I have to say this place exceeded my expectations by a country mile — as you'll see from all the 5* reviews, it's terrific. I've rarely encountered such genuine helpfulness (faleminderit Besi) and just, well, ordinary 'niceness'. I'm sure there are lots of good places to stay in Shkodër; however, Corner Hostel is somewhere I would return to without a shadow of a doubt. Great in every respect; when I was there (mid-Nov) it was really very quiet; ok, so it's low-season, but this place deserves far more visitors.

Besi is the best hostel manager I have ever come across and was extremely welcoming when coming to Shkoder. Made you feel at home, sorted out all transfers/requests for the Theth to Valbone hike and really made the experience of staying here amazing!
I had food poisoning one night which wasn’t great but Besi made sure that I was okay and healthy during my whole stay. Couldn’t speak any higher of him 🫶🏻
Highly recommend and will be back in the near future :)

It is probable the best hostal around here. You pay a bit more than others but it is super clean, kinda new, and right in the centre. The host is super nice and helpful. We came for few days and Shkoder is surprisingly beautiful.
