My now husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of June 2022-July 2022. We also had our wedding at this venue. All I can say is that everyone at this hotel are truly amazing; Kim, Brenda, Gillian, Claudius (whom had great dance moves on the wedding night) were all so welcoming and helpful every step of the way when helping to plan and organise our special day. As a bride getting married in a different country I really struggled to hire decorations and equipment. If Brenda hadn't pulled through, I'm sure the wedding would not have gone as smoothly as it did. Thank you all so so much. 🥰🥰🥰😘 The venue itself is beautiful and is very colonial, we stayed in the room 'Royal sovereign' which was spacious and comfortable with A/C (saved our lives). The bathroom was a decent size but was quite dimly lit but did add to the ambiance. We also had a night in the Bridal suite 'Africa' another large 2 storey apartment which had a lovely bed and large living room. Food was delicious, they served a breakfast from 7:30-9:30am (I think… sorry if i'm wrong! ) Which was a choice of three options, banana/pumpkin pancakes, Eggs classic (Full english) and French toast. Each option was delicious and we tended to rotate daily to sample them all. Lunch was served from 12pm-2pm (again please double check as I cannot remember) there were more options for this menu and was also really yummy. However, the person that probably made the breakfast and lunch even more delicious was Petty!
