Absolutely wonderful stay grounds and accommodation was beautiful and exactly what a couples getaway should be. Team were welcoming and friendly. Loved it here and will be back!

Absolutely fantastic facilities and accommodation. Chelsey looked after us for the majority of our stay and was simply unbelievably helpful and friendly. The wood fire in our Possum's Hideaway was very cozy, and made our stay very comfortable. Possums Hideaways are secluded cabins up the back of the large reserve, secluded and private! Can't rate high enough, a must stay if travelling in the blue mountains. Very central to surrounding towns with plenty to see and do.

Highly recommend. Thank you for a stress-free weekend away. Facilities are very accommodating and thoughtful. Very lax conditions for guests, based on trust and mutual consideration. Well done! Constructive feedback: The warm lighting from lamps in bedrooms and on external would provide a lovely atmosphere if they were applied in family areas. The dim, white lights were not preferable for this particular family, however many others may not feel as effected by such trivial effects.

Went with a group of families and the manager and staff helped us in every way. Beautiful and well maintained grounds with lots of activities for the kids. Cabins were clean and very comfortable. BBQ facilities and pool area meant we could really enjoy our time as a group. Planning our next trip already!

Beautiful location, very quiet no traffic noise. Clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful with local knowledge on best places to visit. Lovely gas fire to warm you up if weather cold. Short car journey to lookouts and to Blackheath town centre.

Winter is the best time to visit with a wood fire inside the tree house and a spa bath built for two.

Amazing bubbly service from Jess & the team. Firewood was plentiful for those cold nights. Very clean accommodation in Possums hideaway & a perfect place for couples.

This place is a lot more than we anticipated. Lovely young lady at reception. Very welcoming good knowledge off local bushwalking and waterfalls. Our room absolutely perfect.

Absolutely beautiful, definitely recommend the possum hideaway to any couple interested. All Staff were so kind and friendly which definitely made our stay all the more amazing.

The indoor pool kept my kids busy! The location and surrounding walks/lookouts were great. Place was beautiful!

Our family had the most memorable and amazing time! The cottage was super clean and very spacious. The Gardens was breathtaking and so beautiful! Very calm and relaxing. Jess our host is super friendly and just incredible! We were so thrilled with all the activities on offer like the, Marshall roasting and playing outdoor games with the family :) We can't wait to return back very soon!

We had a fabulous extended family get away at this spacious property The facilities were wonderful for our family, we loved the games room, tennis, fire pit, indoor heated pool and large chess. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Amazing location with beautiful environment. Campfire facility, swimming pool and barbecue area with badminton court will make you entertain for your stay. A bag of free marshmallow was highlight of the night!

Everything the possums hideaway is just the best, from the fire to the spa just loved every minute here. The customer service is outstanding anything you needed or requested was done.

We just had a wonderful 3 days staying at federation gardens in a pine cottage. Our 3 kids (and ourselves) had the best time Playing tennis, chess, Pokémon hunting around the grounds and enjoying the fire pit every night. The manager Jess was kind and helpful. Such a great place to enjoy the mountains and all it has to offer. We will be back.

My husband & I just spent 4 days here on a mini honeymoon. It was the perfect secluded getaway. The cabin was clean with modern features yet a hint of rustic touch, spectacular views of bushland & the staff were friendly & knowledgeable. The perfect location for a romantic getaway.

Just a warm, peaceful and relaxing environment. You get to feel like one with nature. I have been 4 times with my husband and with my daughters on separate occasions. Extremely clean, you can smell it in the fresh air. It has all you need. The amenities entertain all ages. Kindly thanking the friendly staff.

Me and my husband had the pleasure of staying here last night! It is a gorgeous place! We stayed in the possums hideout and it was hands down the most enjoyable experience we have had in a long time. Romantic and serene what more could you ask for? We definitely will be returning with our kids next time for a longer stay! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE.

Just spent the weekend staying here and what a weekend it was.
It was great to be back in the mountains with family.
This place has great accommodation and facilities.
Played some tennis, went for a swim, got my morning coffee down the road in Blackheath and got to explore some more of the beautiful Blue Mountains.
Highly recommended!

Stayed here in November for a weekend in the Possum cabin No 3.
Room was very nice, could have done with Air con or Ceiling fan, and a BBQ on the balcony wouldn't have gone astray.
Fireplace was lovely, and being right on edge of National park of Blue Mountains was beautiful.
Jess the Manager is a real asset to the business, will help with anything you need.
Don't forget to grab a brekkie pack for just $25 it's well worth it.

Great location, and great with kids.

My partner and I stayed with out 11mth old in the Laurel Cabin. Every thing was so clean and tidy. The amenities were great, especially the heated pool for our little one. On arrival Joanna and Jess were super friendly and helpful, they advised us of what was on in the area and best pick restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed with our 2yo and 1yo kids and loved it! The cabins are set within a garden setting well away from any main roads and our 2yo loved just exploring the grounds, even on a rainy day. She loved the little cubby house, swings and games room which had lots of little things for her to do. The swimming pool was also a huge bonus, as was the fire pit for toasting marshmallows!
Jess, the manager, also could not have been more helpful both before and during our stay, giving so much advice of places to go with the kids and helping to come up with some rainy day suggestions. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Jess and team.

Booked 8 cottages and had a fantasy time. There was something for everyone to do from kids to grown ups. Fire pit was the best.

This place is amazing… we had a big family get together with room for everyone. Kids had a ball with the tennis court, massive chest set & large grounds. Rooms are comfy and cozy warm in winter with the gas fireplaces. Highly recommend! Thanks again Jess & team. We’ll be back again soon.

Lovely cabins, lovely setting and perfect for families with lots to do for the kids. And the staff were so friendly and go out of their way to help you out. We will stay again and can highly recommend.

We stayed here over the weekend and at $295 a night I find it so over priced and over rated, you get more condiments in a motel room for less price, also for the price you pay you have to wash your own dishes up and take out your rubbish, room was not refreshed over our stay.

Stayed for three nights after a quick decision getaway from Adelaide SA. Impressed was a understatement. My partner and I were looking for some much needed us time after a crazy start to the year and Possums Hideaway did that plus more. Every detail down to the wood fire being lit in our little tree house for us to come home to a warm room! Perfect for families or couples, the campfire at night was a real treat! Absolutely incredible place that gave us the little boost we needed to get through the next few months. Robyn and Mark we appreciate everything you did more then you will ever know! We can't wait to get back there under better circumstances to explore more and eat more marshmallows by the fire…

This is the second time we have stayed here, we forgot how much we love the place. We wish we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was very clean, fire was on and marshmallows where left to use in the fire pit, was a very nice touch. The pool was a great temperature we swam both days and had a great game of tennis. The kiddies loved the space. It was nice to be away from the dense tourist areas. We are look to come back over Easter if there is space.! Thanks for a great time.

We had a great time staying in one of the Linden Lodges on the weekend. Perfect for our kids (5 and 7) to use the pool, games equipment and outdoor space. As a family we loved the fire, roasting marshmallows and playing some very bad tennis together! Nice and close to many walks including the Walls Cave walk which was a nice new find. Looking forward to returning.

Love this place… Have stayed in all the different accommodation and they are all fantastic. This weekend I brought my Mum, sisters, niece and daughter and we stayed in the big cottage. It was so nice and we were able to cook all our own meals and sit around the fire and keep nice and warm… Everyone loved their bedrooms and we had so much room… I think they will be spreading the word about this wonderful place. Thanks to the management Team Neil and Julie and to the owners Robyn and Mark you have a gem of a place. I will be back… again…

We really enjoyed our stay, comfortable cabin. Stayed in cabin 4 and it was very clean. Heater was on for us when we arrived which was very nice since it was so cold. Kids enjoyed going in the pool. The only negative is the kids beds were not comfortable, could feel the springs in the mattress. When we went to check out, my 6 yr old told the lady that his bed wasn't comfortable and she said to him that he needs to toughen up. If we wanted to toughen up we would of gone camping. Everything was super clean. I would stay again and would highly recommend.

Great location. Excellent facilities. Lovely rooms. The pool could have been hotter for a heated pool but the kids liked it none the less.

I stayed 2 nights in the 5 bedroom cottage with my children and grandchildren (5 adults 3 kids 15, 13 & 8). It was ideal for our needs. The kids had a great time, enjoying the pool as well as as the tennis court. The house was well appointed, having all we needed and plenty of room. Cosy clean and spacious. Well equipped bbq area. And the firepit… safe, with complimentary marshmallows… good for socialising with other guests too! Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Cosy and comfortable accommodation with everything you could need whilst staying. Ipen grassy areas for play including sporting and games equipment. A lovely fire pit that was just the thing for our winter stay.

During our June stay it was very calm and almost empty. Everything has been quite nice. Only complaint is that the pool is not heated at this time.

We have just returned from a three day trip to the mountains and were most impressed with Possums Hideaway. We arrived with our two young sons who are 9 and 7 and their eyes lit up when they saw all the wonderful facilities available to them. We stayed in the beautiful Linden Cottage, which was warm and welcoming. What a wonderful place for families to stay and enjoy the serenity of the mountains. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips and our energetic boys enjoyed swimming, playing tennis and having a large area to run and play. A family favourite was definitely roasting marshmellows after a long day bushwalking and seeing the sights! Thank you Possums Hideaway… a hidden gem. We shall definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed at Possums Hideaway for a romantic midweek getaway and it was just perfect in every way! Our secluded couples cabin was awesome. We so enjoyed sitting by the fire, the amazing spa tub, and sitting on the deck drinking hot coco and watching a lyre bird forage for food. They really have all the perfect little details to make your stay romantic, lots of candles and heart shaped chocolates and plenty of wood and kindling to keep the fire going. The heated pool was also great! Each cabin even has a possum box and food for it if it comes around! We couldn't be more happy with our stay and we will definitely be coming back.

As a busy mum, I recently had the opportunity to stay in a Possums Hideaway Cabin for a weekend and have some much needed time for myself. I had the most amazing experience. From the minute I walked in to my private, cosy cabin I felt instantly relaxed. The setting was so calming, peaceful and serene. The property is so gorgeous to walk around and I had the advantage of being surrounded by Autumn beauty as well. This is definitely the place to go if you need a weekend escape. I would highly recommend Federation Gardens and Possum Hideaway.

Good price and room condition is good as well. Not just a cabin, no wind did not come to the room, and firewall is impressive! But be sure to know the recieption open time!

My husband and I enjoyed 2 lovely nights at Possums Hideaway very recently. We loved the seclusion and the location. The cabin was romantic and beautifully appointed. Fantastic place to stay/weekend getaway. Cabins have everything you need to enjoy your stay in style and comfort. Plenty of fun to have with the tennis court, indoor pool, BBQ and everything else the Blue Mountains has to offer. Highly recommend it!

Very clean, and good value. Location is great very close to Evan's lookout, cottages are spacious. Would return anytime.

We have stayed at Federation Gardens a few times and always enjoy ourselves. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it is the perfect place to go as a group. We generally have three or four families with us and there is plenty to do for the kids and the parents can relax and take it easy.

My wife and I recently stayed at Possums Hideaway and had the time of our lives! What an escape! Super relaxing, great location, awesome facilities on site. The 24/7 heated pool was the highlight!
