Not a bad hotel at all. Receptionist has no clue which is being occupied. I was assigned to a room which already has an occupant in it.

Excellent for Angola. The best in 9 year.

Great ambience, best gym in Luanda.

Internet is terrible, hotel very expensive.

Good service. Well located. Business center. Meeting and conferrnce. Adding Tea / Coffee facilities in the room does notcost much and will be a plus!

The hotel has a modern decor and very friendly staff. It is overall a pleasant place to be. The big problem is that most of the rooms are noisy at night, either because of the power generators and chillers on the ground floor and on the rooftop, or the constant noise of the central AC, even when AC is powered down in the room. In most of time (over the many times I've stayed at this hotel), I could only sleep by using earplugs. This is an issue they really should address…

The location of Tropico was great for me. The room was well-equipped and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a great place to stay in Luanda.

Nice hotel rooms with free Wi-Fi. Food is ok. About 10 minutes drive from airport.

International standards, nice rooms (specially the executive ones), nice swimming pool in the back, good gym and spa. Good food, though the options could be improved — specially on the room service.

Excellent value for money, considering the prices of the hotels in Luanda. Clean and comfortable rooms, attentive and timely room service. Beautiful gym, new and modern technogym equipment; Also path to CrossFit.

The hotel is expensive compare with other hotel in the area but it is very welcome and pleasent to be there nice place and good food quality.

My stay at the hotel was short, however, the hospitality was good, the patrons very friendly and conversant in English so no language barrier, the rooms are classy and neat, I was able to do some work thanks to internet access. It was just pleasant to be there, thanks a lot.

Nice room, very friendly staff, gourmet bon gourmet. I would only suggest to the Management for their 4 star hotel, to train their staff in each area to apply the hotel codes of the category that were qualified.

At 10pm on 28 December 2017, I hanged breakfast request at the door knob for my breakfast between 3:30 — 04:00am, I wondered that already past 3:50am no foods were delivered yet to my room, I open the door and found out that my food request form still hanging at the door knob. I immediately reported to the front desk. It's good that they prepared and delivered my food at 4:20am. I eats immediately so I will not miss my 4:45am pick up time. Please improve this not to be happened again.

Since my previous stay, I felt the internet connection had been improved. The gym is as always great, the buffet as well. Shame the shop inside does not accept credit card.

It was my second time at Tropico and I can confirm my first impression. Excellent Hotel with a very good service and with an excellent offer of Food, Services and amenities. I've enjoyed the gym and classes. Absolutely recommended.

I spent 5 days at Hotel Tropico and those were just perfect. From the staff to the hotel accommodations, restaurant and foods, everything was perfect. Definitively, I would stay there again.

Very good hotel: the rooms are nice, huge TV screen, fridge, … The bathroom is in good condition. The service at the pool bar is a bit slow but this is the only bad point I could find. The location is particularly well if you're planning for a run on the waterfront (5min away).

Friendly staff, neat room, nice and relaxing pool area, fair Internet and great quality food. Great place overall. Drinks at dinner and occasional room service was a bit slow. I enjoyed my stay and would gladly return in future.

This is a very nice hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, the buffet lunch/dinner is nice, and the gym and pool are very good. The only minor issues were a bad smell in my bathroom coming from the drains (lasted a couple of days then disappeared) and the fact that at the buffet it can take a long time to get a drink despite there being plenty of staff — they usually take the drinks order promptly but then it takes a long time to arrive.

Great Hotel, one of the best in Luanda. The sunday brunch is one of the best I've ever had, and the quality/quantity ratio is really excellent!

Overpriced. Plain and simple. Requested modification to room rate, but apparently no-one at hotel, even managers, have ability to discuss rates, etc. I would need to send email to marketing department, etc. Etc. That is just wrong.

Ok hotel, room was nice and clean. Water was clear and food was good. Don't order room service. They won't add it to your room and I had to pay cash. $27. US for 2 eggs, bacon and toast with a Coke. No shuttle bus.

If you have to spend time in Luanda, this Hotel is a good place to do it. Everything is new, good quality, clean and tidy. Food is great quality, although you'll need a mortgage if you want to eat everyday. Service is a bit random — but generally friendly, if not always super-efficient. The gym a good size, clean and well stocked with a great variety of machines and weights. The steam room and sauna are also clean and a good size.

Customer service is top! These people smile all day I cannot express how pleased and delighted I am. From Operations Manager to door man. Made a phone call to book a massage and a day spa then forgot my summing suit. A week after I made a call to report it and for my surprise, they called immediately saying that they found it.
HOTEL TROPICO has a lavish buffet. The brunch on Sundays is one of the best services at Tropico. The gastro adventure and taste offered by the hotel will take you to a different level of culinary delights. I would recommend the hotel to take advantage of the different types of Agolan exotic fruits to diversify and enrich their menu. Would definitely recommend.
