Donahm Seowon is a historic Confucian academy located in the town of Wŏnbanwŏl. It was established during the Joseon Dynasty in the 16th century and served as a center for Confucian learning and education for over 400 years. The academy is surrounded by lush greenery and features traditional Korean architecture, including a main hall, lecture halls, and dormitories for students.
The main hall, known as the Seowonjeon, is the largest building on the premises and is where important ceremonies and lectures were held.
