The staff were friendly, in comparison to all the other hostels we visited in HCM. The room was not what we booked, we booked a room for 2 but got a room for three. Requested laundry to be washed on a cold setting only (emphasised) as there was a risk for shrinking, that was overlooked, a couple of my good quality dresses shrunk. Disappointed, no amount of complaining could have "unshrunk" the dresses so in future I won't bother trusting a hostel with my laundry.

Nice and friendly staff. The rooms were ok. Not luxury stay, but good for the average traveler. The handheld shower leaked, but the pressure was good. I would stay there again.

Not bad with the rate offered. The customer can speak english so its easy for me to ask anything.

Although the staff here were quite nice, the property itself is very uninspiring. They don't look at all as pictured. Quite dreary, not very clean. A few pros are to be found in the other businesses on this street. Maison Mauru is a chocolate maker and cafe. I recommend them regardless of where you stay. If you happen to be in the mood for Mexican, the restaurant across the street was surprisingly good (pricy but huge portions, don't be afraid to share an entree). And there's a smart looking craft beer house (Smiling Seal, I think). I din't get to try it but it's a nice looking place with good reviews online and has both a regular and late night happy hour. Back to this hotel… stay if you must but I'm sure better options are out there.

There was a cute lizard. The rooms have weird decor but overall good value.

My choice to stay in HCM. Small hotel located in a quiet small street. Close to many eating places. A short walk to Ben Thanh Market. Easily accessible to downtown HCM.

The staff is NOT professional. The rooms are dirty with ants and other insects everywhere. Sleazy!

Stay away! Huge scam. When we got there the lady on the reception told us that the hotel was full and tried to offer us room from their other hotel across the street. That room was nothing what we had booked, terrible looking, had no windows. We told them we wouldn't stay there. When we got back to the real hotel, the lady told with smile on her face that they have room with window for us. We waited about 30mins and when we went to the room, the cleaning lady were still there. The room was also horrible and not what we had booked. We looked around when the staff left and we were quite shocked about the condition of the room (dirty floor, super dirty bathroom with broken towel rack and someone old soap were even in the shower! ). Looked like nobody had been there for a long long time. We also noticed that there were no safetybox and behind the closet were some door which was not locked… I went to the reception and talked with some new lady (she was okay and talked really good english) and she told that we could put our important stuff in to the envelope and tape it and they will keep it at the reception… She told that the door in our room was door to some towel storage room, but she was a bit surprised about the door not been locked… She told that the room we were in, was renovated in this year (no way), but when I told about the bathroom she got quite mad to the cleaning lady!

The location is near good to reach market and bar area. The staff are nice. Although the room is not as good as the picture it shows on the internet. It’s safe and clean for me to relax with such a cheap price.

They changed my reservation (small room — one double bed) without any further information many times, upgraded my booking to the bigger room that I have to pay more. Last time I got to the hotel at 9pm after a long trip, and they told me there was a problem with the room so they suggest the other hotel which has the same owner and the new room has 2 double beds and not in good condition. I was not happy with it and the staffs was not happy with me as well. One of the guys told me : "Okay so when we have room available here that's for you, maybe you will have to wait until 12am or so" I was not happy with my booking 3 times and I will never come back. Bad service.

Hi I like the location and the staff but what happen is they was give me a room in level 7 it's really doesn't look like a normal room maybe before they use as store room bcoz the room don't have TV connection, dusbin, phone, dressing table, water kettle and the worst is same bad smell from the bathroom water hole when we ask for other room the say all room full it was a bit disappointed… So plz if stay in that hotel if they give level 7 don't take…

Great location and despite being in the centre of HCMC it was quiet, the air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfy. Room was very clean and staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent location … Small hotel but very nice staff and good facilities … We stayed there 2 nights and was a very good stay … If one day we come back to Ho Chi Minh we will stay there again …
