From the moment we walked into Yangaro, we knew our experience here was going to memorable. Every little detail has been thought of prior to our arrival, even down to our preferred style of milk for coffee in the morning. Our villa had it's own pool and enormous kitchen and sitting area, in addition to our own private room and ensuite. So we were able to truly relax and enjoy time together as a group, as well as privately. The catering was delicious and perfectely curated to match the tropical experience. And the clubhouse was truly next level! The experience of steam room, sauna, cold plunge, followed by a relaxing swim and spa, all surrounded in the beauty of the nature in the Whitsundays was a once in a lifetime unforgettable expedrience. We absolutely loved our time at Yangaro and will be recommending to it our wedding couples.

I’ve had the pleasure of hosting two women’s yoga retreats at Yangaro, with a third already on the way, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the experience.
The location is breathtaking — peaceful, private, beautifully designed, and surrounded by the kind of natural beauty that immediately helps people exhale.
The villas are stunning: modern, spacious, beautifully appointed, and immaculately clean. Every detail feels considered, from the architecture to the bedrooms, the shared spaces, the pool, the grounds, and the spa amenities.
But what makes Yangaro truly special is the people behind it.
As a retreat facilitator, I know that even in the most beautifully planned weekend, little things will inevitably arise. What stood out to me was how calmly, kindly, and efficiently the team responded to anything we needed. Leah has been an incredible support throughout the planning and hosting process, and Maria was equally wonderful on the ground — quietly noticing what was needed and resolving things before I’d even had the chance to properly thank her.
Whether it was helping with small practical details, responding quickly to unexpected issues, or simply making sure the whole experience felt smooth and supported, the care from the Yangaro team was exceptional.
My guests also spoke very highly of the spa treatments, which added another beautiful layer to the retreat experience.

I absolutely loved my stay at Yangaro Resort in Airlie Beach. I stayed in the Indigo Villa with two friends and it was the perfect mix of luxury and relaxation. The villa was beautifully designed, high quality, and had everything we needed for a comfortable, peaceful stay.
From the stunning views to the seamless indoor-outdoor living and private pool everything felt thoughtfully done and effortless. It was such a relaxing escape and the ideal place to unwind with friends.

Everything exceeded my expectations from the location with views of sunsets and water, to the design of the villa and all of the facilities and experiences you could imagine, fitness studio, sauna, plunge pool, Every detail has been thought of and we can’t forget to mention the beautiful team who provided wonderful service.

What a place! From the first-class décor and beautifully appointed rooms to the breathtaking aesthetics, every detail of this destination is absolutely stunning. Everything about the experience felt luxurious — from the incredible food and spectacular views to the pools, crisp sheets, and expansive open living spaces with soaring ceilings and beautifully wide corridors.
The spa was incredibly calming, with a serene Balinese-inspired atmosphere, and without a doubt the best massage I’ve ever had — I genuinely felt like I was floating on a cloud afterwards.
The saddest part of the stay was having to leave. I’ll absolutely be back.

4 days I spent in Yangaro and what an experience. Everythin you wanted was there. The Villas were extremely clean and comfortable. Would absolutely go again.

We were fortunate enough to stay at Cerulean for 3 nights through the end of June. Our family used this trip as a little mid year recharge ahead of a busy second half of the year.
Yangaro was hands down the best accommodation we have stayed at in a long time. The villas are exquisite and have every amenity you could want in self contained accom. And the fact you have your own private beach to wake up to is the icing on the cake. Will be highly recommending to all friends looking to travel to northern QLD.

Luxury and Tranquility at Yangaro, Funnel Bay.
I recently stayed three nights at Yangaro, in the stunning Cerulean beachfront house, and the experience exceeded all expectations. With sweeping views over Funnel Bay, a 21-metre private pool, and seamless indoor-outdoor living, Cerulean offered the perfect mix of luxury, space, and serenity. Each of the six ensuite bedrooms was beautifully designed, creating an ideal setting for a group stay with plenty of privacy.
The facilities at Yangaro are exceptional — from the beautifully appointed clubhouse and function studio to the peaceful grounds, everything is designed to help you unwind. As part of a retreat, I loved the variety of experiences on offer: an energising HIIT session to start the day, time to relax with thermal therapies or a spa treatment, and a deeply calming yoga, meditation, and sound healing session to finish. The food throughout the day was fresh, nourishing, and beautifully presented.
Yangaro is truly a haven for relaxation, connection, and celebration. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave — and one I can’t wait to return to.

Incredible Wellness Retreat at Cerulean, Yangaro.
We recently stayed at Cerulean Villa in Yangaro for a health retreat, and it was perfect. From the moment the Yangaro Gates opened, you knew you were entering a special place. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. Cerulean has six stunning bedrooms, each with its own ensuite—ideal for group travel. The heated swimming pool and panoramic views were spectacular.
Our group took part in a health retreat that kicked off with an energizing HIIT session, followed by heat therapy, and healing sound therapy and yoga. It was truly amazing and left me feeling incredibly refreshed and happy.
Yangaro provided the perfect setting for our health retreat, combining luxury with tranquility. We left feeling refreshed, balanced, and deeply grateful for the experience. We can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at this villa was nothing short of exceptional. The accommodation was pure luxury-spacious, beautifully styled and thoughtfully appointed with every comfort you could imagine. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed.

Bed Bugs***
My family and I were very excited to stayed at Yangaro in January for the first time. We stayed in the Aqua House for 9 days.
After a couple of days we started waking up every morning with small itchy red bites.
We arrived home and continued being bitten. A pest control company came out and confirmed we had indeed brought bed bugs back with us. I contacted Yangaro straight away to let them know however they denied it being a possibility. It took over six weeks to rid our house of the infestation. Our bedrooms had to be completely emptied of contents and sprayed three times to a cost of $1400; hundreds of dollars spent on dry cleaning and purchasing new blankets, pillows and quilts; ridiculously expensive water bills due to washing every piece of clothing and soft furnishings in each bedroom.
We won’t return to Yangaro and I am unsure if the house we stayed in was treated for the infestation or not. I didn’t ask for compensation and wasn’t expecting anything from Yangaro other than an acknowledgement that they would investigate and treat the Aqua house. We were disappointed that no responsibility was taken by Yangaro.
Beware and if any small, itchy bites should appear, pack your clothes in plastic bags and leave!

The wow factor started after the gates opened and got better and better as we walked through the hallway, into the living area into the bedrooms.
All kitchen gadgets were top notch, the views incredible and the staff very friendly and professional. Will definitely recommend this place for big groups and families who want to enjoy an amazing experience! Definitely the best accommodation in Airlie!

From the moment we entered through the front gates, we were blown away by Yangaro. We stayed in the Cerulean house, and it was unbelievable! The water feature in the foyer immediately set the tone for the luxury experience ahead. The house had it all – a heated pool, massive rooms equipped with everything we needed, and the most breathtaking ocean views. The shared spaces were beautifully designed and so functional, perfect for spending quality time together. Plus, the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped. The spa treatment was incredible and just added to the relaxation we felt throughout our stay. We absolutely loved everything about our stay – Yangaro is a true paradise!

My partner and I had the most magical few days at Yangaro Resort, we stayed in the Sapphire Villa and we were genuinely amazed by how spacious and luxurious the villa was, with so much attention to detail! We loved the wellness centre, especially the well-equipped gym, sauna, steam room and cold plunge. The best part though was soaking up the view from our villa — we never wanted to leave!
