Great location in the town centre. Ideal for Venue 73, restaurants and bars also walking in the area.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and large portions. The setting by the canal was nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Held my daughters wedding there nice rooms and venue lovely staff all very friendly food good too would use again.

I stayed here recently as I was in the area for a training course the hotel was clean quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would def recommend and will be staying again when Im back in the area for more training.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Excellent meal in Prego restaurant. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Lovely wedding venue — well laid out for ceremony, reception and evening event. Comfy bed in executive rooms. Good breakfast buffet with plentiful hot and cold choices.

Excellent hotel. Warm welcome on arrival. All staff we met spoke and made us feel very welcome. We were at an event and the evening meal was wonderful, excellent service even though there were almost 100 of us. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Finished off by a top notch breakfast.

2 stars for service otherwise would be 4 stars minimum. Food really nice and restaurant great but 50 minutes between courses and being ignored by staff ruined the experience. We were told there would be a slight delay which is fine but there was no urgency or apologies which is not acceptable.

Always a friendly welcome from staff, delicious food with an exciting menu; all in all a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended.

This review relates to the Prego restaurant only as we did not stay at the hotel. We chose this restaurant on a spur of the moment when visiting Brighouse. In a nutshell the place was superb. The atmosphere was brilliant with clearly a lot of regular customers being greeted by the owners. The menu was extensive with great options for all tastes and a fulsome number of specials available also. The food came quickly and was one of the best Italian meals my wife and I have experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone, it is family friendly with good service and great attention to detail, also great value for money.

The Prego Italian restaurant under waterfront lodge is mint service for and all staff were great defo going back well done to you all.

Comfy hotel. Executive rooms are compact but very clean and bed was good. Great location, 5 mins walk to the station and town centre, makes this a very good choice for business and visitors.

Decent enough hotel at the price, with a fantastic breakfast way above its price range.

Welcoming at reception, room ok if a little small, (ok very small). Bathroom ok, breakfast excellent, just ask for a little less hollandaise sauce on the eggs florentine. The executive rooms sound nice. Didn't eat in the Prego Restaurant. Would go back. Good value.

Had a very enjoyable stay 7th October breakfast was brilliant and hot how they do that for the money beggars belief staff were very helpful Room was comfortable but could do with a couple of additions like more space to put things and a bottle of water to fill kettle as you could not fill from sink without using a cup but I'm splitting hairs slept well would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Really friendly family run hotel in a converted mill. A pleasant change from the international chains. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Restaurant had good menu well presented. It did get a bit noisy though — too many hard surfaces.

Very pleasant hotel. Seems that some rooms are not as good as others due to noise from extractor fan. Our room overlooked the water and we slept very well… it would have been great to be able to open the windows as it did get quite stuffy.

Upgraded to an executive room and it's huge with an extremely comfortable bed. Had a meal in the Prego restaurant which was lovely. Parking is a bit of a nightmare as the car park outside is free after 6pm so gets very full till about 9pm. Would definitely stay again.

Attended for my Birthday dinner with partner. Ate starter and Main course on Early Bird Menu. Food and service were exceptional. Wine also good.

Lovely wedding reception venue, loads of polite, attentive staff, and plush, clean facilities. I was impressed by the waiter manning the buffet; when I asked if there was anything vegan, he immediately said he'd ask the chef, I had sat down happily munching on my plate of bread, olives, carrots and cucumber, when a plate of roasted sweet potato and asparagus arrived! Now that's excellent service ⭐️

Nice restaurant well cared for friendly staff, cousin is good the hotel leaves a little to be desired small and old room would need a restore! Good breakfast too!

We had a visit for our anniversary on Saturday-Sunday, it's a Lovely hotel, staff very welcoming, rooms nice, we had dinner, bed and breakfast, very good value for money. Food and service excellent. We pre booked our table when we booked the room so we only had a little wait, the food very nicely presented, staff in the restaurant at night where very busy but always gave time to speak. At breakfast time their is a lot of choice for breakfast its buffet style but u can help yourself to a full English etc.
This is our 2nd visit and we will definitely be coming back.
Would definitely recommend a stay here and food in the restaurant! Lots of nice bars in walking distance of the hotel too.

Food was very average. Not offensive but lacking any significant flavour. Service was pretty slow too.

Visited Prego restaurant — staff were overly attentive (they kept hovering around us and I lost count of the number of different people who came to ask us if the food was ok). Starter of caprese was lovely but the maim pasta with chIcken, asparagus, peas and spinach wasn't good. The chicken was like shop bought pieces, it didn't look like it came off a proper piece of chicken and the peas were too many and were like tinned peas.

Excellent Hotel We have stayed twice and on both occasions found the rooms faultless, the food excellent and the staff friendly and professional. Have booked for a two night stop over in February.

Generally nice place to be, but there are 2 down sites. No free parking space, and wi/fi isn't working! If you don't need those two then it's best value for money you can get.
