Had a lovely birthday meal … fantastic food especially the steak pie.

Absolutely beautiful food and service… The food quality and portion sizes are second to none. The staff are attentive and pleasant nothing is too much trouble. Will be back again!

Just had lunch today, absolutely beautiful!. I had a Sunday lunch, it was massive… roasts were 💯, so much beef I thought I'd be taking it home in a doggy bag, but no I'm a pig and scoffed the lot. My partner had the lasagna and said it was better than mine, (ex partner) 🤣.

We stayed at The Busfeild for 3 nights this week. Absolutely stunning place to stay. Our room had a 4 poster bed and was a large well kept clean room with an en suite. There was a breakfast room beside the bedrooms and it was very well stocked with a help yourself buffet. A cooked breakfast was also available. We dined in The Busfeild in the evenings & the food was delicious. Every member of staff we met were very very helpful and a credit to management. There is a free car park with ample spaces for cars. We will definitely stay again.

We came yesteday, I have not been for years and my partner has never been. Food was good pub grub and Nicole who served us for a couple of hours never stopped smiling with the best customer service… If carlberg did waitresses 👌 thank you Nicole wish all pubs /restaurants had staff like you 👏

Been tonight after seeing statuses on Facebook. Meal was lovely, along with staff and service. Great atmosphere around pub with folk in there. Will definitely go again. We actually had a right laugh with folk in there tonight and if you were in tonight you will know who you are.

Went out for lunch yesterday and thought we would try the Busfeild Arms. So glad we did. My steak & ale pie was the best I've had in a long time and both my husband & son loved the burgers. Youngest actually ate all his pizza and chips! Would have liked to have stayed longer but had to be somewhere. We will definately be going back soon.

Lovely food, great cosy atmosphere with lovely wood burning fire. Been twice now and I’m sure we will be back again.

We had a voucher to use up. We got 3 meals and 2 desserts. The food was fantastic. The cheesecake portion was a bit on the small side for the price of it.

This is an amazing place to eat and drink. The food is outstanding, the service fabulous and the food simply brilliant. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

At last… Four of us visited the Busfield Arms in East Morton on Saturday the 8th of September (2018). We have been to the Busfield Arms before but things have definitely improved. We all chose different things from the menu. Every meal was cooked to perfection. The wine was beautiful, the Timothy Taylor beer was off the scale, obviously kept in just the right conditions in the cellar. The waiters and waitresses were excellent, constantly looking around for any sign from the diners as to whether they were needed. This was only due to the excellent training that they must have received. At last, an English restaurant that can deliver the goods, excellent food, great wine and beer and fantastic service.

Couldn't fault this lovely pub. Stayed just one night but warm welcome, great pub food, beautifully decorated and comfortable room. Didnt want to leave.

A lovely but busy pub/restaurant in a beautiful location. This place is residential and a good spot if you are visiting the Yorkshire Dales. Great choice of beers and food, reasonably priced. Good car parking facilities and sitting out area. Friendly and helpful staff. A great place to visit.

A lovely local pub with friendly welcoming staff. A nice selection of beers and good food — they'll put on a spread for special occasions. The Saltaire Blonde is beautiful after a long walk and is always poured to perfection here — wish I'd taken a photo of it before I drank it, it looked like it could of been in an advert! Would visit again if I'm on the area.

Lovely traditional pub, excellent food and staff. Our room was gorgeous and very clean. We would have preferred the breakfast with the room to be a full English instead of a Continental breakfast but other than that we've had a wonderful stay.

Lovely pub in a lovely place. Really looking forward to Sunday lunch as last time we went it was great. However Sunday roast very disappointing… husband had roast beef which looked grey, pre sliced and warmed up. The roast potatoes were stale and reheated. I had roast lamb which was of a similar vein. The Yorkshire was massive and lovely and crispy but would have been nice to have a little jug of extra gravy as it was quite dry. The accompanying veg were nice. The pud which we shared was lovely. I don’t like being negative but have to be truthful. All the other food looked fantastic however … maybe will choose something else next time.

Busy locals bar and great beers on tap. Menu also pretty extensive and nice coal fire barside. Restaurant also. B&B very good quality accommodation. Help yourself to plenty of cold breakfast options and cafetieres of coffee in kitchen adjoining upstairs bedrooms.

Love love love this place, glad my son has moved back to east Morton after 3 years, it will now be his local and mine when I visit monthly from Stockport xxx.

Not really dog friendly, will accept if you're happy to stand in front of bar!

Saw this place on 4 in a bed and thought we would give it a try. Gorgeous room. Bed was so comfy. Decor was beautiful with lots of little touches that enhanced it.
Bit disappointed that cooked breakfast not included but there was a generous continental breakfast. We stayed for dinner which was gorgeous. All staff lovely and helpful.

Food & service was fantastic, very pleasant staff made us all feel very welcome thank you.

The Busfeild Arms is a lovely pub and restaurant with three large guest rooms. The rooms are each styled differently and all are finished to a high standard. Although the rooms are situated above the restaurant and bar guests are not disturbed by noise. Food served in the restaurant and bar is excellent with something to every taste. Children are also catered for. The hospitality of the staff is excellent and we have found that they are always pleased to help from before your stay to the end. The wife and I have stayed here on numerous occasions and will do again. We would both highlh recommend to anyone. Booking in advance, for either guest rooms or the restaurant, is highly recommended as the Busfeild Arms is extremely popular and always busy.

We stay here regularly as we have family in East Morton and Harrogate — we love this place; great customer service, great rooms and great food, what more can one ask for!

We had our departmental Christmas lunch there. Nice homely pub / restaurant. Good service, good food.

Lovely welcoming atmosphere and pleasant staff. We ordered a variety of food, and all enjoyed the meal. I had the seabass, which s beautiful. They were very accomodating with substitutions. There was a little hiccup with the bill but soon rectified.

The Busfield Arms is a great country pub in a lovely little village. The food is excellent both in the bar and restaurant. There is always a good selection of local ales.

Visited here for the first time with our friends and family. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was fantastic, and great value. Large helping sizes too! My only advise is that for weekends, book an early table, as it gets very busy! Well recommended — will definitely go back.

Just watched 4 in a bed, loves the couple who runs this place. They are easy, fair and real people! Not sure what is the room price now, hope I much increase after the show, and really want to have a visit there!

Food really good staff helpful, lovely place to eat nice atmosphere.

Just had a meal and have to say that to call it mediocre is being very generous. I ordered pate and fish and chips on the early bird menu. The pate was OK. The fish and chips with mushy peas was delivered in a basket. I asked for a plate and it was returned to me on a plate. The mushy peas were burnt and there was a piece of the basket in amongst the chips. I complained to the waiter who collected our plates but received no comeback. I asked for the bill to find that not only was there no discount for the burnt peas or the foreign body amongst my chips but they had charged me full rate for the early bird menu. I once again complained and a supervisor did come to see me and corrected the bill for the early bird discount but was only prepared to credit me the cost of a pint of beer for the problems with my meal. It will be a long time before we eat here again!

If you like dormitory style dining then you'll be ok. My real ale must have been pulled by a southerner… :/ Probably a one off but?

Great restaurant with an excellent menu. God is always nice as are the staff. Bar is always busy for such a small village but friendly and welcoming.

Lovely home-cooked food; very competitively priced (early bird menu 17:30 to 18:30 priced at £12.95 for 2 courses). Good portion size, nice options on kids menu and well kept local hand-pulled ales (Timothy Taylor's and Saltaire Brewery at time of writing). Coupled with friendly and helpful staff, and an atmosphere which spoke of relaxed and contented customers, we'll definitely be back. Don't expect meals to be out in minutes… freshly prepared food of this quality can take a little time to appear. Lovely pub.

Lovely old pub. Came here for an overnight stay for my birthday with my husband. We had a lovely sunny afternoon in the beer garden, with a few drinks. A very nice evening meal followed, from an extensive menu, well cooked, nice bottle of wine. The service was good & staff were helpful & friendly, especially Steve. We had a lovely four poster room & a good cooked breakfast in the morning. Would like to come here again!

Would have put plus plus after the stars if it had let me — me and my mum go here every week never had a bad meal all home cooked absolutely the best also the staff are so helpful and friendly can't do enough for you so well done all the staff at the Busfield Arms.

Great gastro pub. Well divided between eating and drinking areas, so you feel like you're in a pub when you want to drink and a restaurant when you want to eat. Good food and friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating area and small beer garden. Lovely hanging baskets in summer. Also very nice rooms for those looking to stay over.

Ever since the place was bought privately and reinvestment was put back into the Busfeild Arms, it just grows into a better and better local pub each day. Their restaurant and bar food is great quality and most ingredients are locally sourced. Although you may get a little shock on the price for pub food, you'll understand why they can charge a premium once you taste the quality and soak in the atmosphere. Especially great place to be now that they've open up the fire place!
