Good 3 star hotel right by the sea. Staff nice and helpful. For holidays by the sea with sun loungers. In high summer, certainly very crowded.

The room was very comfort, with a big balcony and nice view to the sea. The service very professional and the quality of food very good. Would really recommend.

Rude staff. Arrogant management. The owner is a threatening obnoxious thug and a bully who would prefer to have you dealt with in classic Communist fashion if you bring an issue to his attention. He actually threatened our safety.

Substandard and inhospitable accommodations for any traveler or tourist from the Western (or FREE) world. The shower curtain doesn't reach the floor, the sink runs endlessly and doesn't shut off, the plumbing fixtures and furniture are outdated, the ventilation is poor, and the building smells old and musty. It's so outdated that the hotel still has its former name "Apollonia" written in the lobby. The food served in the restaurant is bland and tasteless, especially breakfast. I went three days without fresh sheets or a mopped floor. There's not even a pool. The head receptionist (7:00-15:00 shift) has a wretched disposition. She is particularly defensive and combative, especially when asked for simple things like fresh towels or to arrange a taxi. Donald, a waiter in their restaurant, described her as "having her period. " His comment is just one example of how inappropriate these employees are. The attitude of the waitstaff and housekeeping crew reflect the owner's old-world authoritarian management style. His sort of violent and threatening demeanor may work with locals in Durres, but not where I come from. It's a terrible example to put forward to international tourists. What a despicable, ugly little place. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. If you care to experience persecution in the authentic style of communist former-Yugoslavia, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, spend the extra money and stay at Palace Hotel & Spa, where I quite enjoyed my stay.

Great hotel, very friendly staff and manager, nothing is too much trouble for this hotel. Great location, excellent coffee bar and restaurant,. Would highly recommend.
