Well, it's a meeting point for a lot of people with the same views. Mountain, cycling or skiing. A nice place, with an interior where you can relax at the end of the day and the freedom to make your meal.

Great hostel. Very friendly staff/owners who have helped with many aspects of our stay from bus to resort, ski passes and ski lessons. Love the outdoor pool plus hot tub.

Just great, very clean, cozy, practical and spacious chill out area, perfect to relax and unwind whether on holiday or after a day you'll sport for the area. It also has a heated swimming pool who falls in love with and now a sauna outside! Marc and Mar charming, and always attentive to everything. Don't miss anything.

Very basic hostel but nice (the people that come to stay are so lovely) but staff unfriendly.

I enjoyed a lot my staying! I had 4 nights! They have a very friendly staff and they generate a good environment! Everything is well organized and clean! A super star for the jacuzzi! I wanna come back more times!

Just spent 6 nights at Mountain Hostel Tarter. Amazing place to come back to after a long day hiking and biking the Andorran mountains. Would reccomend to anyone and I expect I will be back again.

This has been the best place I have had a stay at so far. The hosts were amazing. We arrived late so they had left a letter with all the information. The place has everything you'd need for the stay. The view is amazing. The pool is perfect to get soaked in prior to taki g a sunbath. I can not wait to visit it again. Highly recommended to anyone traveling to Andorra. :) Keep an eye on the bus transport from the cutu center. Taxi would cost around €25 from the central bus station.

Exceptionally clean hostel in a beautiful location. Not much to do within walking distance, a car is a must. Friendly staff. Thin walls so have earplugs as other guest noise reverberates throughout.

The best hostel I've ever been for sure. Super friendly and attentive staff. The facilities were extremly cozy and clean which makes you feel like home. Great place for those who want to escape the hustle city or who want to do outdoor activities. I really love the mini mart which offered me almost food and stuff I need. Wish I can come back! I first stumbled upon this "hostel" (it's really the Ritz of hostels) three years ago and just loved everything about it. Have since come back every summer. For me it's the perfect base for a road cycling training camp. The location is really perfect. El Tarter is a little town at 1750m up meaning that it's quiet, the air is pure and great if you're looking for some altitude training. The hostel itself is amazing. Beautiful decor being in a an old stone house it perfect combines new and old to give a relaxed and classy touch. It's ALWAYS keep sparkling clean, common areas, bathrooms and the rooms are cleaned daily. You'll never enter and be put off by bad odours like some places. The quality of the linen and thickness of the mattresses ensure you'll get a nice peaceful night. The owners do a fantastic job of creating an environment whereby noise is shutdown by 11pm. The owners themselves, Mar and Marc simply take this place to the next level. Always give 110% to ensure every guest has the best stay possible. You simply can't meet nicer people.

Amazing! The location is very good and the rooms are very nice.

Lots of snow. Not a lot of waiting time to get on lifts. Supermarkets, in quite a few locations. I had a car, easy to drive around and loads of car parking.

Beautiful terrace and swimming pool in front of a breathtaking landscape.
Quiet and restful environment! Direct access to the slopes is a real plus!

Modern and cosmopolitan, with the athmosphere of traditional montain huts. Always a warm welcome from the staff. Wonderful new jacuzzi terrasse, a must after skiing all day!

The best hostel without a dudaaa! The heated pool brutaaal and cn a spectacular view to the slopes of Tarter. The kindness of Patry, Marc, and the Sea is ke you feel at home.

Super Cozy. The lounge is fantastic for being relaxed or chatting with people and the rooms are very clean. I also have to stress that the attention of Mar and Patricia was spectacular.
The outdoor pool is spectacular.

The apartment is really spacious, we slept at 6, we do not walk on it, we are a few steps from the stations, restaurant, dishwasher, washing machine… Frankly for 15 euros a night per person, this is really a great plan.

Small and cosy Hostel, very well decorated and good Wi-Fi. It Serves as a hostel and as a shelter by car if you are going to go to the mountain the next day. Cozy Deal. Place to eat and have coffee. Comfortable Rooms. The only But, that the showers and sinks are on the ground floor, everything can't be for the price you have… Recommendation, book them directly.

Mar n her hubby own the hostel and they are extremely warm and friendly… Loved the hospitality, ambience and the scenic location. Perfect place for a holiday and to rejuvenate :-)

This hostel is in a league above! So incredibly clean, kitchen is actually stocked with full utensils and dishes. Showers are warm, the jacuzzi pool is warm too! Staff/owners are so nice and accommodating, they actually care about your stay and are very helpful with directions etc. I wish every hostel was as amazing as this one!

Outstanding and definitely the best hostel in Andorra! Spontaneously, I came back two times because I enjoyed the place so much. The personnel is very friendly and helpful (for example if it's about outdoor activities). Very tasty coffee (plus tea) is included in the price. Also the use of a huge whirlpool with mountainview! There is a well equipped kitchen (the hostel doesn't offer meals) and enough space in the huge fridges. The whole hostel is quite new. Everything is clean and the design is very modern and sportive. It's rewarded as Andorras best hostel. I totally agree! Greets from Florian from Germany.

Couldn't find a better place to stay in Andorra if you tried! Mar will show you where all the best hiking trails are that start right from the back door. Very comfortable, clean and a coffee machine :)

Likely the nicest hostel that I have ever visited. Great cookiing and bathroom facilities and a comfortable atmosphere. The best value by far in Grandvalira!

Best hostel experience I've ever had. The hosts go out of their way to help you have a great time in Andorra. We went hiking and were provided with maps & excellent advice. Very clean and comfortable.

As people say; everything you possibly need from a hostel. Everyone i've met over the course of two weeks loved it. Whether alone or in a company, this, in my opinion is by far the best place to stay, especially if you're here to ski! They also have very nice showers! ;).

Fabulous Hostel, in a wonderful, relaxing environment, the super-clean hostel, the very nice owner. All with much taste and guidance that customers are happy to.

Mar — hostel owner — is super helpful and patient even if you have a lot of questions — like me ;). Very welcoming, warm, friendly and flexible, goes out of her way to make your stay as perfect as possible. Everything is really new and clean yet it still feels warm and cosy. Great facilities, plenty of kitchen equipment — can't fault it! If you do want to go out in Soldeu, last bus back is 9.30 : (many friendly locals will give you a lift though or you can walk — it's only 2km. I wouldn't recommend taxis — first one tried to charge €26! Yes for 2km! Loved my stay and definitely want to come back! Xxx.

Absolutely outstanding! Very friendly owners, comfortable and cosy main area, well equipped kitchen, simple but nice bedrooms, and not more than 500m from the ski lift. You can't really ask for much more if you come here to enjoy the outdoors.
