3 stars only for the location and the nightly price, this hotel needs to be refreshed again. It's located within walking distance from the french institute and downtown and many great addresses but it lacks maintenance: smell in the room, very dirty faucets, Wi-Fi not working, not the best view of the area (at least where I stayed) the area is safe though.
For 5 bucks more you can have much much better.

"This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room was filthy, infested with cockroaches, had no air conditioning, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. The bed was dirty, and breakfast was nothing more than a cup of coffee. At night, there was constant noise which made it impossible to sleep. Even worse, while I still had one night left on my reservation, my room was given to another guest. Some of my belongings also went missing, which is completely unacceptable. The owner was rude and unprofessional. I strongly advise against staying here.
