a reach for what you actually get — I have seen better hostels. I would recommend not staying there until it’s cleaned, upgraded & managed properly — it is very run down. It’s no wonder there’s no photos of the room inside on the website — makes sense now.

Given the price and location, if you are passing through or staying for a few days on a budget, it is a perfectly fine place to stay. There were some issues with the hot water (none), however the cleanliness of the room could not be faulted — mind you, I did forget to check the mattress which hopefully had a washable protector on it. Be warned, when we stayed in March a hide apartment was being built next door so you were woken by construction at 7am.

Great place to stay right on the river.

Unfortunately the night we stayed we were informed that there was no hot water as we were picking up the keys. Stayed the night anyway and our room was clean and bed was comfy. Cold shower was a bit of a bugger though. Construction site 20 metres away started at 7 am so was woken up pretty abruptly, though that isn't the fault of the motel management. Probably wouldn't recommend to others, even at being quite cheap.

Stayed for weekend. Rooms were clean, Staff most helpful especially Jo. Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Worst motel ever. Stayed in motel for 2 hours then requested to leave and get a refund due to how un-tidy the place was. Toilet and shower won't clean someones hair left in the sink. Beds dirty, the whole room had a weird smell and very dusty. The front door didnt even shut properly. No customer service, we explained the situation but were blamed for using the room amenities so why should refund be given because we had already stayed for 2 hours, might I add most of this time was spent having dinner across the road. Which we explained to the lady but just turned into a big argument with staff. In the end it soiled our weekend and end up going back home the same day. ***Waste of money please beware of how bad the conditions are. Staff are very rude and unhelpful.
