Tokyo Hotels near Shinjuku

We arrived at Narita airport and took the Luxury bus to the hotel the next morning as unfortunately it's last departure was after our arrival.

I had a really good stay at Hotel Groove. The room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel overall felt modern and well‑kept. The restaurant inside was nice too, with good food and a relaxed vibe.

We had recently spent one wonderful night at the Century Southern Tower Hotel.
We took the Airport Limousine Bus from Haneda Airport and it sent us directly to the hotel doorstep.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great as we were within walking distance from multiple subway stations.

We enjoyed our stay which kicked off our Japan trip. The view was incredible and room furnishings of high quality. The staff were all very polite and also recognised my Discovery status.

We stayed at Via Inn Shinjuku for two weeks and had a really positive experience.
The room was on the smaller side, but that’s very typical for Tokyo, and it was extremely well laid out.

I had a fantastic stay at the Via Inn Shinjuku during the New Year's period for 6 nights. The hotel is a little bit further out to the middle of Shinjuku but was still close enough to the action.

Booked this hotel for a last minute trip to Tokyo. Daiwa Roynet is in Shinjuku but away from the hustle and noise of Kabuchico.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. By chance, we discovered this incredibly stylish and contemporary hotel located in the heart of Nishishinjuku.

We had a fabulous stay at Mimaru Tokyo. The staff was very nice and spoke good English. The on-site laundry was very useful, and our room was excellent with a full kitchenette.

Lovely rooms. Clean. Family of 5 was very comfortable. Friendly staff. Good location. Quick walk to subway station and stores and cafes etc. We love this Mimaru hotel chain, perfect for families.

My family and I scored a room with 4 twin sized beds which I’ve never seen at any other hotel. While it was expensive, we enjoyed our stay. Yes the room was small, but that is the norm in Japan.

Overall, we had a very satisfying stay at Kadoya Hotel. The front desk staff were consistently welcoming and helpful.

Basic hotel, clean rooms which had enough space to open 2 large suitcases. Soundproofing could be better and due to the location, we could hear multiple ambulances passing by late at night.

My first time in Japan and this hotel was nice for me being in a really good location to walk and close to the Shinjuku station to travel around Tokyo!

Great little place! Directly across from a 7-11 and a short walk to the subway entrance. The two single beds were comfy, the room wasn't cramped, and the bathroom was small but serviceable.

Stayed here for 6 nights in April for the first time. Location is close to Higashi Shinjuku station, 5-10 minutes bus or 15-20 minutes walk to Shinjuku. Very accessible.

We loved our stay at Yuen Shinjuku! It is situated in a nice quiet spot located within easy walking distance to the Shinjuku area and train station.

Exceptional service from the staff. The cleanliness is perfect. It smells nice all the time, the music in the hotel creates a calming feeling from the entrance to your room.

Front desk staff helpful. Rooms are on the small side but clean. It is only a few minutes walk from the main areas of Shijuku. Metro is on a parallel road in front of the hotel.

Quiet, lovely apartments in a great location close to Shinjuku and the Yamanote line. There's a kitchen, washing machine and the living space is great.

It is a self service apartment with complete amenities if you are into cooking. Room variety, 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms.

I really don’t understand what all the negative reviews are about. This hotel is in the centre of one of the main areas of Tokyo. You could not get a better location.

I travel a lot and I loved this hotel.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The service was impeccable, the included coffee and mini donuts all day & night is great.

Family of 5. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Quite spacious for Tokyo standards. Very clean.
Laundry and bathroom was seperate to kitchen and sleeping area which was great.

Great location if you'd like to be in walking distance from main JR train lines, Tokyo Metro, West lines. The rooms are simple and functional, neat and clean.

APA Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower.
It was a great stay here. The rooms are very cozy and have all the amenities, from a room heater to everything else.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a week-long Tokyo visit. Location was excellent, with subway entrance just a minute away. Shinjuku Stn was a further 10-15 minute walk though.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel.
Location: extremely well located, 2 mins from subway. And the main Shinjuku station is about 10 mins away to take limousine bus to airport.

Room was compact and the smallest of the 4 places we stayed at. Great location in Shinjuku to get to where we needed to go. Loved the convenience of collecting the amenities we needed.

The English speaking girl on the front desk was so friendly and helpful. She was really thoughtful and took the time to help us and made our stay much smoother.

We arrived at the hotel slightly before 4 and was notified that we couldn’t check in until 4, but we could leave our luggage there. We went on with our last day in Tokyo and returned around 9pm.

Currently in the process of renovations, the Park Hyatt Tokyo was a hotel that I long desired to stay in, and the chance to do so finally came after the pandemic restrictions were lifted.

Service is impeccable. The rooms are spotless. The Japanese breakfast is a delicious and bountiful feast — so much so that you may be full until dinnertime. This may be the only downside.

Recently stayed 6 nights here — only positive notes to say. Arrived late at night via the airport limosine bus which conveniently dropped us at the front of the hotel.

Stayed here for 5 nights. We had booked a triple bed room but as it was the end of our trip and all very tired we decided to swap to 3 single rooms. The staff made our request easy and smooth.
