Reviews of Perle D'or Aruba
Perle d’Or in Aruba was a bit of a mixed experience. The location is great if you’re up for some walking — it’s central enough to get to a lot of places. However, if you’re booking based on the listed amenities, don’t believe them. There’s no restaurant, no parking lot, no shuttle, and no on-site staff like they advertise.
That said, they do have housekeeping, and Irma, the one and only housekeeper, is an absolute gem. She was easily the best part of the stay. They also offer laundry service for $14 per load, which felt pricey but hey, it’s Aruba.
The rooms are very basic. No microwave, tiny bathroom sinks (good luck washing your face without splashing everywhere), and very few extras. On the positive side, the beds were amazing and the sheets were some of the softest I’ve ever slept on. The pool was nice too, but don’t expect pool towels — you’ll be using your room towel.
Overall, it was fine for what it was, but definitely go in with realistic expectations. You get more at a hotel — think of this as a “motel” and you won’t be disappointed.
Good place to crash for a few days. Old rooms but welll equipped, clean pool, very kind cleaning lady, gave good tips about the city. Didn't got the TV's remote but it was no real issue.

Everything was perfect FOR ME! Number 1 as a single woman traveling alone I felt safe there were security cameras on site and the gate remained locked at all times! Number 2 — I felt comfortable! Number 3 — I felt welcomed! I have stayed in the all inclusive resorts on Palm Beach, but I would pick Perle d’Or City Apartments again and again! I enjoyed the architecture, the pool, and the peacefulness of the property. Irma and Zulaika are absolutely the best! From My Personal Perspective this was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to stay there again! Everyone’s opinions are different but your time there will be what you make it so make it amazing! Also, the bedding was so comfortable I loved the white linen and blanket! The room was very spacious! The shower was nice and hot! Plenty of parking! So many cute spots for photo ops! There is so much hidden beauty in the place! Absolutely exceeded my expectations!
