This was a great place to stay on our recent visit to Katoomba. The studio room was spacious, and all the amenities we're in first class condition. We especially enjoyed our wee glass of port before we went to bed.

Really enjoyed stay here, clean and comfortable and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Great location close to everything, room was fantastic with all the extras. Port to sip on right near the fireplace, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, chocolates, cereal, milk etc too much to mention. Breakfast brought too the room highly recommend.

My parents stayed here last night and had a terrible experience. My mother was caught in the shower with a head full of shampoo and the water went feeezing cold. This had happened to her after her partner brought to the managers attention and he insisted it would be fine for her to take a shower. But the issue recurred. When bringing this issue to his attention they were met with insistence that everything was ok! How can you not actually listen to the issues your customers are experiencing and blame them for their experience? Bad service, bad customer relations. Not recommended. My mothers partner was very happy the breakfast.

We stayed here 1night. A beautiful, cozy, neat and tidy room and great location. The open gas fire with the welcome wine made our day. If there are more stars, I would give 10s haha. We highly recomand this place and we will defenitely book again!

Such a lovely place to stay! My husband and I weren't very familiar with Katoomba and it's surrounds, so it was lovely to have Paul tell us all the things we could do! The room was lovely with everything we could ever dream of needing! And the breakfast supplied had it all! We would definitely come back!

Absolute perfection, loved our stay here so much! Great location, super comfortable accommodation, very private and romantic. Loved all the little extras provided and the friendly but discreet hosts. I'd rather stay here than at a 5 star hotel. I have to work out how to recreate the cosy fireplace at home…

Enjoy a spa bath to soothe after a day of treking about or just relax with port and chocolates.
I will be back to relax not soon enough to Shelton-Lea.

Unique, cozy, and very welcoming experience. You're also minutes away from all the attractions, plus some nice restaurant options.

Jenny and paul were sooooo good… I am going there sooon again… The place was soooooooooo cozy… I cant say enough about it… Highly recommended it was amazing.

What a fantastic experience :) My boyfriend and I stayed here and we're over the moon with the experience! Every little detail had been thought of from the choccies and port to the fresh juice and cooked breakfast and all the little bits and pieces in between. Jenny and her husband are lovely, friendly people and it's a shame we only had one night to spend here! Rooms were beautiful and clean, cosy and comfortable. Location is prime and walking distance from the main town, can't wait to come back!

A wonderful spot 10 minute walk from the echo point. The room we booked was incredibly clean and has many small items, representing just the attention to detail. There was also the breakfast of really all hunky-dory. Whether it's bacon and eggs or a tasty breakfast dish with salmon. Everything was very tasty, warm and brought us to the room. Finally, the hosts are of course not to forget. Always with a smile on his face, they were always helpful and courteous. We would book it again at any time, if Australia away was not so far :).

A lovely place! Warm, inviting, clean and comfortable. Had a wonderful stay and the hosts were very friendly, informative and helpful. Little surprises like chocolates on arrival, yummy port, hot chocolate with marshmallows and delicious homemade cupcakes after the day out were just awesome. Definitely a place I'd go back to and recommend to anyone going to the Blue Mountains. ☺

This delightful little B and B is full of little hidden treasures. We have stayed more times than we can count over the last 5 years and it's always a pleasure to go back. Jenny and Paul are the perfect hosts, and each suite is a total delight, with a bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and little deck area. Each suite has it's own unique charm. Breakfasts are delicious and served in your own living/dining room, as are the sweet treats that Jenny always manages to magic up for guests! Shelton Lea is perfectly located, being within a short walk of both Katoomba town centre and Echo Point and the Three Sisters. It's super easy to get around with or without a car, we've stayed with wheels and without, Jenny even picked us up from the train station when we came by rail (but it's easily walkable). Shelton Lea — it's like a home from home in the mountains!
