What a lovely friendly place to stay. Andrew and Lucinda are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble, rooms and house spotless, breakfast was fantastic. Only there for 2 nights but made to feel very comfortable and welcome.

A fantastic place to stay. Was our first holiday with our lab pup and we felt very welcomed by Andrew and Lucinda. As hosts they couldn't have done more. Rooms are great with off street parking. Great outdoor area to take dogs for a walk too and close to a pub. Breakfasts are fantastic, even Leyla (puppy) got her own sausage! Would definately recommend to anyone who wants to have a break with their pooch.

Excellent stay. We stopped 5 nights and was very surprised by the attention to detail. Rooms spotless, bathroom had a fantastic shower and nicely laid out, breakfast excellent nothing to much trouble.
Lucinda and Andrew have just started evening meals. We stopped twice and was surprised by the quality of food and size of the portions. The wine and beer excellent. Staff Lucinda and Andrew made us and all the other guests so welcome.
Superb find and will be back.

Lovely friendly guest house off the main road through the village in a rural setting with plenty of outdoor space for your doggie guests to have a sniff around. Was lovely to see well behaved dogs welcomed at breakfast and enjoy a sausage. Our room was spotless and spacious. Thank you.

We stayed here and what a hidden gem this is. The owners made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was beautiful and the service was amazing. The dogs were spoilt and had their own breakfast! The home made lemon cake was too die for! With covid they had everything spot on and it was a very safe environment. Thanks again.

Very nice rooms, friendly hosts and fantastic breakfast.

I visited here with my husband and our two dogs for 3 nights in August. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. If you need a B&B in this area, and you have dogs, this is a fantastic little place to stay. They had treats and towels in the room for the dogs, and you can take your dogs out first thing into the orchard for a little run around before breakfast. The dogs are given their own freshly cooked chopped up sausage at breakfast, which our two obviously loved! The only criticism I would give, is that I think they should wait until the humans have finished their breakfast before bringing out the dogs sausages. On our third morning, they brought the dogs sausages out half way through our breakfast, and another dog happened to walk past the window at the same time, so our dogs then went mental trying to warn this other dog off their sausages!
The human breakfasts were very tasty and of a really good standard/quality. There was fresh strawberry and melon to have with yoghurt, and a lovely selection of homemade jams for your toast. The cooked breakfast was minimal in size, but absolute top notch in taste!
The room was a good size with a massive bed, and everything was very clean and as you would expect it to be.
Unfortunately the tea room that they ran had closed shortly before we visited, and I was gutted I was going to miss out on lucindas lemon cake, but bless her, she brought some up to our room one afternoon because I had mentioned I had wanted some!

What a lovely welcoming place, I would recommend this to any with or without a dog. Rooms are lovely and the beds are so comfortable breakfast was fantastic, set us up for the day. Thank you for all the great advice do places to visit! And thank you for the lift Thank you for a great stay and we will definitely be back!

One of the best if not 'THE BEST' B&B accommodation we have ever stayed in. We were given a very friendly welcome and offered tea and cake which was was really appreciated after a long drive. Our large room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable! Andrew and Lucinda are great hosts and very welcoming. We loved it so much as soon as we got home we sorted out some dates and made a booking for a longer stay later in the year. Thank you Lucinda and Andrew, see you you again in September.

Fantastic place to stay. Rooms are well decorated, our bed was large and comfortable. Staff were brilliant. We'd been walking the Yorkshire Wolds way and were picked up along the route and taken there the next day which was really helpful for us. Breakfast was fantastic, there's a selection of local jams, marmalade & excellent lemon curd. We were also provided a packup lunch for walking which was much appreciated.

We were looking for accommodation that would allow our dog 'Louie to stay with us as we wanted to introduce him to the beach. And what a gem we found. Very friendly, clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast. We hope to return again this year for another short break in a lovely area. If you're looking for a B&B that accomodates well behaved dogs and top quality service, then 'Orchard Lodge' is the place. Thank you both very much. Rob, Pam & Louie (Derby).

Everyone at Orchard Lodge Tea Rooms was wonderful, helpful and warm. We had a small gathering of friends for High Tea (with Fizz) and they catered for 24 guests beautifully, promptly and efficiently. The owners are lovely people, very friendly and even showed us around the guest house (which has beautiful bedrooms and is pet friendly). Thank you so much for the piano playing and the wonderful birthday we had with you.

I had a really lovely stay with Andrew and Lucinda this week at Orchard Lodge. They were perfect hosts — friendly, full of useful advice, maps and leaflets, and they graciously accommodated my preference for a late breakfast (which was delicious and beautifully prepared. ) The large room had a massive comfy bed with lovely soft bed linen and pillows — a touch of luxury. The real star of the show was the wonderfully modern bathroom with large walk-in shower — one of the reasons I booked in the first place. It lived up to expectations! The Lodge is perfectly located to explore the Wolds and the East Yorkshire coast — I really enjoyed my three night Yorkshire minibreak, and would happily stay at Orchard Lodge again.

Our hosts, Andrew and Lucinda, were very obliging and happy to pick us up and drop us off on the route. Lots of home made produce to enjoy at breakfast. A pot of tea and coffee cake on arrival was a lovely welcome. Would highly recommend.

Unbelievable guest house, the owners can't do enough for you, rooms excellent beds so comfy, the breakfast is to die for and great customer service from everyone. Dog friendly to so anyone looking for a great place to stay you've found it.

As a lady traveller alone just had the most fantastic 2 night stay with Andrew and Lucinda they could not have made me feel more welcome and gave me alot of ideas of places to visit. I will definitely be returning. The guest house immaculate best walk in shower lovely breakfasts.

Dog freindly and human freindly with great rooms with luxorious ensuites. You are really well taken care of and a wide range of outstanding foods included with a cooked breakfast. Everything you would expect from a excellent run and well appointed B&B, and a good bit more.

Stayed here New years eve for the 2nd year in a row now. Booked already for next year. Orchard Lodge is a wonderfully warm, welcoming lodge set in a wonderful charming village. Andrew and Lucinda are just the best hosts, make you feel at home the minute you arrive. Once checked in we were offered tea and homemade cake in the snug which is a lovely touch. The rooms are amazing. Decorated to a very high standard with attention to detail. Great facilities teas, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies, even a bottle of prosecco for the New Year. The breakfast is superb, fresh eggs from their own hens all produce is local, not to mention homemade jams and apple juice. Stayed in many hotels in Scarborough over the years, I can honestly say that Orchard Lodge go that extra mile, you will leave feeling like friends.

Wonderful place! Not just dog friendly but actively welcomes/encourages dogs. Wonderful breakfast with homemade produce (and doggie sausages) and attention to detail second to none. Made to feel part of the family right from the start. Highly recommended!

Incredibly welcoming and accommodating particularly on Christmas Day. The room was excellent with a fantastic king sized bed and lovely bath. Andrew and Lucinda had even left us a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the holidays. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and amazing apple juice pressed from apples from their own orchard. Overall one of the most friendly and comfortable B&Bs we’ve ever stayed in.

From start to finish, our stay at Orchard Lodge was first class. We were warmly welcomed by Andrew and Lucinda (and their two lovely black labs) and shown to our spacious room with lovely ensuite facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was enormous. Breakfast was served in the well-appointed dining room and was delicious. My wife and I both had a cooked breakfast with eggs provided by the resident hens. What’s more, the location of Orchard Lodge is perfect, with easy access to Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington and only a few miles from the North Yorkshire Moors. Thank you both for making our stay something very special. We will recommend to friends and will be sure to return!

Lovely well appointed rooms. Very stylishly decorated and comfortable. Run by a friendly couple who work hard to ensure your stay with them is the best.

Orchard Lodge was the perfect place to propose to my partner! Lovely area and a lovely atmosphere. I pre-booked and said it was an engagement, they went out of their way to make things perfect! Rose petals on the bed and a bottle of prosecco on ice in the room! Such personal service from the owners from check in and so friendly! The next morning breakfast was incredible, all locally sourced (even the jam and marmalade was homemade! ), home cooked and even a glass of fizz to celebrate the occasion! I can't recommend enough!

Very warm welcome, excellent facilities and bathroom. Breakfast was superb, with decaffeinated tea and coffee. On site free parking too.

A fantastic find. The hosts could not do enough for us, even surprising us with a bottle of Prosecco when they realised it was our Anniversary. Maggie (our dog) was made very welcome with treats on arrival and a sausage each morning with breakfast. Orchard Lodge itself is spotless, the rooms are spacious, beds enormous and comfy and the cooked breakfasts were lovely with endless toast, tea & coffee if required. If we are ever up this way again this will be the place we will come to. Thank you for a fabulous weekend at Orchard Lodge.

Lovely friendly place I have a caravan not far away but have called for tea and beautiful cream scones with home made jam, sat out in the garden on our first visit and sampled the panninis they were delicious will be a regular stop off point will recommend to anyone.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Very welcoming owners who have worked hard to get the bedroom looking great and feeling comfortable. Great shower and huge bed in the room we stayed in. Nice breakfast too with a good choice of alternatives. Owners were very accommodating to everyone's diets and needs too. Would definitely stay here again.
