Aruba Sunset Beach Studios

We have stayed at Aruba Sunset Studios for 4 years. We always enjoy our stay. The employees are so friendly and helpful, the grounds are immaculate, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We love this location for a quiet get away but it’s easy to get to beaches and restaurants. We highly recommend you rent a car.

We had the most amazing stay at Sunset Beach Studios! It was a big highlight of our trip to Aruba. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The villa and the grounds themselves were just beautiful and we loved all the details thought of to make our stay extra special! The studios are in a great location for some tranquility and loved that the ocean and snorkeling spots are just across the street! Our stay far exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return!

Such a cute place away from the hustle of the high rise strip but close enough to walk. Right across the street is the beach. It is quite rocky directly across the way so walking either north or south some to find a sandy spot is ideal. The vibe is tranquil and the people are lovely. They greeted us with a nice cold drink when we arrived for check in and then graciously allowed us to stay for a very late check out since our flight wasn't until 6pm! They have beach chairs and snorkel gear to rent for $5 if you need and they provide a cooler in the room you can take with you! We loved sipping our coffee/tea in the morning while watching the kite boarders and boats go by. We went for kite boarding lessons multiple days and it was very conveniently located near the kite surf Beach. I would recommend getting a car if you don't enjoy walking. The bus was also really easy when we wanted to take a trip downtown. Overall it was a lovely place to stay!

As repeat visitors, we cannot say enough about Aruba Sunset Beach Studios. The suites are well-equipped, comfortable and lovely, while the gardens surrounding the suites are beautiful, lush and home to various fascinating creatures. The pool, hot tub and gazebo are perfect for relaxation. We had a grocery delivery the day of our arrival, and everything was put into our studio, ready for us. We rented chairs to take to the beach. There is a terrific book in each studio that gives you all the information you could need about Aruba! They provide grocery bags for you to use, as well. Keeping your valuables secure is easy, with a safe in each room. The grill in the courtyard is great if you want to cook your own meals. We had two loads of laundry done for us, which always makes travelling with only a carryon easier. The studio is a comfortable walking distance to Arashi Beach and Palm Beach. All of these features and amenities are fabulous, but it is the people that bring it all together. This is a family owned business, and every single person makes you feel like you are at home. From housekeeping to the office staff, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay exceeds your expectations. Aruba Sunset Beach Studios is so much more than a place to lay your head. It is a feeling, and one that you want to experience over and over again. Thank you for sharing your oasis with all of us!

Sunset Beach Studios in Aruba was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They went above and beyond by setting up special decorations for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch.
The location is perfect — the ocean is right across the street, making it easy to enjoy beautiful views and beach time any time of day. The property itself is clean, comfortable, and relaxing, with a lovely pool that was great for unwinding after a day of exploring the island.
If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming, personal, and well-located, Sunset Beach Studios is a fantastic choice. We truly felt cared for and would absolutely stay here again. 🌴💙

Sunset Beach Studio is a wonderful place to stay. It has a great location, and the ocean beach is just across the street.
I would like to give special thanks to Mike and his family for taking such great care of us. Mike took us grocery shopping and helped me find bus stations, the island loop tour, and boat tours. His sister-in-law kindly drove us to the downtown area, and even though I tried to give her a tip, she refused to take it.
They truly treated us like family. Because of Mike and his family, our stay here was warm, comfortable, and unforgettable. This vacation will always be a special memory in my life.

We've stayed at ASBS three times now and we've been ALL over the Caribbean; this is the place we keep returning to. We'll be back, wouldn't stay anywhere else. Studio condos are spotless, well maintained, warm and friendly staff, family run, cooking facilities including two shared barbecues. Location is 1 km walk from Palm Beach on a boardwalk along the sea with smaller beaches even closer, all with great snorkeling. The westerly views of the sunsets over the sea are absolutely stunning! What everyone else says here, we wholeheartedly agree that THIS is a wonderful accommodation away from the crowds. Everything is right here and we can easily entertain ourselves right at ASBS or within a quick walk down the beach if we so choose. Such a relaxing two weeks. Until next time…

This is the most amazing beachside boutique studio hotel. The staff is extremely kind, helpful and attentive. The rooms are spacious and beautiful with kitchenettes and full size refrigerators. The grounds and pool are tropical and squeaky clean. It's on a quiet part of the island and near some really great beaches. I cried when I had to leave Aruba Sunset Studios and can't say enough great things about this place.

This was our second stay at the delightful Sunset Beach, and as before we were warmly welcomed by 'the regulars', so much so that by the end of our trip we said our goodbyes (with hugs) to everyone: to leave abruptly just seemed rude!
Sunset happy hour across the road is such an institution that former guests drive over to join in. We felt guilty on the nights we had other plans!
But what we appreciated the most was the kindness of the staff, who generously let us back in to our studio the night we locked the keys inside, shared first aid supplies for sunburns, trusted us to return the borrowed books from their library, and supplied some much needed beach chairs.
Oh, and special mention to Tiger and RJ the well cared for resident cats. These handsome fellows like lots of pats (when applied correctly — they will let you know if you're doing it wrong) and treats (they prefer Temptations).

Aruba Sunset Beach Studios was a wonderful place for us to use as a base camp while we toured the island's many natural wonders. The garden studios were very clean and cozy and the location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They arranged for our car rental, suggested places to eat, and rented snorkeling equipment for our use while we were there. It was perfect for us.

Aruba Sunset Beach Studios is the perfect spot away from the commercial hotel feel. Our Studio (Ocean 2) was accommodated with a good size bathroom with lots of storage space, kitchen area with everything needed if you prefer to have a quiet meal and watch the sunset. Really comfortable bed, 2 nightstands, and kitchen table & chairs. The best of the best is the porch. Perfect spot to watch the amazing sunsets. You can go across the street to watch from the beach, but why? We had the best spot. The Studio is walkable to other beaches, snorkeling, swimming with sea turtles, small grocery, bus stop. If willing to walk approximately 2 miles, you can get the large hotels, marketplace for shopping, white sand beaches. We felt very safe staying 2 weeks with the family run business that helped with suggestions for activities. Tip for the fun things to do: Parasailing Coral Ocean Turtle Snorkeling bus tour, Butterfly Farm and more. Ocean 2 Studio gave us a great view to sit on our porch and watch watersports. We saw many, many beautiful sailboats, people windsurfing, Snorkeling around a shipwreck to see fishes and our favorite parasailing. You can meet other guest from all around because people are so friendly here at this Happy Island!

I had a great stay at Sunset Beach Studios in Aruba! It’s perfectly located — close enough to the main resort and restaurant area (about a 20-minute walk) but far enough to feel quiet and relaxed. The beach and sunsets are just across the street, and the pool area is beautiful, especially at night surrounded by lush greenery.
The folks running the place are friendly and caring from start to finish — even room cleaning was done right away when requested. And, it's also close to the lighthouse and more rugged north coast if you want to explore! Finally — just about right across the street is a sailing meca with kites and sailboards, etc. If you sail you really want to stay here.

This was our 2nd stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios and I hate leaving this review because we feel like this is our hidden gem when we go to Aruba. The location is perfect for us. We rent a car and love to explore and this is our comfy home base when we get back from our adventures. Relaxing, clean and the service is great. The night time walk along the convenient ocean sidewalk was a must after our fun day. Thank you to the whole family and staff at Aruba Sunset Studio.

We loved our stay here! It’s super close access to the beach, we went across the street every evening to watch the sunset, used the pool nightly, made use of the grill, and watched hummingbirds every morning from our patio. Super private and tucked away, felt very “local” and away from the bustle of palm beach (tho we did walk to palm beach one evening which was very doable from our place! ) the front desk is super attentive and helpful, would recommend this place 100%

We loved our stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios and would definitely come back again. We received a very warm welcome from Eve. The room was clean, cozy and very well equipped. There is a beach right across the road. You will need water shoes to swim there (which Aruba Sunset allows you to borrow). While there are nicer beaches elsewhere in Aruba (my favourites being Boca Catalina and Arashi a little up the road), I would recommend visiting the babu wreck to see tons of fish. There is parking right in front.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Aruba Sunset Beach Studios. Eve and the staff were always friendly and helpful! Also, the decor was charming, the kitchen was well-appointed and had everything I needed, and the bed was very comfortable. They even had a reusable grocery bag so you could have a bag to put the groceries in after shopping. The location is amazing … just a little bit north from the high-rise hotel area and right across the street from the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you, Eve and everyone, for a fantastic experience!

Our stay at this Studio in Aruba was simply wonderful — it exceeded all expectations and left us wanting to return as soon as possible!
From the very beginning, we were welcomed with such care and attention. We arrived unprepared regarding the car rental, and the owners kindly helped us sort everything out with ease.
The room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed — and more — which made our evenings even more special. We had such lovely moments dining under the garden lights, enjoying every detail of this charming little place.
