What an amazing few days away this place was! It honestly felt like we were completely isolated surrounded by nothing but nature and the animals. I also had secretly planned a surprise proposal 🤭 with the AMAZING help from the Eagle View Escape staff (Nat & Alex but also Sean and Nicole) which my fiancée had absolutely no idea about! The team absolutely delivered exactly what I was hoping for and more! Truly one our most memorable trips away and one that we'll definitely be coming back to again! 🥰

Absolutely amazing! We had the most relaxing time, and the view was OUTSTANDING from our River View Suite. We felt a million miles from anywhere. The staff are second to none! I can't give them enough praise. Extremely helpful and each and every person we met had a giant smile on their face. Eagle View definitely exceeded all our expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a romantic weekend away. Can't wait to come and stay again. ❤❤

Came here for our 10 year anniversary and my partner’s birthday. It was super relaxing and peaceful. The views were incredible and the little alpacas and horses were very friendly and sweet. Definitely recommend to any couple looking for a getaway.

If you are after peace and serenity this is the place to come. The view from the room is amazing and having the local wildlife at your balcony is a joy. Thoroughly recommend taking a walk around the property and feeding the alpacas and horses. Highly recommend a stay 😀

Just had two very relaxing nights in the Passion cabin as an amazing end to our honeymoon! The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. Love that the cabins are fully self sufficient, we used the bbq for every meal which meant that we didn’t have to go anywhere. The alpacas were awesome and feeding them was a fun addition to the stay! Would definitely recommend for a romantic get away.

A beautiful place for a romantic or relaxing getaway. Very clean, and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The serenity is devine. Enjoyed the whole weekend from the minute we drove through the rock wall gate til we left. I would highly recommend this for any couple ♥️

Beautiful views and great rooms.

I booked Eagle View as a surprise for my partner. In particular the cabin Rendezvous. I knew it was
going to be amazing by the pictures but when my partner and I got there it blew my mind how well planned out and gorgeous the place was. I wanted something rustic, cosy, romantic and private. That is exactly what we got while staying here. I can’t describe to you enough how incredible it was, all I need to say is it’s 100% worth going and checking out if you want a romantic, relaxing getaway with your love. Little did I know when I booked this cabin that there were free ranging alpacas on the property. I am obsessed with Alpacas and Llamas and to wake up to find them outside our cabin in the morning, I nearly flipped my lid with excitement. We took our own food but did order the Romance package which was a treat to relax in the spa looking out the massive windows and enjoying good company with a good glass of wine. Only down side was in the Rendezvous cabin is they don’t have reading lights. Alternatively you can dim down the lights but over head bed lights would be beneficial. Other then that there is no doubt in my mind that we will be visiting again and again!

The perfect get away escape! So quiet and so peaceful! Rooms are so comfortable and the spa is amazing! The only thing I would fault is the drive way! It’s so narrow only allowing 1 car at a time! But there is nothing they can do about this so I won’t fault them! 5 stars!

Perfectly appointed suites, all the little things that make a big difference have been thought of and the service was 5 star all the way, nothing was too much trouble even when I realised I forgot my phone charger they had a spare one I could borrow! Loved the peace and quite, very peacefully and relaxing, great size rooms loved the position of the spa the layout of the room, my compliments to the chef dinner was delicious, and our host Natalie was welcoming and supper helpful. ps doning my bit for the drought having a dry spa lol.

My husband and I recently went up for a night to escape our 4 young children. We travelled less than 2 hours and by the time we arrived it felt like a different world, it was so peaceful, the views were beautiful and the spa melted away our stresses! We loved our whole stay at Eagle view. The view from our Lake View Suite was stunning and the fairy light lit hallway was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in our suite by the fire and looking at the view. The spa overlooking the window was wonderful for soaking in and taking in the view. The communal lounge room/games room was lovely along with landscape. Nicole was very welcoming. I would recommend this stunning getaway to any couple looking for a secluded romantic break.

Magnificent Retreat, it was truly a memorable time. It was the last holiday my beautiful wife Jacqui and I spent together before she passed away.

This is such a beautiful and wonderful place to escape to. My partner and I had the most relaxing weekend away for our birthdays and we were constantly impressed with each little detail from the views surrounding the accommodation to the lighting in the hallways, every detail is thought of and makes for a relaxing getaway. Could not recommend this place highly enough and we are already looking forward to coming back.

Highly reccomend Eagleview Escape, we recently stayed and had booked for two nights but enjoyed our time so much we stayed an extra night. From the moment we arrived the hospitality was so inviting and we were shown our lake view room which was perfectly clean and when we opened the door and saw our spectacular views we were blown away. The room was nice and toasty warm as it was freezing outside. The spa bath was a highlight of our stay and we spent a lot of time bubbling o…ur troubles away. We booked as our first child free getaway in 15yrs to celebrate our 15yr wedding anniversary and my birthday and I can not imagine anywhere else I would have rather been. Robyn even left us a surprise as I had mentioned it was our first time away child free in all those years and this was a beautiful touch that meant the world to us. Eagleview is the perfect place to relax and get away from the stress of our lives as busy parents of four children we never take time for ourselves and it was the most magical place for us to reconnect again. The facilities were great with pool table and board games to entertain us and we took a stroll to the lake and took in the views around us and the wildlife but mostly it was lovely to just enjoy the tranquility. We enjoyed in room dining and the meals were delicious and bought to our rooms on time and hot enough to enjoy we dined on lamb shanks cooked to perfection with creamy mash and enjoyed it desserts to follow.

We had the most amazing time at Eagleview Escape. Walking into our cosy warm cabin Friday night after our drive from Sydney was an absolute delight. Thank you very much for having us. We will certainly be back!

My husband and I stayed for the long weekend and left feeling so relaxed. We highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to unwind and escape the city life. It's the type of place you can snuggle up and watch the view or a movie as we did in the spa bath. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back next winter.

Lovely cabins, beautiful surrounds, very accommodating staff and personalised service. The staff were very easy going. I had ordered too many hampers (they were so plentiful) and, without any qualms whatsoever, the staff cancelled and refunded the remaining hamper. The complimentary hot apple muffins helped to keep us warm and fuelled for the day of sight seeing ahead. Location wise, it was a nice short drive to Katoomba to see the quintessential Blue Mountains sights and then a stop off in Leura (a recommendation by the staff) for a great lunch and stroll around the town. Finally, the cabin's spa bath and fire were very welcome after "strenuous" day of ambling around the area. Highly recommend this place to couples wanting a romantic, friendly, personalised getaway in seclusion amongst the gumtrees.

I stayed at Eagle View Escape for two nights with my partner for our 13 year anniversary. We had a great weekend away, and whilst there were some amazing things about the stay — namely the gorgeous scenery and food hampers — there were a few issues with our accommodation. Our cabin, "Obsession" was not nearly as secluded as we thought it would be — it was a few metres from the next cabin, and we could see our neighbours if we were to stand up near our spa, and if we were on the balcony. When we arrived, there were fake rose petals spread across the room — I might be pedantic, but it just felt cheap not having real ones. There was no tap in the toilet area to wash your hands, instead they've placed the tap outside of the shower instead of outside of the toilet (strange). Our TV was very small and had poor sound quality. There was only one mirror in our cabin, which was tiny and hidden away from any decent lighting (making it hard to paint my face). The lighting of the balcony was poorly thought out, the light is placed behind the BBQ, meaning when we were standing in front of the BBQ we could barely see what we were cooking. There were a few vertical blinds missing. Lastly, there were no bathrobes. We enjoyed our weekend at Eagle View Escape, but feel a few improvements could be made.

We went there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The whole weekend just blew us away! The room and the view was everything that we could ever have asked for. We woke up with the beautiful river in front of us and we saw heaps of kangaroos and alpacas! That was such a joyful and peaceful experience we could ever have for people like us from the city. The staff there were also very helpful. They showed us around the property and let us know where to eat in town and are of course are very friendly as well. The spa was relaxing. We would have really enjoyed the most of it if the filter was slightly clearer. All in all, great place and highly recommended!

River view spa suite was really relaxing and spacious. Very quite and great place to escape with a loved one. Alpacas were adorable on the premises and facilities were great. Service from the staff were great and helpful with any questions.

Breathtakingly Beautiful! Amazing views don't even begin to describe how amazing this place really is and what is had to offer. If you're looking for more then just your average getaway hotel to get away from the rush of the city and then Eagle View is the place for you. The hamper packages are to die for, get your orders in early for dinner or arrange self cook hampers to arrive at dinner time to have a more intimate dinner experience in the comfort of your own private cabin, apartment or lake view spa suits. There's animals everywhere as well, so if you like to hike and get outdoors then you'll be pleasantly surprised with more then just the great scenery. Along with that, there are a number of local activities to engage with including kayaking, jet skiing, traditional Japanese spas. Even the perfect place for those who have a boat, jet ski or kayak to get away for the weekend. This place is amazing and I'll definitely be back!

Eagle View Escape is nestled in the mountains of Rydal overlooking Lake Lyell. This adults only, couples retreat is the epitome of relaxation. The staff are amazing, the scenery is enchanting and the rooms are beyond compare. I will definitely be returning to this hidden paradise.

Even the drive in was a nice way to get excited about the paradise Quite as you're in the middle of nature with all the comforts! Little note — make sure to take a look at your bathtub jet We used it in the middle of the night while we were inside the tub What a horror of dirt! Hotel apologized the following morning and asked us to call them immediately Just didn't feel like getting dressed up and wait for someone to clean it at 1am… despite of that, loved the stay there.

Absolutely love this place. Stunning view in a short distance from Sydney, it has always been our perfect getaway. We feel incredibly lucky that we found this place and each visit just makes the place even more special. Highly recommended for couples if you are looking to take a few days break from hectic daily lives. It's quick and easy to get to — and nature is a true joy and bliss here.

Love coming here. Each time I'm here it's so easy to forget the world and just recharge. It's always sad to leave but I know I will keep coming back for the serenity, peaceful surrounds, gorgeous scenery, top end boutique service and accomodation. Everyone should enjoy this lovely place at least once but you will keep coming back for more.

Our room was lovely, we enjoyed the spa and the views were beautiful. I was a bit disappointed in a few things that I would have expected when staying at such a high priced "boutique" accommodation. The lighting was very low and shadowy, which was great for romance but not so good when you want to see in the mirror in the bathroom or when you want to cook in the kitchen. The gas cooktop is located just under a shelf which makes it slightly awkward to cook on and there was no exhaust fan in the kitchen which is definitely needed. The spa is located with windows all around it with sheer curtains. It was really nice to be able to look out at the view but not so nice being able to look out at the other "secluded" cabins as well, were they looking out too? It wasn't so comfortable thinking that someone might walk past while we were in the spa. I really enjoyed the nespresso machine in our room. I haven't used one before, so it was tricky to work out what to do when the instructions for the machine weren't for the machine we had, but I worked out how to use it eventually. The spa is lovely, really nice and big, it definitely fits two people comfortably. The lights weren't working, which was a bit dissapointing. We didn't have instructions for the spa either. The gas fire was lovely, we were warm and snug the whole time. Again there were no instructions on how to use it so we just had to wing it. It was a really lovely place to stay. It was nice and quiet and relaxing.

Awesome nature mountain view. Great spa, friendly staff. Almost perfect resort / great city escape. Only downside for me personally is the way to get there is a bit challenging but adventurous. Next time I go there will be either spring / autumn. The flies can ruin the experience and also it is adult only don't bring child :)

Fantastic stay in an incredible beautiful location and exceptional views from our room. The service is really good and you can see the owners put a lot of heart into their work and property. The wildlife is a really nice experience for city slickers like us. Best value for money we've experienced in a long time! Go for the add on packages as they are a bargain for what you get!

Lovely. Nice and secluded. The walks down to the lake early in the morning were a really nice experience. Spa bath in the floor of the room was amazing with views down the hills. There were also some cute alpacas, kangaroos and horses on the property.

My fiancee have stayed here twice now and each time just loved the place. On arrival the fire was lit, room warm (it was freezing outside! ) and spa just perfect. Staff are sublte and discreet so you truly feel like you are left to your own devices for your staf. Meals are great if arranged in room and close to town. Can't wait to go back again… and again. Highly recommend the Executive Spa suites, looking out over the lake and stars. Romantically perfect!
