Eagle Aruba Resort

Our group of 7 had a wonderful time staying at the resort. Our suite overlooked the waterfall pool area where we spent most of the day and late afternoons during 'happy hours'. Each person we encountered greeted us with 'bon dia' and a smile. It was a short walk across the property to the famous Eagle Beach and a walk north to the famous Fofoi trees on the beach.
The one thing that I would like to note to the management team on site, is that the hot water in both the kitchen (no cold water) and bathroom was VERY VERY hot and unsafe to the point of scalding my hands.

A wonderful spot to enjoy the entire island from. Rooms come with full kitchens and super market across the street. Great beach location: a very short walk there. Three pools, 2 restaurants. We go back every year for our time in the sun. Service is exceptional.

The hotel seemed to be having an issue with their hot water. Our unit had no hot water the entire stay and no running water, hot or cold, in the shower. We were unable to shower. Our unit wasn’t the only affected unit.

I have been here 3 times over the last 15 years. Due to changing ownership over those years the experience has declined. Service is friendly but if there is an issue with our room the response time (if any…) was poor. We had three issues and one of which we called twice and were told someone would be up which never happened. The first night something was wrong with our door which was causing the door to not open. We had to get maitenance involved 3 times to assist. We finally got in (after a long day of delayed flights and traveling) and after unpacking we received a call we were not able to stay in the room that night, probably for security reasons, and needed to be moved to a suite which had a mold problem. Really musty (a well known problem in this climate) and I was honestly afraid for my health to be in there. Once we got back into our room the next day, which was a regular room, we were much happier. The last 3 days of our trip there was no hot water from a busted pipe which I know is totally out of their control but was a bummer. Pool is clean and nice environment to relax in. Message place was great. Great location only a short walk to the beach. The cleaning of the room could have been better for the floors. Security roaming at all times and is very safe. Plenty of activities to attend if interested. Seems like a great place for kids as they have a kid pool and an adult pool at opposite ends of the resort.

We loved our vacation in Aruba and staying at the Eagle Aruba Resort. You have access to the beach with dedicated sections to reserve your spot (hint get in early during holiday season). Eagle beach is great as it is much quieter and less populated than Palm beach and only a 10 min drive to palm beach.
For restaurants. The resort had few pools, hot tub and restaurants for quick bites. The rooms are also equipped with kitchenette, great for families. Overall we loved the beach, convenience of the resort, water activities and safe/friendly Aruba island.

Totally not recommending!
We have stayed at this hotel about 6–7 times, and for the last five years we have been coming every year. However, I thought that our stay in November would be our last one here. Unfortunately, the hotel now really needs renovation and better maintenance.
This time we were placed in rooms further away, and there was a thick layer of dust on the blinds. It wasn’t just “a week without cleaning” dust – it felt like no one had wiped them at all for a very long time. We informed the reception about this every day during our stay. Every day we were told that someone would come and take care of it, but no one ever came and nothing was cleaned.
The sofa mattress was in terrible condition – covered in stains and marks – and it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Some of the furniture also had mold on it, which is completely unacceptable.
In all the years we have been visiting this hotel, I have never seen them renovate or update anything, except for the restroom near the pool. It’s very disappointing, especially for loyal guests who used to really like staying here.

Eagle Aruba Resort turned out to be a really nice place to stay. It’s not super fancy, but it’s clean, comfortable, and has a relaxed vibe that fits the island perfectly. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, which made the stay even better.
I didn’t use the beach or pool, but the outdoor jacuzzi was a lifesaver for my back pain, it worked wonders. Overall, it’s a good spot to unwind and enjoy some quiet time in Aruba. I’d definitely stay here again.

We came for a sisters trip and had the best time! The staff is so incredibly welcoming and sweet to you from the moment you arrive until departure. Papi at the bar is so fun and Pablo the bell captain will help you with anything you need. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The well to the beach is so short and the superfoods across the street lies so convenient. We had such a great trip! Thank you 🙏🏼🫶🏻🙌🏼

Positive: The waterfall pool is great. Live entertaiment or DJ every evening was enjoyable. Negative: The usual pathway to the beach through La Cabana Hotel was closed due to that property's ongong renovation so no access to foot wash. If you are planning to come within the next month or two suggest bring baby or talc powder to help remove it.

This resort was good value for the money paid, considering how crazy expensive everything in Aruba is. The rooms aren't super modern but have everything you need, including little kitchens and dishes, etc if you want to buy groceries and make your own meals (which we did quite a bit). Resort is very well maintained, organized and clean. I was impressed how well they cleaned the barbecues every day (plenty of grills to reserve if you want to bbq). Walk to the amazing Eagle Beach is quick so location is great. Staff was pretty friendly. Pools were fantastic. Kids waterslide was perfect. Some stuff to work on: for the only restaurant on the resort, I found Uncle Tony's overpriced and limited in selection. Our phones in the room didnt work for our whole stay even though I told them multiple times it was down. Entertainment was okay but kind of the same thing every night (bands/singers) ; no themes or shows for families, etc. Their weekly Carribean night was a huge waste of money in my mind ($40+ for a small buffet). Overall, though, this resort is a good option on the more affordable side, perfectly located with all you need for a smooth stay.

This place punches above its weight. Great location at eagle beach. Nice pools and pool bar with live music. Rooms are older but spacious and super clean. Free beach chairs. Our room was quiet even though we were next to the main road.

Condo was great. Wonderful location. Pool is pretty. Staff are really nice. Pablo Hoyos has been there for years. He remembers us and makes us feel like returning family. Travis is also really fun and great with the kids. The beach is the best!

We said we'd be back and we sure did! They're very accommodating. A lot of activities to do inside the resort from pool bingo which can win you food, drinks and others. Making T-shirts, key chains and bracelets with adults and kids a like.
They have some night shows and bazaar, it keeps you busy and fully immersed with the island vibes.
The resort is 1 block away from the beach which offers palapas hut as a shade (get there early) and the beach attendants will set your chairs up.
Our Bell captain Pablo Hoyos and his team were always helpful from driving us to the beach, when we can just walk or hailing a taxi to go to different areas of the island.
They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and buy 1 get 1 drinks during happy hour inside the resort. Look for Ronaldo, he will serve you some good drinks!
Double down restaurant is next to the resort which offers some good meals and drinks which again is a buy 1 get 1 drinks during happy hour and half priced on some as well.
The staff from the front desk to guards and room attendants were friendly and helpful. They kept our room daily stocked with fresh towels and made our bed.
The supermarket — Super food is 1 block, walking distance. The resort offers very clean grills to use for the meats purchased at the supermarket.
The casino is across the resort which also have some great stores and gelateria which is a must every night.

Staff are incredibly friendly, family oriented, lots of hotel activities, decent location, rooms are mostly clean but strong disinfectant smell. TV didn't work, phone didn't work. But it's a good place to stay on a budget.

We have been owners at Eagle Aruba for over 10 years and I have to say that the service has gotten worse over the years. Like another review said, the ladies at the front desk are not friendly and act like they are doing you a favor by attending to you. The room was dusty and dirty, sand and hair in the showers, carpet not vacuumed, nail clippings on the carpet, floor not swept, hair in clumps behind the doors, urine on the base of the toilet commodes and dried on the outside of the toilets, dried up food and fingerprints on the outside of the fridge and kitchen cabinets, water marks on the glass bedside tables…. Just disgusting! I called for the housekeeping service to come back to finish cleaning and they took forever and the cleaning lady had a horrible attitude. I eventually had to clean the entire room before we could unpack.
The positives-the bellhop staff, managed by Pablo, is wonderful! Friendly, responsive, and helpful! The hotel is a short walk away from Eagle Beach which is beautiful! And the food at the only restaurant, Uncle Tony’s, is ok and the wait staff is friendly. Food takes a little long to arrive but you’re on vacation and things move slower on an island. The restaurant next door at LaCabana is better. The Wi-Fi is so much better than our previous visits and there have been some nice construction upgrades like the lobby, public restrooms and the pools. I do miss the bar at what is now the kiddie pool.

Overall the resort was nice and I would recommend. The bell captain Pablo was really great and friendly about helping us out with our luggage when we arrived and also leaving. Best part of our stay was the live music at the adult pool almost every day and uncle Tony's restaurant.

Large rooms, clean, comfy beds. Decent gym. Pools clean, never had to reserve pool chairs. Pool music during happy hour can be obnoxious at times, otherwise we really enjoyed this resort.
This was my 3rd time visiting. Location is close to some great dining options. Easy cab ride to Palm Beach.
