We stayed at Ballentyne lodge the night before and the night of our wedding, and wat a wonderful experience! the staff are so warm and inviting, the food omw just divine. Made our wedding morning experience so lovely, and got to take amazing pictures in the amazing scenery! I would definitely recommend staying here, I know wen we need a break from reality I'll be checking us in! Thank you to Shirley and her awesome team for giving us such a wonderful experience.

This upmarket boutique hotel in Zimbabwe is an absolute gem! I have stayed here many times and will not stay anywhere else in Zim. The place is stunning, clean and well maintained. Great food too, but most importantly, the hosts make it the best hotel by giving you the warmest welcome and are always friendly and helpful! Book early as this place is almost always fully booked!

Very well laid planned and loved the spacious layout. A sense of freedom and complete privacy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Above all the place was very clean. It's definitely worth paying for!

Exquisite and intimate to say the least. Beautiful and well kept gardens, nice pool, nice dining area etc, etc. Reception friendly, helpful, kind etc, etc. Rooms special, tidy, huge shower, etc, etc. I can go on and on but, in a nut shell: You will not be disappointed.

It was lovely we our City and Guilds practicals it was fun if you want to go there you welcome.

I had an all to brief stay there and was knocked out by the setting. It’s superb and if that’s not enough all the staff are top notch. 5 stars are not enough, thanks to everyone.

Amazing, beautiful, friendly, GREAT food.

Not more stars as I wasn't there long but was beautiful and a great place for a baby shower but parking was a little bit of a pain.

Fantastic staff, delicious food, lovely setting and whatever you've been led to believe about Harare or the "troubles" in Zimbabwe — rethink it! It is amazing here, lovely clean streets, peaceful, the currency thing is an issue er becomes an issue, and if you paying in dollars then there is no issue, but so worth a visit!

Another stay at the lodge, this time with family from UK. Just love this place, it is certainly home from home. Thank you so much to Kirsten, Haley & all the staff for looking after us so well as usual. Highly recommended.

Transferred from Meikles to Ballantynes Lodge was probably one of the best decision I made during my a week long stay in Harare. The whole lodge is beautiful, cozy and each room has its own perks and designed elegantly. This lodge will definitely makes you feel like home. The owner and the staffs are super friendly and helpful. I can't wait for another stay here on my next business trip. Highly recommended!
