Very nice clean room and the bathroom is spotless. Very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee plentiful. Excellent breakfast.

We stay here every time we come to York lovely rooms helpful staff.

Stopped here for a few nights. Booked the premium room for a change. TBH there isn’t much difference just a couple of extra touches like a fridge and a bench where you can take off and put on shoes. Don’t know when the room was last dusted but there was dust everywhere, the soaps by the sink and in the shower were empty! Went to reception who delivered more but didn’t put them in the holders 🤦🏻‍♀️ so we had bottles all over the place. Due to ‘covid’ lame excuse now (I work in a hospital! ) there was no daily empty bins etcThe staff were friendlyThe bed needs a new mattress (we even turned it as it was uncomfortable) Not the best premier inn we’ve stopped inPlus side it’s in a good location for train station, town centre and loads of pubs and eateries.

I was badly bitten by fleas or bed bugs! And got an email reply to my telling them saying they would get back to me within 35 days!

Beautiful hotel we always stay here when we come to York — really can’t fault it. Beautiful clean rooms and close to everything you need.

The Viking rooms the building is completely grotty never seen a hoover in goodness knows how long. Zero Wi-Fi total tired and dated rooms only small positive is the location.

Would visit hotel again but id never ever book breakfast again I was so ill travelling home and all I fetched up was the breakfast it was rank.

The room was excellent. The breakfast big let down, at to wait more than half hour to be seen. The waitress was excellent and not her fault, I suggest the lady at front desk get of the pc and help the poor girls out. I know it strange times but get more staff to help those poor waitresses.

Stayed here over Christmas from Christmas Eve to the 27th having booked back in March. Great price for the 3 nights. We were given a family size room even though there was only 2 of us. Staff were polite, helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Room was clean and comfortable. On coming back from an evening out on Christmas Eve, staff were putting snowy footprints through the lobby to presents for the children's benefit. Would recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

This is a different premier but they dont seem to be coping with losing costa, sharing a restaurant with the other part is a shambles — it might not be if they had it properly/ fully staffed.

Always good service and the staff have a great attitude towards guests. Stayed a few times now, always consistent. Bm.

Did not like that you have to go outside to pub two doors for breakfast or evening meal in the rain. The car park very expensive £10 a day and no concessions for staying in hotel. The staff very friendly no problem with the rooms.

Came to York for our wedding anniversary, didn't have the best start (nothing to do with premiere inn) arrived for our stay late at night with amazing customer service as usual. The room was spacious and newly decorated and spotlessly clean, great by warm friendly staff in the morning with a good quality breakfast We had a fab day out and returned to our room to a fabulous surprise! A bottle of bubbly, beautiful roses and a huge box of chocolates for our Anniversary. This place never ceases to amaze us, no detail is over looked. A special thank you to Lisa and the premiere inn team for making our weekend.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and as with all premier inns we had a lovely stay. The room was beautifully clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful and food very tasty.
However, there was one problem. The first night I had been to sleep but was woken by a light flashing on and off. It was coming from the heating unit which was by the bed. I tried to switch it off but couldn't. It became apparent that this light was flashing constantly throughout the day and night and nothing would turn it off. Considering that premier inn pride themselves on giving all guests a good nights sleep this wasn't a good start. I think maybe if the heating unit had been placed near the door it wouldn't have been a problem, but by the bed it was torture.
