Wow! What an amazing experience! The property, the grounds, the service, and the location are truly exceptional. I highly recommend a stay at Yangaro. It strikes the perfect balance of exclusivity, privacy, and luxury. The spa and clubhouse amenities elevate the experience even further. The design and finish of the villa we stayed in (Cerulean) are simply breathtaking—high quality throughout, warm, and inviting.

Luxury and Tranquility at Yangaro, Funnel Bay.
I recently stayed three nights at Yangaro, in the stunning Cerulean beachfront house, and the experience exceeded all expectations. With sweeping views over Funnel Bay, a 21-metre private pool, and seamless indoor-outdoor living, Cerulean offered the perfect mix of luxury, space, and serenity. Each of the six ensuite bedrooms was beautifully designed, creating an ideal setting for a group stay with plenty of privacy.
The facilities at Yangaro are exceptional — from the beautifully appointed clubhouse and function studio to the peaceful grounds, everything is designed to help you unwind. As part of a retreat, I loved the variety of experiences on offer: an energising HIIT session to start the day, time to relax with thermal therapies or a spa treatment, and a deeply calming yoga, meditation, and sound healing session to finish. The food throughout the day was fresh, nourishing, and beautifully presented.
Yangaro is truly a haven for relaxation, connection, and celebration. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave — and one I can’t wait to return to.

Incredible Wellness Retreat at Cerulean, Yangaro.
We recently stayed at Cerulean Villa in Yangaro for a health retreat, and it was perfect. From the moment the Yangaro Gates opened, you knew you were entering a special place. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. Cerulean has six stunning bedrooms, each with its own ensuite—ideal for group travel. The heated swimming pool and panoramic views were spectacular.
Our group took part in a health retreat that kicked off with an energizing HIIT session, followed by heat therapy, and healing sound therapy and yoga. It was truly amazing and left me feeling incredibly refreshed and happy.
Yangaro provided the perfect setting for our health retreat, combining luxury with tranquility. We left feeling refreshed, balanced, and deeply grateful for the experience. We can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at this villa was nothing short of exceptional. The accommodation was pure luxury-spacious, beautifully styled and thoughtfully appointed with every comfort you could imagine. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed.

What made our stay even more special was the incredible immersion retreat experience. It was the ultimate reset-physically, mentally and emotionally.

Bed Bugs***
My family and I were very excited to stayed at Yangaro in January for the first time. We stayed in the Aqua House for 9 days.
After a couple of days we started waking up every morning with small itchy red bites.
We arrived home and continued being bitten. A pest control company came out and confirmed we had indeed brought bed bugs back with us. I contacted Yangaro straight away to let them know however they denied it being a possibility. It took over six weeks to rid our house of the infestation. Our bedrooms had to be completely emptied of contents and sprayed three times to a cost of $1400; hundreds of dollars spent on dry cleaning and purchasing new blankets, pillows and quilts; ridiculously expensive water bills due to washing every piece of clothing and soft furnishings in each bedroom.
We won’t return to Yangaro and I am unsure if the house we stayed in was treated for the infestation or not. I didn’t ask for compensation and wasn’t expecting anything from Yangaro other than an acknowledgement that they would investigate and treat the Aqua house. We were disappointed that no responsibility was taken by Yangaro.
Beware and if any small, itchy bites should appear, pack your clothes in plastic bags and leave!

The wow factor started after the gates opened and got better and better as we walked through the hallway, into the living area into the bedrooms.
All kitchen gadgets were top notch, the views incredible and the staff very friendly and professional. Will definitely recommend this place for big groups and families who want to enjoy an amazing experience! Definitely the best accommodation in Airlie!

From the moment we entered through the front gates, we were blown away by Yangaro. We stayed in the Cerulean house, and it was unbelievable! The water feature in the foyer immediately set the tone for the luxury experience ahead. The house had it all – a heated pool, massive rooms equipped with everything we needed, and the most breathtaking ocean views. The shared spaces were beautifully designed and so functional, perfect for spending quality time together. Plus, the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped. The spa treatment was incredible and just added to the relaxation we felt throughout our stay. We absolutely loved everything about our stay – Yangaro is a true paradise!

My partner and I had the most magical few days at Yangaro Resort, we stayed in the Sapphire Villa and we were genuinely amazed by how spacious and luxurious the villa was, with so much attention to detail! We loved the wellness centre, especially the well-equipped gym, sauna, steam room and cold plunge. The best part though was soaking up the view from our villa — we never wanted to leave!
