Eluanbi Lighthouse is a historic landmark located in the southernmost point of Taiwan, in the town of Eluan. The lighthouse stands tall at 21 meters and is surrounded by a picturesque landscape of rugged cliffs and the vast blue ocean. It was first built in 1882 during the Qing Dynasty and has since undergone several renovations to maintain its structure and functionality.
The lighthouse is made of brick and stone and features a unique octagonal shape. It is painted in white and red stripes, making it easily visible from afar. The top of the lighthouse houses a powerful light that illuminates the surrounding waters, guiding ships safely through the treacherous currents and rocky shores.
Visitors can climb up the spiral staircase to the top of the lighthouse and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
