Absolutely brilliant. So great to have our wedding here.

14 guests with a variety of different dishes ordered from the menu, most of which arrived smothered in pepper. The desserts arrived and we're edible but being only luke warm meant they weren't as enjoyable as expected.

Beautiful food and staff are very friendly. Son due have wedding here in June so looking forward to it. Keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍

Id my wedding there yesterday. I was absolutely amazed how lovely the staff and mangers where. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms where amazing and clean. The food was outstanding. Dj did a really good job. Simone was outstanding and so lovely.

Amazing views in a quiet and very peaceful surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they even arranged to have extra touches added to our room on our arrival. We can thoroughly recommend staying here, the room was luxurious, welcoming, warm and very well equipped for our stay. Brilliant nights sleep. Couldn’t hear any other guests, unlike most hotels. Comfortable bed. Nice touches in the room. Will definitely stay again. Great views. Peaceful and quiet outside.

Lovely place in a quiet setting nice local pub down the road for drinks and excellent food. Rooms are clean and comfy only thing I can say is the cooked breakfast wasn't very nice 😔 and over priced.

One night stop off after Leeds and onto South Wales. Remote hotel but with a high point view over the area. Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Food in restaurant was good as was the breakfast. No complaints a descent place to stay.

The staff were the most helpful, and friendly I have met. They could not have done anymore to make my partner, myself and our little Jack Russell feel any more welcome They even opened the bar, in the morning, so we could have our breakfast with the dog. Wonderful.

My granddaughter got married there and what a day! They couldn't do more than they did to make it so special, a truly beautiful wedding. The food was first-class and the staff were out of this world. I would certainly recommend Pennine Manor for a wedding venue.

This hotel is not the fanciest, but it's got heart. The staff are exactly the people you want to run a hotel. There were two weddings in two days while I was there, and everything was clean by each morning after. Furthermore, I didn't hear anything from my room, and I kept the windows open my entire stay. My room was clean as was the bathroom. I truly appreciate the extra favour they afforded me when my luggage was delayed 6 days at various airports. I had room 29 and found it to be spacious and we'll laid out. It was far from the lobby, but right by the fire exit that allowed easy access to the parking lot on two different sides. The food was lovely, and thanks to the bar manager, I have a new favorite cider. In fact, each of his recommendations we're spot on. I understand why they host so many weddings, everyone and everything is simply lovely there.

Enjoyed a very good night on the Eat and Sleep deal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was extremely good and although the hotel is looking a little tired it is in a beautiful location. The room was quite small and again the decor was looking tired but it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Amazing views from this wonderful location. Really enjoy the relative remoteness of this hotel yet conveniently close enough to Huddersfield's amenities. The staff are polite and helpful. Although I have had better Yorkshire hospitality locally. The hotel is a little dated, although it has its charm. The largest downside is the small bathrooms, just not suitable for modern usage. The three stars this stay is mainly due to the service not being comparable to my previous stays. I think this was due to them being busy. Feedback was provided directly to reception at checkout, impassive as they may have seemed, it's up to them.

Had a great time! Stayed last night for a Sleep and Dine. Staff friendly and very efficient both in reception and restaurant for evening meal and breakfast this morning. Food was excellent and so was menu choice. Definitely recommend it and definitely will be going back.

Love this place. Staff are friendly, professional and more than happy to help. Food is delicious and nicely presented. Beds are comfy with crisp white bed linen & rooms are spotlessly clean. We will be back again soon. Nic, we missed you on our last visit.

Had our 1st anniversary meal here as we got married here. Loved it then and love it now… what a great place to make you feel welcome. Even got a free glass of prosecco each.

The views are amazing and there is plenty of parking. It is easy access to the motorway so you can go there for either an overnight stay or make it into a long weekend. Had an evening meal there which was very tasty, I had the rissoto which I would recommend. The room was pleasant and the beds were very comfortable the only thing that let the stay down was the lack of toiletries, however my friend forgot her tooth brush and the hotel came to her rescue.

Clean lovely setting and friendly staff mostly! The male manager was especially attentive and nice. Food lovely! Would highly recommend and would happily eat here again. Just a few bits of missed attention to detail from a couple of the staff that weren't so helpful. Mainly in the bar. Bed comfortable rooms small, but well equipped and did the job.

The atmosphere here is amazing all the staff are really warm and friendly. Rooms are a great size couldn't have asked for a better place to attend a wedding.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Overnight guest as working locally. Stay in alot of hotels due to job and this is a hotel I would revisit in own time with the wife. Recommend.

Lovely location for a hotel. We stayed her while I had day surgery at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and the staff were really kind to me. The food in the restaurant is great. Be warned that in cold weather the car park can get icy, or slippery. However the staff will do their very best to make it driveable!

I've visited a couple of times and I can honestly say that customer care is top notch. I've had no problems at all. Highly recommended.

I've stayed here many times, I even got married here. Great views, easy parking, clean and comfortable rooms, and great food. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Really lovely position overlooking Huddersfield. Old style property in need of some refurbishment but with extremely friendly staff and delicious food. Homely and welcoming.

I have stayed here on many occasions and it is a lovely friendly hotel with nice staff. The rooms are well equipped with very comfortable beds. The actual location is outstanding with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside.

We went here for 1 night stay, the food is 5star we had the lamb and I have to say it was the best meal we had ever had. The champagne was spot on too! There was a few things that did let it down for us. There was a wedding party … understood for this time of year and it was a small gathering however they were transporting all of the things up to the room that was next to us past midnight slamming the door lots of times for approximately half an hour which sounded like it was in our room we did hear staff and they had no respect for other stayers. We shouldn't have been placed next to them… We were wakened at 5am by a van trying to start and people talking loudly outside the hotel overall a pretty poor night sleep, the room wasn't big either we have stayed in London for the same price and got twice the size room at better standard… hygiene wise it was just satisfactory… Would have been a 2 or less if the food and drink was mediocre.

If you like a view from a hotel then this is the place to go. Almost a 360 view of the whole of West Yorkshire into Lancashire and Derbyshire. The hotel itself is quite a grand stone building. The inside looks like it's been recently painted. The colours are nice but I wouldn't say they're the right ones for the rooms. As the windows are not big there's not much natural light so the dark colours are a bit gloomy. The furniture is somewhat tired in the rooms and especially the bar and restaurant. That said the bathrooms have been modernised and are nice and clean. Overall it was a nice stay, quiet and very well priced.

Went to look as a wedding venue — Lucy who dealt with us was fantastic, and we were pleasantly surprised with what the hotel had to offer! Definitely one to consider!

Room well decorated, clean and all facilities excellent. Price was very reasonable considering I booked only a few days previous for a Saturday night for the style of hotel, location etc. Restaurant staff were very warm and welcoming and food was very nice.

Called for dinner after reserving a table. Found it all set up and ready. The drinks were fine as was the food. Three courses and drinks worked out at about £22 per person including a tip. Service was good considering they were having a big birthday party in the main restaurant. Will go there again.

Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Amazing views for miles and miles even has a helicopter landing pad, but I left mine and home and came by car! The only downside is my friend was in a wheelchair and we had struggles getting through the hotel with all the doors as I was pushing the wheelchair. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay, rooms were lovely and the staff were brilliant. We were told the bar would be open all night for guests though which wasn't the case. I was at a wedding and they shut the bar at 2 after some convincing.

We went for fathers day and the food was absolutely fantastic. Drinks were average hotel priced and the staff were incredibly friends.

Another super stay at Pennine Manor. Nicholas was super efficient as always. And the menu is superb the food fantastic can't say better than that.

Quite nice. Nothing special. The main issue I had is that they didn't sell Latte and just had filter coffee on offer.

Small but comfortable room. Breakfast was good, but they were nowhere near ready to serve it at 7:30

Had a fantastic weekend with friends, excellent food, excellent service and excellent value. All the staff made us feel welcomed throughout our stay.
