Lovely pub and staff, exceptional views.

Had a lovely family meal yesterday early evening, quality food and super friendly staff. Couldn’t fault it.

Just had a great 60th birthday weekend and a retirement weekend at the White Horse Farm Inn. Fabulously accommodating staff, the rooms are fresh, clean and warm with superb views. Well worth a visit.

A delicious meal was enjoyed after a very long wait! They were obviously short staffed! The ladies in front of house were very sympathetic and did their best. The owners must review the situation.

Just enjoyed a fabulous weekend with friends and could not recommend more highly the friendly staff at White Horse Farm Inn. Nigel and all his team are to be congratulated and made us feel very welcome. Charmagne looked after us all evening with her friendly service and lovely smile. A beautiful hotel in the heart of the Yorkshire moors. Wonderful views lovely breakfast snd brilliant staff.

We've just stayed in this beautiful Inn for two nights bed breakfast. My partner and I were made to feel so welcome the second we walked through the front door. The Inn itself is beautiful the rooms well designed decorated with breathtaking views. The rooms are immaculate and the beds are the best and most comfortable we've ever slept in. The staff here are so warm and friendly and nothing you ask is too much trouble for them. They really make you feel you've known them all your life. Personally we can't recommend this Inn and its rooms and staff high enough and can't wait til we can visit them again next year.

We stayed here Saturday night everything about this in. Was top notch the food the service and the bed is the best I’ve ever slept can’t wait to stay again fantastic and the best breakfast I’ve ever tasted.

A very clean welcoming hotel. Only arrived so unable to comment on food. If it’s anything like the accommodation, it will be absolutely fine.

Amazing views across Rosedale. Procedures in place for Covid made us feel safe. Service a little slow because of this but friendly and attentive staff. We visited a few times when camping for drinks and had a meal too. Food was good (amazing desserts! ). Decent range of drinks too.

We stayed using the pay 2 nights stay for 3. The staff are really friendly and the food was great with something different to have every night. Nothing was too much to ask. The room was spotless and there are great views across the valley from the bar and restaurant area. There is a good sized outdoor area with lovely views. We highly recommend the White Horse Farm and certainly intend visiting again.

Cozy friendly. Plenty of god food in a nice location. Even the little village below had nice Tea room.

Great location on the edge of Rosedale Village with great views, good food (large portions) and friendly service. Bedrooms were well appointed and looked like they had been decorated recently. Bathrooms were in good condition and clean if not a bit dated. Bar and dining rooms are fine and again a bit dated. They are trying hard to invest in the business. Great value with freshly cooked breakfast in the price. Watch out for deal, especially out of season and school holidays… we got 10% off.

Myself and my partner stayed at the White Horse Farm Inn for my 30th birthday. The food, staff and value for money all excellent. Would highly recommend for the stunning views of the dales too!

Great place, I've visited a few times over the years and it's still the best pub grub I've had. Always a great pint too. I'll be back in the summer!

After a 12k gruelling walk, the pub we'd planned to eat at was closed and this place was suggested to us. Would highly recommend. Excellent Sunday roast and we indulged with desserts and coffee. Lovely place and lovely staff.

On balance a 3. Went in Friday and it was busy and the food was beautiful from a big menu. Decided to go again on the Sunday… DON'T. Seems it's chefs day off. The menu was a bit of A4 paper with roasts on, children's menu was chicken nuggets or scampi. I asked if they could have a small roast — 'no its pre prepared' she said. And so it was. Three slices of pre prepared beef that was ok but nothing special. Portion was small, but better than the nine chips and five cheap greasy nuggets my son got — with no veg at all. The most miserable plate. Of food I've seen for years. Daughters scampi was nice and came with some salad — obviously not nugget accompaniment. I decided. To hang on for a dessert and chose the creme brule. My wife raved about it on Friday… mine was straight from the fridge with a soggy top. And same price of course… I think mine host knew. On Friday all smiles and asked how was the food. He shamefully didn't bother to ask when taking the money for Sundays offering. Such a contrast. Brilliant Friday but woeful on Sunday. You've been warned.
