El Castillo de San Lorenzo is one of my most favorite places in the world! Such a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Sitting outside on the patio under the palms and huge avocado tree feels like something out of a dream! Sometimes there are even toucans! If you visit Salta — you have to visit El Castillo!

I went to lunch with my boyfriend yesterday. All spotless. Exquisite cakes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere, the music, the nature of the raving that surrounds the place and the delicious snack make El Castillo an ideal place to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful place. The service is good but very slow. The menu seemed very reduced to me, plus there were dishes that didn't have them at the time. There was no water in the bathrooms to wash his hands. Meat Sorrentinos are great just like meat pies.

We toured the castle but can not access the building unless you are staying. We were just in the lobby having a coffee that was great, and we toured the grounds. It is very pleasant the geographical place where it is located in the Quebrada de San Lorenzo, surrounded by trees and nature. Next time we will stay to enjoy with more time the castle and the ravine of San Lorenzo.

I heard about this place on the show on the way that airs on channel 13 and like many of Mario Marquich's suggestions, I was not disappointed. It is a castle built in the late nineteenth century that for more than 30 works as a hotel and restaurant. My family and I shared there a rich chocolate with lemon pie. Then a lovely waitress accompanied us to tour two of her rooms. The period furniture, the beautiful view of the landscape from its balconies and old windows next to the sound of the river make this a magical place. Ideal for a romantic getaway.

The place is very nice although very cold. The attention is bad. Ask for toasted and had no meat. So I changed it for croissants and while we were warned that they were going to leave in 20 minutes. We had to go without snacking. Bad experience.

One of the loveliest places to stay in Argentina. John and Maria are wonderful hosts with good attention to details. The rooms in this "Castle" are unique with high ceilings and many with balconies and views of amazing green landscapes. Wake to the sounds of birds. The restaurant on the first floor feels like a movie set from the 40's. Excellent food (try the pachu fish) and wine with great music playing in the background. Service from the staff, particularly Marcello, was impeccable. You have to try the place out.

Charm in the North of Argentina. A Hotel exquisite, full of mystic, located in the middle of the Jungle with a spectacular view to this. Excellent breakfasts and friendly attention. Live something different being here. Recommended 100 %.
