Frangipani Resort

Another amazing stay at the Frangipani! I've stayed here several times over the years, and I honestly can't imagine staying anywhere else on Anguilla.
The staff are incredibly welcoming and always go out of their way to make you feel at home. The owners are so gracious and you can tell they really care about getting to know their guests. The environment they have created is such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, every time I visit I'm treated like family. The rooms are beautiful, and there is always plenty of room at one of the pools or the beach. I always enjoy my stay, visiting with the staff, owners, and other guests. I'm already looking forward to my next trip back.

I just came back from an amazing stay at Frangipani. It was my first time on the island and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
The beach in front of the resort is probably the best I have ever seen and we ate many meals at the amazing Straw Hat restaurant on site. My wife and I rented a car and explored a bit, the ladies at the front desk were very helpful in setting up reservations and making recommendations. Thank you so much to Juman and the rest of the beach boys, who were always ready helping us with our beach loungers and towels. In all it was an amazing stay — the managers John and Chesney were on site and checked in daily with us. They run an incredible property and we will most definitely be returning.

Frangipani Beach Resort is a true jewel on the incredible island of Anguilla. Set on Mead's Bay, which is a gem of a beach, the staff are warm and welcoming. The food at the Straw Hat was out of this world delicious. The beach is unforgettable. And the rooms spacious and well-appointed. My husband and I had the trip of a lifetime, our first back to this magical island 36 years later! Still the best people around, the Frangipani definitely prides itself on hiring only the most wonderful. It's barefoot elegance done right. I certainly hope we get to visit again and soon.

We were bumped from our hotel (read my other review for info on that) and were lucky enough to spend a night at Frangipani in May. We stayed in the new building and it was fabulous. Luxurious room, beautiful view, and absolutely no complaints. The beach was wonderful and we had no worries about finding a beach chair. Straw Hat is also a great restaurant and super convenient. We would definitely stay again.

My wife and I first visited Frangipani in 2021 before we had kids, and we absolutely loved it—so we were thrilled to return last July with our two children for a 9-day stay. It exceeded our expectations all over again.
We stayed in a one-bedroom ocean view suite, and it was incredible. We had requested a crib for our 7-month-old, and it was already set up when we arrived, which made settling in so easy. The layout was perfect for a family—two full bathrooms (with a washer and dryer) and a kitchen made a huge difference with small kids. Being on the first floor was also ideal since we could walk right out through the sliding doors to the pool and beach. The view was beautiful, and the convenience was unbeatable.
We had breakfast at Straw Hat every morning, and the staff there were consistently kind and accommodating, especially with our kids’ orders. While we didn’t spend a ton of time on the beach at the resort (we enjoy exploring different beaches around the island), we did take full advantage of other amenities.
The Wednesday night cocktail hour was a highlight—we went both weeks. The drinks, snacks, and stunning sunset views made for such a fun and relaxing evening before heading out to dinner.
Another thoughtful touch was the staff offering to drive us short distances in the golf cart so we didn’t always have to use our rental car. One night, they even let our 3-year-old “drive” the golf cart back, which absolutely made his night!

Our third visit was sensational, John welcomed us back with their signature Rum Punch. Also got to meet the newest member to the Mgt Team, Chess y. All the staff went out of their way to assist with all of your needs. Jumon and Vasco attended to your beach and pool needs. The only downfall was the boat wasn’t around for our daughter to ride the tube. But it’ll be back for next visit in 2027.

This was our first trip to Anguilla, and Frangipani was the perfect place for our 9 night visit.
The hotel is located around 2/3rds of the way along Meads Bay (closer to the west end, with Ocean Echo next door, then Savi Beach Club and Four Seasons). Jacala, Blanchard's and Leons are also walkable along the beach towards the east end of the bay. That is of course in addition to the separately-run but on-site Straw Hat restaurant.
We arrived shortly after the 3pm check-in, immediately served at the front desk and given a complementary Rum Punch welcome drink (in Thermos-style vessels, which would prove to be very useful for keeping drinks cool in the sun) whilst our larger bags were taken to our room.
We stayed in a Luxury Ocean View room for the duration of our stay. The bed was very large, there was lots of storage space (drawers and hanging space), a decent size fridge with bottled water included, and a safe. The bathroom had 2 basins and large walk-in shower.
When using the loungers around the pool or beach in front of the hotel, complementary at seat service is available, both food and drinks. The staff both here and inside the restaurant were friendly and efficient.

This is a wonderful, beautiful hotel with an amazing location and wonderful staff. We've been home about 4 days and we miss it. We didn't want for anything. The beach is stunning with beautiful white sand and turquoise water. There are many delicious restaurant choices within reasonable walking distance, and of course, Straw Hat which is attached to Frangipani. We rented a car and went to several other beaches e. G. Shoal Bay, and we found Meads Bay to be the best.

Super relaxing spot right on an absolutely incredible beach. The room we stayed in had a large balcony with a fantastic view of the ocean and everything was very clean. Staff were attentive, welcoming and friendly. This is also fairly central in the "cove" so it's a good spot for walking along the beach to try other places for lunch or dinner (although the Straw Hat in the hotel is extremely good). We would definitely return, phenomenal place. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I can’t say enough great things about Frangipani — but we’ll give it a try!
Anguilla has been a special place for us for almost 15 years, so when we decided to get married this December we immediately knew that Frangipani would be the perfect place to share with our favorite people.
The intimate feeling of the hotel is exactly what we hoped for. There is so much space to relax along the beach and at the pools, but you still feel you are just a few steps away from anything or anyone you need.
The newly constructed rooms are modern luxury with views that feel like you are wearing some kind of AI-enhanced sunglasses.
The staff is exceptional. John and Shanesha were superbly helpful and as we worked through booking the rooms for our guests. Chesney went above and beyond to offer support. Rita took care of us all week, as did the beach team when it came to set-ups and overall hospitality. My husband throughly enjoyed the Hobie Cat sail!
The actual wedding reception was at Straw Hat (will post another rave review for them specifically) but the food throughout the week was a highlight for all of our friends — even those staying at other hotels along Meads Bay.
Overall we can’t recommend this hotel experience any more enthusiastically. You truly feel like you are part of the Frangipani family. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and special and for sharing your big hearts with us all week!

Really great place. Friendly, down-to-earth staff, not stuffy like some of the other high end resorts.
Everything you need is within steps, and when something is a bit further they don’t hesitate to help get you there (sometimes taking you in their own car).
We generally don’t go back to the same place when we travel but I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we come down south.
Everything is set up to relax and enjoy the great beach.

Wow! Our first visit to Frangipani…. And it will definitely not be our last! The property is absolutely gorgeous — a perfect setting right on amazing Meads Bay.
What made this trip even more memorable, was the extraordinary customer service demonstrated by John (property mgr), Chesney and the rest of the resort team. You could not have made us feel more welcome! We were fortunate to stay in one of the property’s newest suites — exceptional floor plan and decor. Beach service was also top notch.
Maybe the best part was our daily, morning greeting by Sunny…John’s beautiful rescue pup.

My wife and I just returned from a four night stay. We can't recommend the Frangipani more! The perfect blend of laid back atmosphere, terrific staff, wonderful rooms, phenomenal beach, and delicious food. We enjoyed laying out on the beach during the day after getting a wonderful breakfast at the Straw Hat. In the evenings, we walked down the beach the several beach front restaurant options. All are wonderful. We did the Frangicat II boat excursion one day. Highly recommend. The captain took us to several coves and beaches to swim at and ate lunch at Falcon Nest. It was awesome. If you are looking for the super fancy place that is a scene. This is not for you. If you are looking for simple beach elegance, this is it.

We had an amazing time visiting Anguilla for the first time. We were looking for a quiet and beautiful place to celebrate our 22nd anniversary. It was perfect and we will definitely be back.

We stayed at Frangipani has to be a few years back maybe more than a few years. It was our anniversary, and the resorts are pretty expensive, yet this resort was a little pricey, but the price for the experience we had there.
It turns out the son of the owner was getting married and his mom was in and we met her at the bar. She was the most gracious caring person that we met. She was very much concerned about our stay, and when she found out, it was our 30th anniversary. There was a bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room the next morning what a great touch. " Didn’t have to do anything to make us feel more welcome. To be totally honest. We have stayed in Anguilla four times before, and this is one of our favorite trips because they made me feel. I had did not have to be rich to enjoy the island and made us feel as welcome as family. The attached straw hat, Resturant used to be on the other side of the island, Food is always excellent, And the convenience of being attached to resort was amazing. We walked out of our rooms and were literally steps from the beach. I miss its coming up to our 50th anniversary in two years. Maybe a return trip?

This was our first time staying at Frangipani and second time in Anguilla. I’m not sure where to start because we had such an incredible stay. We stayed in two rooms while on the property and the first one was the non-ocean view standard room which was perfect for us as a couple without kids with us, it had a nice bathroom and was only steps from the beach and right by the pool too but still quiet. Had a couple of issues that were fixed with speed and made right and not really worth mentioning but just know if something comes up they will go above and beyond to fix it. We also stayed in the deluxe ocean view room and it was incredible! The balcony is HUGE — pictured. There’s probably no coming back after a room like that — It was like being right on the ocean. I have stayed in so many hotels over the course of my life (everything from negative stars during sports tournaments to five stars while working in hospitality myself or vacation) and this was probably my favorite view, it takes your breath away and the porch was gorgeous for relaxing on night or day. Super comfortable bed, great bathroom, and our room had a refrigerator and safe and nice cold air conditioning. I didn’t encounter ANY bug bites while here either (way more in Wisconsin where we are from), just a few beautiful and busy honey bees in a lovely Christmas Palm on the balcony which I loved watching pollinate.

Another magical trip to Anguilla made all the better by staying at this amazing small-ish hotel. Wonderful staff who provided lots of good tips for dining and beach hoping. Loved the day trip on the boat that the hotel does for guests and the view at Straw Hat for breakfast is the perfect start to the day. Can’t wait to go back.
