There are hotels where you stay, and there are places that make you feel like family. Gardenland Resort is truly one of those rare places.
We spent 10 unforgettable nights here, and from the very first day until the moment we left, every single member of the team made us feel genuinely cared for. They didn’t just recognise us—they knew us by name, greeted us with warm smiles every day, and made us feel completely at home.
The rooms were impeccably clean, the pool was wonderful, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax. What made our stay even more special was the food. Knowing that so much comes directly from the hotel’s own farm was an experience in itself. The fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk, and other produce were bursting with flavour; you could truly taste the difference. Every meal felt fresh, healthy, and prepared with love.
One of the moments that touched us the most was the genuine care from the management. The manager was always present, making sure every guest was happy, and the chef personally came to ask us what we would like for the lunch and dinner buffet. It’s this kind of attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality that turns a holiday into a memory.
A small gesture that meant so much was receiving a beautiful Albanian souvenir magnet from the hotel. It may seem simple, but after travelling to many countries and staying in countless hotels around the world, we had never experienced such a thoughtful and personal farewell.
We really enjoyed our stay at Gardenland Skadar with our children. The place is beautiful, clean, and perfect for families. The staff were amazing – always friendly, helpful, and smiling. They made us feel very welcome.
The only thing that could be much better is the restaurant. The service was great, but the menu is quite limited and doesn't offer much traditional Albanian food. We were hoping to try local dishes, but instead there were mostly pizzas, pasta, and risotto. The food was okay, but it didn't match the quality of the rest of the resort.
Apart from that, everything was excellent. We'd happily come back and would definitely recommend Gardenland Skadar to other families.
