Great oldy world pub with loads of atmosphere and great bar staff, thanx Dan. Lovely room, well stocked with T and coffee biscuits etc, nice comfy bed. Definitely stay again 👌

Had the best time staying here this weekend. Dan and Lisa couldn’t have done more for us — they were so welcoming and gave the place such a homely feel. Would highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor space was second to none. We will be back ☺️

If you are staying in the holiday cottages opposite, the staff are happy to get your drinks during the Covid period. Very nice staff and happy to oblige.

Just been to this gorgeous cosy pub for Sunday lunch and I have to say it was the best I've had in a very long time, I didn't want it to end, everything was so tasty and cooked to perfection.

Just come back after spending 5 nights here fantastic owner room good and clean breakfest great as I had boiled egg and solders on my last day brill. Tony was great with dylan my dog bonos everyday. There was only one draw back and that was not doing evening meals every night.

Awesome pub in hunton, traditional stone pub, with all the interior trappings of a traditional country pub. Friendly locals and well kept beer.

Having stayed here twice I can highly recommend both the service and the accomodation. Our first stay was for 3 days and 1 year later stayed for 5 days. Tony is a host who cannot do enough to ensure your stay is as relaxed and as pleasant as possible. A great place to base yourself whilst exploring the dales. Will endevour to stay again next tme we are in the UK.

Good choice of drinks. Draught beers looked after well. Bar staff friendly. Toilets clean and fresh. Country style decor in keeping with the village location. Reasonable prices.

We have just had a great few days at the Countryman's. It is a perfect base for exploring the Dales villages and Tony made us very welcome. There are at least 3 excellent Pub/ Restaurants within 3 miles of Hunton so we were well catered for. Good value for money.

Stayed here overnight. The landlord was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us very spacious room and ensuite very clean. Bar lovely. Would definitely recommend great for families too we travelled with our little boy easy to get to from neighbouring Bedale, Leyburn, Middleham etc.

A country Inn, in a peaceful village. Good selection of ales. Clean room and a cracking cooked breakfast.

We stayed the night and found the room to be very clean and comfortable. It was very spacious and homely and there was plenty of space to accommodate our dog. The pub itself is very welcoming, dog friendly and has a great selection of local Ales and great pub food. The breakfast was also very good. We will definitely return again. Thank you Tony.

I have been to the countryman's Inn on many occasions and never been disappointed. We went today for Sunday lunch with two people who are chiefs themselves and even they said that is was 5 star all the way! Jason and Donner are fantastic and their food and hospitality are amazing. If you haven't tried their Sunday lunch please do as there to die for! you certainly wouldn't be disappointed!

We stayed here for one night in family room which was easily spacious enough for all 5 of us. V clean room with nice bathroom. Food tasty and hotel staff v helpful. Couldn't ask for anymore. Definitely recommend this place.

Over night stay group of three couples, Would recommend this accommodation, the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms VERY clean and comfortable, we ate in, food was delicious, especially the garlic mushrooms! Tony and his staff provide a warm homely atmosphere. Breakfast was absolutely marvelous, not greasy, just perfect, Has a group we all decided that we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a lovely welcome.

Popped in randomly with the wife. First words out of my mouth when asked what I wanted to order, I said "the menu" and going on what I had well worth going back and trying the rest of the menu. Beyond that the staff are great and the prices are pretty good too I think the bangers and mash was £8:95 or £9:95 and well well worth it. The dessert was amaretto cheese cake for about £5 again well worth it. The wife had sea food pasta with mussels, prawns and fish chunks with dill sauce which was about £11 great value. She also had the fruit crumble again about £5 and taste very good and presented in a terracotta type dish. All in all two mains and two starters with a large glass of wine and a bitter shandy cost £38:65. Personally I think well worth it and well worth not only going back but worth trying if you haven't already.

Good fun for a drink all so good food as well, enjoy.
