We recently stayed here for 3 days and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Loved that the resort was walking distance from town and located right on the river but was still quiet and cozy. Had drinks and dinner at art space and everything was delicious and the staff was great! We also booked the sunset boat ride and we loved it. Minh was our host and he was absolutely fabulous! We left early in the morning and took The Vietage to Quy Nhon and it was the most fabulous unique experience… highly recommend! Will definitely be back 😁

Beautiful place to stay. We spent two wonderful weeks here in November 2919. Our River Front Suite was outstanding. The staff were amazing even the manger always had the time to stop and talk with you.

Just visited Anantara for 1 day, everything is perfect, friendly staff, nice view towards the Thu Bon River, beautiful rooms, amazing menu for breakfast and some drinks. I would definitely come back with my family and friends!

We love this resort! Excellent service and lovely touches (birthday cake and other treats) to make our time extra special. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We love going for bicycle rides around Hoi An. The resort is close to many restaurants and coffee shops, as well as the local market. The swimming pool is large and there's a separate smaller pool for little ones. We love the views of the river and the grass, trees and flowers all around the premises. The food is delicious. We have been back several times since our first visit in April.

Whether it be a short or long stay this resort is the place to stay. Staff go out of their way to endeavour the best stay possible. Within walking distance to all sights in Hoi An. We cannot wait to go back there. Thank you Anantara Hoi An for making our stay memorable.

The best location to stay in Hoi An, plus thoughtful touch from Anantara staff. I highly recommend the Pho Cocktail from Artful Restaurant.

This was a fantastic place to stay the staff cannot do enough for you, especially the lovely takeaway breakfast pack that I could take back to our room. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming over from Australia. Great location walking distance to old Hoi An. Really enjoyed our 4 nights.

The staff are lovely, the grounds are nice and the hotel is in a decent location. However, the hotel is currently undergoing major building work, which was really disruptive for our stay. We were had already booked a suite and when we arrived we were told we were being ‘upgraded’, however the room of the same type as we paid for — we were placed right next to rooms that was under renovation. Renovation work started at 8am in the morning and our view of the river was past a stack of building materials and a motorbike car park. Other points to note — breakfast isn’t up to the standard of other Anantara hotels we have stayed in, general quality is a bit low. (UPDATE) when we checked out we left a small toy dog in the room that our young son really cares about. Hotel staff were unable to locate it despite being informed within an hour of checking out. Very poor.

Beautiful place with very friendly staff. Spa, pool and restaurants are all great, plus the great location not far from old town and the beaches.

Luxury hotel I cannot find fault with. Rooms are spacious, well maintained have satellite tv, air con, mini bar, Wi-Fi etc. Breakfast buffet has everything you could want to set you up for the day. Hotel also has a great sized pool with bar serving food and drinks, a spa and gym.

Excellent hotel on the bank of the river. Rooms of a high standard and the restaurant food very good. Close to the town with many good restaurants. This is a worthwhile town to visit.

Very good hotel, five-star service. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very nice. Location is also very good, as long as walking 10 minutes or so can go to the ancient town, super convenient. You can also ride a bike if you don't want to walk, and the hotel has free bikes. The spa is a good massage, worth a try.

Nice accommodation hotel but at the morning buffet and evening restaurant 's quality of service just did not live up to my expectations.

I will put only 3 stars, as nobody has mentionned to us the construction site next door to the pool. 2. Prices of the spa and restaurant are really over the top. They keep making promotions but I would suggest to just lower the prices. 3. The hotel ground is very open and it doesnt feel very secure at all. You get in and out whithout anyone noticing and I haven't seen any security just video cameras. 4. The bed and pillows have a moldy smell. 5. We are staying 6 nights and the staff is not unfriendly but just average I was expecting more from the previous comments. On the good side: 1. Its really close to good shops and the old town and yet it feels quiet. 2. Our bedroom facing the river is lovely 3. They have set up bunkbeds for our kids which was a great surprise. 4. The breakfast and restaurant food is really good 5. The swimming pool has a decent size I just feel that the comments do not reflect reality.

Ideally located for Temple tours. Best way to tour is by Tuk Tuk. You must purchase a 1or 3 day pass PRIOR to tour (s). Plenty to see and do around Hotel.

Must place to stay whilst discovering Hoi An. Walking distance to old town. Staff is excellent, going above and beyond. Breakfast buffet with a great variety. Visit the Spa, the best massage I had so far in Vietnam. The resort is highly recommended.

Definitely not the best Anantara around. Ridiculously tiny gym. Could use some refreshing here and there; paint etc. Good food.

A very nice and luxurious split level room with great access to the markets and great restraunts. The restraunt has brilliant food (I recommend the iced coffee).

Beautiful Hotel and lovely, helpful staff to match. We stayed here recently with our three young sons and all the staff were so kind and caring towards them. The rooms were lovely and the beds were to die for! The continental breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! If you get the chance you must visit this beautiful Hotel in an amazing position!

Loved this resort, the service is impeccable with a warm welcome on arrival. The room was beautiful with everything you needed. Walking distance to the old town of Hoi An. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a great healthy variety, and you could eat while overlooking the river. The staff would clean the room in the morning and prepare the room for you in the afternoon. They also left a small gift on our bed on our last night. Would highly recommend this resort.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Amazing breakfast options Good location — close to town, on the water Cons: Everything you buy extra like room service, drinks at pool bar etc, remember to add 15% as they add extra tax at the end when you go to pay. Terrible internet Construction going on next door which we were not aware of and the price wasn't reduced. bad quality food from room service (however the chips were good) O'malleys restaurant was horrendous for food. (Don't order the nachos as all you will get is some Doritos chips and half melted cheese! ) The gym is tiny.

We went there only for the massage and it's the life best massage experience you will ever have! Pricey, but totally worth it!

Fabulous resort that is close enough to old town to feel intimate, but far enough away to be quiet. The service and rooms are at a top level with the only thing missing being a "all inclusive" price.

The ethos here is the Thai idea of a journey having no limit. It's a pretty standard villa set up, not a huge pool, but all you need. The Vietnamese staff where all actually quite incredible. Get to know them by name, and you will find they are great people. The location is VERY central, without being so close you are attacked by hawkers as soon as you leave, however… The Street ladies wanting to wash your clothes may get alittle intense. The river view room was uninterrupted Amazingness. A new hotel is being built just opposite which may change the dynamic alittle. I was woken by the faint sounds of fishing boats every morning, which I LOVED but you decide what you will. You can live large here for a good price, but if you are brave and eat locally along the river, you will be an absolute king, on a third of the price. Borrow a bike and head east, away from town, around the farms, and to the beach, and you will find some of the nicest fields and greatest people on a 2hr round trip. (We rode THROUGH somebodies house, HOUSE, not yard, as that's where our trail lead us) They have 2 hotel cars and can arrange private tours at your request, a bit pricey compared to town. But worth every cent you are spending of western dollars. I recommend My Son at sun rise… Before the crowds. They will even provide breakfast for you!

Anantara was absolutely lovely. Everything was beautiful, clean and the service was wonderful.

Stayed 5 nights at Anantara Hoi An Resort and I must say it was definite a 5 star rating. Sometimes, I think what defined the luxury is not just about the room, bathroom, or hotel facilities but rather to the small details including the services that make the guests impressive and feel you care about their stay. I did feel that warm during the stay at the resort. I think you guys do a pretty good job of combining the local Vietnamese-service style together with international luxury standard. The friendliness & smaile of staff are one of the best. Also, I like the location of the hotel very much. I walked to the night market and Japanese bridge at least 4 times and Anantara Hoi An is the only luxury resort located and has the direct access to the river. And yes, the Thu Bon River Tour by the resort was really great as you don't have to travel to anywhere but at the back of resort direct. One last thing that I liked and enjoyed the most is the free bicycle, again it could be a small thing to someone but it is the most impressive one to me. The bike made my whole journey in Hoi An perfect and completed as I went to the whole city tour my own as well as the An Bang beach with this 2 wheel machine. Thx to Anantara Hoi An for caring of this little details.

Life Heritage Resort Hoi An 01 Pham Hong Thai Street, Hoi An City Quang Nam Province, Vietnam.

This place was sheer delight. If you can get yourself the best room (facing the river with double bathroom and lounge area) then book it. I've stayed at numerous resorts and this is an absolute standout. I love the architecture of this hotel and the attention to detail in the interior design. The fondest memories. Sumptuous breakfasts overlooking the river, meandering through the village by day. Highly recommended.
