Happy to have spent a few beautiful days in Casa Grande, the most remarkable thing is the human warmth of its owners! A magical place in Merlo. We look forward to repeating the experience, sharing and enjoying.

Casa Grande Hostel does honor to your name, staying there is like staying at home. A plot of one and a half hectare where you can do everything. From barbecue to pool and orchard or lying in a Paraguayan hammock to reading a book and enjoying the fresh air. Merlo is a great option to visit and Casa Grande Hostel is the place where you have to stay!

I've been drinking the place. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can cook. Reasonable prices for drinks and food. Good service, very good breakfast. The private room has no air, in January that is noticeable… Windows without mosquito NET, enters all kinds of insects… The sheets we got were clean but broken with holes. At certain times if there are a lot of people there may be little or no water pressure. The price is not bad for two people. But if you look for there are cabins in the area with better price yet. It can be noisy at night.

Quiet cool Place with lots of park and beautiful pool. Very nice People.

Spent two weeks volunteering there and I can say it was not only easy as a job but the setting is just beyond beautiful! Everyone is so kind and I miss it loads! Would recommend for nature lovers and even if you are not, you will turn into one like I did.

I stayed here last year, February 2016, while I was travelling for 4 months through Argentina. Everybody was so helpful and Colin was so enthusiastic about taking us out on day trips to see some of the beautiful places there. It was very homely and it had a family feel about it which was very comforting for me as I was travelling solo. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to see some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. Would love to return one day. X Muchos Gracias x.
