Great place, great service!

A wonderful place, cleanliness, care, comfort all of 10. Excellent service.

This hostel wasnt the worst I have been too, and it was very kind of reception allowing us to check in early since we were sleeping on their deck, but overall three stars is where I think the quality lies. The showers are small in one style of bathroom they have, which also has a door that does not close properly so someone could see you naked. The other showers share a common area with the sink and toilet, so there is no curtain and you are basically able to wet everything in the bathroom. The handles on the sink are very tight and difficult to turn, the toilet seats get stuck together easily, and there is no place to put your things for your shower. The 6-bed dorm we stayed in was pretty much a shed. There were only three plugs to use for everyone in the room, the beds had no ladders to get to the top bunk, and there were so many mosquitos! This was the first place that we have been to where we needed to put on bug repellent and we still got bit all over our scalp and under our clothing. At night, the noise continues until about 11 pm and you can hear every step from the room above so an early morning wake up is dreadful if you have things to take care of the next day. The reception area people also seem to only socialize with those who speak spanish, also.

I Had the opportunity to stay 15 for work in Punta del Este and stayed at the hostel. Very quiet, warm and sincerely would be delighted.

Amazing place to relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

Quiet place with good facilities (kitchen, patio). Wifi and good service. Too bad the library has very few titles in Spanish.

Details that mark that they should never come to this site: there is no hot water in the peak hours.
The manager (Matias Barboza) is very bad vibes and aggressive. He offers you money or discount if you comentás well in Google or Booking. Something we didn't agree on because it seemed very trucho.
They don't let you into alcohol if you come from outside.
There is on the exploitation of the employees who work and many manifest it (terrible wages and working conditions).
There is no bar or does not work in low season (in booking says there is).
The bathrooms are always dirty and not comfortably.
You can not stay until after 11 pm in the yard because the manager comes to ask you to shut up or expel you or you fine.
10% surcharge with card (illegal).
The room for women without a window and tight.
During the entire stay they were in construction, making noise and shutting down sites.
In short I do not recommend or my worst enemy stay in this hostel.
Go somewhere else, there's a lot of cheap and more options here.

It is a very nice place, the staff is very attentive and friendly, the pool next to the bar is great, the overall aesthetic of the site is very attractive, the price is right. For travelers who want to stay near the beach is ideal.

I volunteered with the need to prolong my stay in Punta del Este as I had gotten a fixed job which the owners told me they wanted me to stay working.
I ended up exchanging my skills in this Hostel which you paint a thing that is not.
They hire you for receptionist and make you do very different tasks and you never do reception.
They force you to Califícalos 10 if they don't threaten you to go. Book 2 times booking to leave them a 10 for need to stay as the manager Matias forced me and said that if not towards the reservation and left a 10 I had to go.
In Worldpackers it appears that the laundry is free but you want to charge $10 for every wash.
The kitchen closes from 23 to 8 and during the day you can find that it is also closed.
They do not provide breakfast, meals or discounts on any of their services.
The attendant one day grabbed my towel just like others that were hanging drying to put on the floor because there was a heavy storm and he was getting the water in.
Nothing advisable to come to stay or volunteer.
This is a brief reality of what's going on here.
Another thing is that those who hire the believe ignorant and make them sign in the middle of the low season a contract that talks about you are volunteering, which does not say the salary you have, which is not even a trial contract.

Excellent location, very good staff attention, always attentive to any request. They would only have to improve the kitchen that is made very small.

The breakfast is not free. Overrall hostel is good.

Very nice establishment for the price, staff speaks English and it's pretty close to everything.

The hostel in general is not bad. The room we were given had no windows and there were gaps between the walls and the ceiling. Air came in everywhere, slept warm to be summer, the quality of the room left a lot to be desired, seemed improvised. The bathrooms were far from the room down stairs so it was not practical at night special. Fortunately only one night and the last. Point in favor has a pool. Some of the guys who cater were good vibes others not so much.

Re Lindo Hostel. Pity the people who work there is half bad vibes.

Excellent attention, the guys at the bar and the front desk very willing to talk and help in everything. Comfortable rooms. The common bathrooms are always very clean and the communal places are always very tidy.

Nice place, but for the price do not take separate room, too small (room and bed (120cm! ) but for just a bed is good :)

Amazing the days there.

The location is great and the price is fair. But the place needs better maintenance. The door of our bathroom didn't close properly without having to hit hard and the bathroom door got stuck in the bathroom floor making a loud noise everytime. The sheets smelled like bleach. The reception service is ok. But in the check out they didn't have change and it was almost impossible to use credit card.

Pricy, but a very nice place. They sell drinks and food inside the hostel, also, they have a pool. When I was there they had a live musical performance, playing classics of Brazilian Bossa Nova and some other Latin America classic songs.

The location is pretty good once it is around 15min walk to the city centre. The rooms are OK pretty much like the average of the hostels: lots of beds but still clean. The showers are OK and the hot water was working perfectly. The common area is awesome. It has tables, swimming pool and bar. Perfect spot to relax and get along with other travellers. However the bar is not very well supplied. I've ordered an ordinary beer and they didn't have it.

The staff is nice and helpful, but it would make the stay better when the dorms have a trashcan, light and sockets for every bed. Generally more sockets please. They have 5 toilets just in front of the bar, Most of them are small, you could take a shi. And a shower at the same time. But no washbasin in it. You have to wash your hands somewhere else. The staff is tryin to keep it clean. But the owner could spend some money for details. Much potential, but try to think like a guest, what is important, what could be better?

There's so much going for this place, it's a shame that it's so badly let down by what should be the simple stuff. The shared space around the bar is really cute and a great little area to hang out in both during the day and for drinks before heading out in the evening. They tend to play the music a bit unnecessarily loud, but we can forgive that. What we can't forgive is the surly and unhelpful nature of some staff members and the absolutely dreadful state of the rooms. This place is far from cheap, but the rooms are nothing short of disgusting. The sink was halfway off the wall, the shower flooded the TINY bedroom, rendering it unusable, and the beds looked like something salvaged from a skip. The worst crime: crappy Wi-Fi. Give this place a swerve, stay in La Barra.

Is one of the best, if not the best place to stay. I am Uruguayan and stayed with Chilean friends for some days, ended up extending it for more than a week. Despite minor issues, the best price-service by far in Punta. Go and enjoy! Lovely place.

Good place close to everything.

The place fascinated us, we went with 8 friends, environment, quality of services, cleaning, bed, a bar made to new wonderful!.
Swimming pool with wave hammock, kitchen, Wi-Fi free, providing bikes, really can not be required more!.

They canceled a booking for 40 people alleging that they were going to work and it was a lie. Then they reserved it to another group. Total lack of respect, ethics and professionalism. Unfortunate and distressing.

Dormitory at $10 without lunch the least expensive of the city hot shower, swimming pool, kitchen and the place is pretty.
On the other hand the staff is a bit of crap, not smiling and super amiable you will tell me we do not care, but QD we see a staff gar clean a work plan of the kitchen with a broom and state leave by the guests it is said that the staff are part of the Guest.
In short for the price we go.

A beautiful, clean and care hostel. Friendly staff, and excellent predisposition. If I go back to the East, it would undoubtedly stay at F & F.

Very nice place, friendly people, lots to do. Minor issue: as all rooms face the central living area and there's music playing all day and evening, don't expect to have a quiet room. Great decor and facilities.

It was the best hostel we've ever stayed at. The location, staff, room, atmosphere and just about everything was perfect. We had an amazing time in Punta del este and the hostel was definitely a big part of it. I would highly recommend this hostel :).

Nice staff, great facilities, great location, the rooms are clean and comfortable. All in all, this is one of the cleanest and friendliest hostels I've stayed at.

I was in February! The excellent place could improve some things but this tremendous place to party.
