Hotel Baia

Excellent hotel and good location as well.
Service was excellent and breakfast was great.
Just a little bit noisy from the construction across the hotel. But that’s not an issue at all, you can still get a good nights rest.

The hotel team is consistently pursuing to offer best services and I'm glad my one week stay was uneventful and had a relaxed time after work hours.

The rooms, restaurant are great and staff also awesome. One area to fault you, is the fact you don't have an iron available for guests, as a 4-star Hotel that's a minor provision you should be meeting.

Restaurant has the best food I have eaten in all my years. And I have stayed some 2000 nights in hotels.
Rooms and staff are absolutely great.
If only staff would ask guests having video calls or such in public places to shut up, this would have been 5 star visit.

Pool was nice enough. Didn’t enjoy people coming and going and being super loud on the bar side of it, though.
Room was nice. Spacious and somewhat functional. Housekeeping was very efficient.
Reception and restaurant staff were impeccable. Helpful and friendly.
No pickup from the airport despite booking and chasing, which was annoying.
Location was not ideal for a female solo traveler.
Food was disgusting!

The past year, I have spent a number of days at Hotel Baia and had a wonderful stay. The accommodations, the furnishings and the style are quite typical to what I have experienced in other TD Hotels. I have had the pleasure at staying at almost all the TD properties from Mozambique to Angola and by far this property stands tall above them all. Apart from the convenient location, the people by far are the best asset. They have a quite impeccable approach to ensuring that you feel at home through their service and engagements. This is the primary reason as being so far from home, the experience at Hotel Baia makes it easier to unwind after longs days of working.
If you are ever in town and want to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown, but be relatively close, this is the hotel that would be ideal to stay.

The Hotel Baia is in an excellent area in front of the sea, with a great beach walkway for exercise or evening walks.
The Hotel services are great, offering delicious food in their restaurant and the top-floor bar.

The waiters are to keen and eager and need to lear some boundaries.
Give the guest some space while they eat and not stand and stare at the guests looking if they need something.
Some space and privacy would be nice to enjoy the meal.
If a guest requires a service, he / she will call for assistance.
Just something to consider.

The pros : good size rooms, with good choice of amenities in the bathroom.
The cons : reception isn’t coping very well with volumes. Room was quite noisy with rooms coming from the street, soundproofing is very basic. Cleaning of the rooms is questionable, when opening the curtains I found some underwear belonging to a previous guest.

Went for quick lunch but had a shock of my life! Please ask for the menu' before touching anything (it's not automatically presented to you) unless you ask. A 20$ smack taken from the Buffet table will cost you 70$ and the quality is desapointing for your $.

Very nice staying here during quarantine. Food is very good Beds are good size. And room very clean.

The best Hotel in Luanda with lovely views of the Sea. Excellent service all round and very helpful staff. Should be 5 *.
