My son came yesterday for his pe lesson as his school has already closed to his school year great price and he had so much fun.

Had a lovely lunch today at Grange Park, Staff were very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Food was great. Love the new look too.
We will be returning for lunches in the future. Thank you once again x.

Met the owners today. They are so lovely and very welcoming.
Had a good chat with them as me and my partner getting married there this year!

Lovely Sunday lunch with family. Excellent service and great value for money.

My son took his golf clubs and enjoyed the 9 hole course and the driving range. We also went fishing, £5, lots of fish. The only difficulty is a semi permanent resident, my children’s tennis ball went under their van, they made quite a scene. Later in the week my daughter and son were playing football, and the female threatened to stab the football, it was not even near their van. We reported this, but as we were leaving the next day do not know if any action was taken. Children do like to play, but this couple acted as though they ruled the campsite.

I was in on 24/08/20199 for a family wedding an absolutely fantastic venue food excellent service with a smile and the hospitality from one staff member in particular a lady by the name of Georgina was absolutely superb and was made to feel at home as my grandson and I wore full Scottish highland dress it is pleasure to give 10 out of 10 this venue Davie Shields.

We’ve been going to Grange Park for over 10 years with our caravan, usually 3-4 times a year. Just been down to book for next weekend for 4 nights and was absolutely gobsmacked at these prices. I’ve worked it out that if we include my daughter and grandson who’s 15, plus the dog, awning and 2-3 cars you’re talking well over 30 quid a night. That’s ridiculous. This time of year especially when it’s nice and warm, it’s normally packed out down there. There was one solitary car…avan parked up with 2 just leaving. I wonder why… The new owners need to get their act together and sort these prices out pretty sharpish. We definitely won’t be visiting again until they do. It’s a shame because we’ve always loved caravanning at Grange Park. I’d love to know how much they’re losing in revenue at the clubhouse as well. We can’t be the only people who go there for meals and drinks etc whilst there…

Me and my family went here for Mother’s Day. We would just like to say that it was one of the best carvery’s we have ever had.
Everything cooked to perfection and such a friendly atmosphere along with fabulous attentive staff.

Standard hotel but staff are very helpful. Really good barman. Breakfast could be better. Seems understaffed at times.

Stayed here for a week while working away. Housekeeping was very good (a bit of a thing for me). Breakfast was nice. Room a good size with all you need for a stay away from home. Room service was good and food very tasty. They could do with more staff as sometimes you are waiting at the bar and there is no one around. There was a particularly good barman on duty during the week. He knew how to pour drinks correctly and had good knowledge about each of the drinks available. Plenty of parking available too.

A lovely place where I attended my nieces wedding with great food lovely staff and very organised.

Got a good deal onlineFree swim jacuzzi etc. Nice food and room. Bathroom dated but servicable. Only slight downside was that we are a relatively young couple and felt like we were eating in an oaps home. The average age of everyone else was about 75! Though pleasant it was not a romantic venue for our anniversary!

The afternoon tea was nice 12 finger sandwiches were great but only 3 type of fillings. Cheese / egg / tuna / prawn would of been nice. The cakes were nice especially the almond slice however the same creme was inside the vanilla slice, (custard) strawberry tart (jelly) and for the scone (clotted creme) Too much of the same creme. Great portions but not enough variety.

Only played 17 holes due to green keepers folowing on every hole. They went up front on 15 and stayed on it watering green, never even moved when we aproached. Are they stupid. Wouldnt have minded but there was maybe 6 other players on course and green keepers still pestered us and spoilt our round. No wonder place up for sale. Wont be going again.

A good hotel. Great car parking. Food not the best but okay. No complaints. I have stayed here several times and the fire alarm has gone off twice. At least I know they take fire safety seriously. But yes a sound hotel which had recently been decorated on my last visit.

I performed a gig here and stayed the night — the room was lovely, the staff were very friendly, and the food was good. The room we performed in was of a great standard — The drinks prices are slightly high in my opinion at the bar, and there was a small fault with my toilet flusher. Overall i'd recommend this hotel though. Nice setting, nice rooms and great staff.

We’ve been to better Mercure Hotels, room and facilities were adequate, small double bed didn’t go down well with hubby who’s 6’4”, bathroom dated with cheap acrylic bath that could have given way at any moment, slippery too though we could have gone & requested a rubber mat from reception just didn’t fancy walking the half a mile trek to get back there! breakfast buffet good & staff seemed friendly.

Very nice course good layout quite tricky greens but enjoyed the day.

Nice place, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Has a gym and a spa. Found dinner quite pricey but the food was good and the coffee in the morning was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, would recommend!

Nice hotel, lovely surroundings. The staff are really kind and helpful. Rooms are ok with tired bathrooms and low water pressure in the shower. Often have to wait for service to appear at the bar — not enough staff? However when you do get someone to serve you they are unfailingly helpful.

Took the family to the carvery last Sunday… it was amazing… the meat was cooked to perfection and the best Yorkshire puddings Iv ever had! My two children are so much so they must of enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited today for a funeral reception. Lovely size practical room. Buffet was good. Coffee in jug flasks soon went cold. Could have done to have been replenished with some fresh hot coffee after about half an hour. Toilets need revamping.

Good golf facilities, good food. Tennis camping fishing well worth a visit.

Just had carvery there today best carvery we ever had cooked to perfection meat tender roast potatoes and mash gorgeous and veg lovely topped with thick gravy not to mention beautiful stuffing will defo b going back well recommended.

Brill hotel. Great ambience. The place is very clean and presentable. Staff are polite friendly and you can have a banter. Food is well presented but portions are small.

Absolutely fantastic! The staff are second to none, so friendly and helpful and made our stay so special. The rooms were lovely and very clean. The spa/leisure suite was great too, Tracy has made it absolutely beautiful with brand new equipment in the gym too. Would only ever stay here if in Hull, cannot fault it, only wish we had been able to try the restaurant too as the menu looked fab. Definitely will be back. Thank you so much!

Booked this hotel purely because it was a Spa hotel and upon arrival we discovered all the spa facilities were out of order except the steam room. This the hotel knew about days before we arrived and never notified us! We cancelled our 2nd night and to be fair the management did try and find us another Mercure Spa hotel, but nothing close by. We were offered a complementary evening meal and the food was amazing. This made up for the disappointment and we left after breakfast the next day. The room was clean and stylish and overall not a bad stay.

A hotel located in the English, ancient countryside. And exceptional for resting.

Stayed here at one of the lodges. Was great value and a very nice location with very comfortable beds and good facilities.

Lovely building and the receptionist was very friendly. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna are great too. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. However the walls were too thin, I could hear the TV in the next room, people flicking switches etc. And the TV in my room didn't work properly. I didn't have food so can't comment on the restaurant. All in all, I would return.

The service here is great and the reception area feels upmarket. Nothing was too much trouble. The manager allowed us to change rooms de to a damp bathroom straight away and the new room was great. Breakfast was excellent. Good location to get out and about. The only thing that prevents me giving five stars is that the hotel advertised a country setting but it is right next to a commercial centre and busy roads.

Myself and my husband went for a 3 day Xmas break, we found the place grotty poor decor, poor service. The welcome bottle of prosecco was forgotten and only after complaining twice did we get it 7hrs later with the evening meal. Food was bland regurgitated pap, no fresh ingredients used at all. Tasted awful we walked out in the middle of the so called boxing day entertainment night it was so bad, checked out a day early. The pool had broken tiles at the bottom, no steam room as they had a fault on the heating system. Staff on reception were indifferent and scarce. Room was very poor. The bathroom was dirty and old. Thanks for the Christmas from hell Mercure we will never forget you and we would never recommend you How you got a 4*I don't know avoid at all costs.

Not good! Stay away! First room we were given had hair all over the bed. Second room we were given had blood splattered all down the wall in the bathroom (photos to prove it). Third room, smelt like someone had recently had a bowel movement… cancelled our second evening after our key card stopped working randomly. On top of that the pool had jagged tiles at the bottom dangerous for young children and the changing rooms were rather grotty. Have slept in much nicer bed sits.

Great place… the cabins are amazing… hot tubs where perfect and checked daily for chlorine levels and cleanliness… staff where very helpfull. Great place. Good for a get away. We took 8 people and celebrated a 30th birthday party… there was a family nect to us and the didnt ever hear us … cannot wait to go back.

Have just got home from a "Christmas Lunch" I appreciate at this time of year they are not able to cater for the carvery but to say the lunch was disappointing is an understatement the turkey was mass produced, the roast potatoes possibly Aunt Bessies the mashed potato was smash the cauliflower cheese was such a large chunk it could have come direct from the field on the plus side the sprouts and carrots were ok, the crackers need to have their contents updated. The bar smelt of sweaty bodies not nice! not our best experience be a long time before we return.

A disappointing. Hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful but some areas are understaffed. Dining menu is nothing short of bizarre — how can you serve up pizza with cheddar instead of mozzarella — but alright if you like burgers. Minimalist wardrobe in bedroom and no chest of drawers for clothes.

It appears to be a well run establishment, plenty of parking, camping, chalets. Large club house. I only visited for a workshop, so can't say much else.

Went to a work xmas do. Was impressed with the hotel and the party. Food was nice and the staff were attentive. The only reason it's not a 5* review is because the food was supposed to come out at 7.45 and it was about 30 mins late. Other than that I would recommend to others and will consider again for next year's party.

I'd probably give the hotel 2.5 stars, but as I can only give "whole" stars, I'll round it up! The hotel is nice, but that is as far as it runs to. In my opinion, the hotel appears to be trying to sell itself higher than it is. The level of finish and standard appears to be a sniffter above the lower end of the market, Holiday Inn / Premier Inn, but the priced in the bar and restaurants are way beyond this… Bordering on ridiculous to be honest. I recent paying £10 for one bottled beer and a pint… IN HULL (Not London, or some sort of Boutique Country Retreat/Hotel). Nor do I appreciate small print on the menu implying a compulsory 10% service charge to the, already inflated, meal prices. I personally had this removed as the restaurant was very rowdy that evening anyway, but I despise this practice anyway. If you feel the service cost 10%, then add it to your prices, and don't try to slyly take it from us in the small print. Add it in, and then we can make a choice as to whether the meal is "good value". The room… We had a suite. Whilst it is excellent size, again it falls down on poor finish, tired fittings and poor choice of materials. Firstly, suspended ceilings in a suite… Really?!? Not only that but cheap and tired suspended ceilings. These continue into the bathroom, where they are wholly inappropriate and are gathering mould. Equally in here, the fittings are old and tired including peach fittings but combined with a white toilet seat.

Beautiful place inside and out. Very polite staff. Always have a smile.

With National Holidays York and Lincoln trip. Very nice hotel. Clean room and good food. But why oh why do National holidays keep on mistiming meal times? 6.30 pm chosen for tonight — far too early! The poor staff here were clearly unprepared to serve dinner this early. I was looking forward to a swim and Jacuzzi before dinner — (part of the reason I chose this trip — totally impossible given time of arrival! ) This is not the first time this has happened! Come on National Holidays pull your socks up!

Three nights here with our dog. Such a friendly hotel. Clean, comfortable room, good food and wonderful lawns. Friendly helpful staff.

Good rooms but the spa closes whenever the cleaners feel like it, went three times and ever time I was told it's closed as no body was using it almost an hour before the closing time. That was disappointing.

Nice hotel located a short drive to Beverly. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the restaurant and bar were pretty decent too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice location, lodges are clean & cosy. Ladies at reception nice but don't bother asking for anymore bath towels! Asked for 2 extra as here for 4 days, cleaner lady came and slammed the towels on the balcony chair & rudely said 'they'll be no more that's it'. Shame of the rude staff otherwise it would be 4 star.

The lodges are warm, cozy and welcoming. The hot tub in the back of the lodge is amazing with powerful mechanisms and warm water and was plenty big It was incredibly clean and well organized, my only complaint is the lack of internet and the location itself, the while the park has tennis and golf the area around just is missing something, we had to travel further out to find anything to do. Overall I was very pleased and enjoyed it thougraly.

Just had our daughter and son in laws wedding there couldn't of wished for a better venue the room was set up just as my daughter had asked nothing was to much trouble. The staff were first class nothing was to much to ask. We stopped for two nights in the lodges they were clean and very spacious. The food that was served on the day was very good. I would highly recommend this venue to anybody who has a special occasion to celebrate. Once again thanks to all involved.

A good park land golf course with water hazards and some testing holes.

Lovely hotel. Quite close to a road but you can barely hear it. Food is lovely. At quiet times you may have to wait till someone spots you at the bar as understandably its not constantly manned off peak. Leisure facilities are clean and to a high standard. There's classes in the pool on a morning so it may be busier than you expect. I was there Saturday and there were kids swimming classes on 11 till 3. Also mind the tiny step going into the steam room. I found all the staff professional and friendly. the room was big and spotless. Bed was huge. Bathroom had an actual bath! no aircon in the room I had. But big window opened enough to let air in. And also had a great view of the large well manicured grounds.

We have just celebrated our wedding here and couldn't fault Grange Park one bit. The room was decorated so perfectly by the lovely Leigh from Ocassions by Leigh, the food was delicious and the setting was beautiful. We was fortunate enough to be able to sit outside on the decking. Would definitely recommend Grange Park as a wedding venue!

As a wedding venue… The place is ready for a lick of paint and a revamp both inside and outside. It only has one bar that the public, golfers and wedding guest have to share which is not what the golfers or the wedding guest want 2 bars are needed. With some forward thinking, planning and money from the owner or owners it could be a great venue in a lovely country location. On a plus side the staff are amazing, friendly and so helpful and food was excellent.

It's a lovely peaceful place where you can just sit round the lake and fish, play tennis, golf or just chill in a hot tub at one of the log cabins. I'd definitely recommend this place, I was there two days but wish I could have stayed longer.

Staff are helpful and it's not expensive for the driving range or the 9 hole course they have.

Had the best weekend for a friends 30th Birthday! Staff were amazing and friendly. None of our group drove and as we were leaving the lodge Tony came to clean our hot tub and he even helped us with our luggage on the back of his trailer to the reception. Top service!

Great friendly place, pretty and well kept, we were there yesterday, fishing, but we're able to use toilet and wash facilities, also bought a few breakfast butties from the restaurant/bar to take out, and the girl behind the bar was very helpful and very friendly — lovely girl. The lady who owns the lake was very nice, came to collect our money and was very friendly — beautiful lake house I have to add! Very impressed and will definitely return soon.

I would go back here but a few things let it down. The room was mostly good but the shower control was difficult to operate. Door to the room (23) was sticky. Usual Mercure bonkersness with the way the bed is made — tucked-in quilt, unnecessary cushions all over it. Looks nice when you walk into the room, but not very comfortable. Biggest problem was breakfast. Black pudding was inedible, beans were dried out and presentation not worthy of a 4 star hotel. Bacon and sausage fab though. Generally staff were fabulous. Hopefully I caught the hotel on an off day.

I was at the hotel for a work event. The grounds are lovely, everything was clean and staff were pleasant and attentive.

Located conveniently just off Hull by pass with easy access from motorway into Hull. Visited, entertaining a client and this is third visit. Must say service has been great every time. Not stayed but if as good service for food, would highly recommend here.

The food was ok and the staff were great. Just make sure when booking a wedding there you get them to double check that the big room they keep showing you is the one they intend to give you… otherwise your big day suddenly soars in the little room.

Just okay — bit dated, rooms overpriced for what they are and considering location. Average meal although friendly and swift service. Dined alone yet was charged a 10% service fee without being asked, bit presumptuous.

Staff are always friendly and the rooms are perfect. You get free Wi-Fi and a nice health club with sauna and a pool. Throw in that ivr never had a bad meal in the restaurant and this place is almost perfect. Only criticism is that the bathrooms are all tired now, they don't match the rest of the room. But its a small point really.

We have just returned from a mini break in the Hull Grange Park Hotel. Although we had a disappointing first evening, I mentioned my concerns to the manager on shift and by the next morning they had bent over backwards to make it up to us and we were offered another meal in the restaurant the following evening. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The pool and leisure facilities were lovely and the room was very nice. I have recommended this hotel to my family who have booked for a weekend at the end of November. We would certainly come back :-)

The hotel is in a nice location, and there is plenty of parking however some of the rooms are fairly basic 70's look and are in need of some TLC and could do to be updated. Toilet struggles to flush properly, and bathroom is dated. The food is good, especially breakfast however there was insufficient staff on at the bar. Knowing there was several weddings taking place plus the usual business of people staying at the hotel there was at times 1 bar staff on at any one time. It was only when several complaints were made that more staff where drafted in. Not good enough when they knew in advanced how many wedding parties where there that day. The food for the wedding was good, but the service was slow and water not topped up at all through out the meal. Overall it was good but the service let it down unfortunately. The drinks were over priced too. Staff were very nice though and were pleasant to deal with.

I would have stayed with you since it is the place I had my wedding reception and 25th wedding anniversary. However the receptionist who answered the telephone was so rude, I am happy to give my business to Willerby Manor who were delightful on booking the reservation.

70s decor, toilet flush only worked intermittently, TV apparently from a pre-digital age without all Freeview channels, and the chair in our room had a nail sticking up through it. The staff were nice, but in general Avoid.

— Shower water valve blocked — slow Wi-Fi — Had not get a receipt while checkout, the Lady on the desk said somthing like "blocked printer, will send you receipe soon by Mail", but I haven't received anything yet! Called Mercure for asking the receipe, but the Lady on the desk had hang up the phone?! What's that.

Lacking facilities. No air conditioning, slow Wi-Fi, limited TV channels, just two plug sockets in the whole room (one used for the TV). On the plus side, nice breakfast.

Had a wedding their in august 2013 had a fantastic day and night their would tell anybody of the great experence we had staff could not do enough and food was great drinks little over priced but the day was that good it was worth it.
