Yeay! We love this place! a perfectly cooked steak and veg, reasonable pricing, gluten free options available, super quick service and friendly staff. This place has a lovely welcoming feel and is noticeably clean! Would definitely stop in here next time I’m in the area.

Went for lunch. The food was average, if not a bit below average which made it unreasonably priced. Atomosphere was nothing special but it was nice to see old pictures of the hotel on the wall. Some interesting pieces of antique furniture around the place.

What a comfortable and relaxing place to dine. Our waitress was brilliant. I have pretty specific dietary requirements, and nothing was too much trouble. If she was unsure about an ingredient, she checked for me. What an excellent meal, my pork belly was delicious as we're all of the meals. Well done on great food, great staff and great atmosphere.

Muesday special great. It means 2 mains for the price of 1 on Monday and Tuesday.

Excellent food. Husband had the lamb shoulder, I had the lamb sausages, 1yr old son had chicken nuggets and chips. My son's meal was brought out promptly, very thoughtful gesture to help tired parents with hungry toddler! You must get the cheesecake for dessert. It was devine.

Dropped into the bistro after a hard day's hike in the mountains. Fairly quiet and peaceful dinner, the staff were nice and helpful and showed us to the table (despite it being a bistro). Ordered chicken schnitzel which was crumbed and fried well with herbs and salad. Decent for the price, but I would like the serving size to be a bit bigger. Convenient location to have a quick meal and a drink.

At the Grand View Hotel I did not stay but only ate lunch, so the rating is only the restaurant. My standard menu with starter, main dish and dessert was just fine, too bad, because the food had looked better visually.

Ok food had a stop off on way to the Blue Mountains National Park. Friendly staff prices were average.

I wasn't told when I checked in that I had a free breakfast included in the price so I missed it. Rooms should have a TV and bar fridge. Needs refurbishment but staff were friendly.

The beds are a bit old and the road is busy, but very nice people running the place.

Some friends and I had a drink in the front verandah sitting on Chesterfield sofas, and it was a very pleasant so in our new years eve program.

Had a nice night here recently. Good, clean room, huge ensuite and quiet. Continental breakfast ok. Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonable rate. Will come back again. Thank you to Staff.

I had delicious vegetarian nachos. Service was friendly and food was fast. Good selection of rooms to choose from. Lots of parking and close to station.

Nice and quiet. Perfect for our meeting, with flexibility to use a different room depending on our needs. Very tasty Potato wedges!

The rooms are nice with a great TV common area. Parking is great but the sheets were dirty and found the toilet situation odd. Expensive hostel not hotel. Also, check-in was at the bar with no signposting, noise from bar waffles into every room so not great for young kids or someone that wants to sleep. Cigarette smell waffles into the room from the outdoor beer garden.

Good food, nice outdoor area, nearby the station.

A slice of the past, you can still imagine what it looked like when it was brand new. Just off the Great Western hwy now it is an easy drive from Sydney. Wentworth Falls is in the heart of the mountains and the Grand View captures the atmosphere of relaxation.

Elegant, stylish and historic are the three words that pretty much describe this place. Its striking pink colour and elegant structure draw your gaze and make you visit the place on your way to or from Katoomba. Food is really good with some good options for vegetarians too. Decor is a bit old style but it adds to the charm as well. Pictures of era gone bye on the wall are reminiscent of the history of this place.

This is a welcoming place to stay on your way through Sydney. The bistro is great. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the hosts are friendly. The beds are a bit hard however. We have stayed here a few times, and have enjoyed our stay each time. It's a little slice of history — olde worlde.

Had lunch at the Grand View Hotel. Food was decent. As you would expect from pub food. Fairly busy on a dreary Sunday afternoon.

Food was great and drinks were well priced. Restaurant was a bit small so if you have a few people think about booking beforehand.

Bit expensive, but nice stay.

This is a Great place to have a beer and a game of pool and then eat in the restaurant. They have two-for-one special zone food on Monday and Tuesday nights.

I really like this place. I like in particular how traditional it is, how the rooms look almost exactly as they would have 50 years ago. I would like it if they put in Wi-Fi though. The real issue with this place though is that the room was freezing cold, despite the heating being on. This is a deal breaker for me and I think I'd have to recommend you don't stay here during the winter months — unless you really like it cold.

Good food, good value, good staff, we we're pleasantly surprised :) Went for the Tuesday 2 for 1 and had the steaks! Herb bread was also some of the best I've had.

Really easy checking, the room was just what we needed, simple but very much enough. Room and bathrooms were cleaned and the service was very friendly.

Good food well presented, price not too bad. Some could say a little high, I feel some meals were expensive and others good value. Bread rolls and water would complete the meal, but none were supplied.

Fantastic food — must book ahead. Great atmosphere and of course a well stocked play room for the kids. Off street parking making this hotel a great venue for dinner and lunch.

Restaurant over priced. No longer good value. Food and service is good but should be great at the price. End of the day, its a pub.

Up in the mountains for the filming of wyrmwood this weekend booked room 1 with the adjoining spa and was very happy with all aspects of the joint its no 5 star pent house but I didnt pay much more then I would have at a f1 all in all great joint would stay and recomend to any one just looking for a place to rest and clean up.
