Rooms nice and clean. Breakfast was chaotic! Not enough room and there seemed to be a lot more people at breakfast than were staying in the hotel!

Great value, comfy rooms and buffet breakfast with veggie sausages (let them know you're veggie in advance. Nice roof top terrace and plenty of parking.

Came here for a company meeting. Free drinks were available to us from the coffee machine — tea, coffee, hit chocolate — what more could you want? Meeting room was clean though we could not quite get the air con to behave properly. Was either roasting or baltic.

I used this venue to run a small workshop/seminar. The room had all of the facilities needed. The staff were friendly, the food was average. It shares it's carpark with the local shopping centre so it's easy to find. Reception is on the 1st floor but there is a good lift system.

Staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel rooms are in need of a revamp, they lack any warmth unlike the Lincoln HIE. Bar needs attention just because of the lack of choice on wines and spirits. It’s a good place to stay if you’re exploring Hull and want to be near all the shops and the train station.

Worst night's sleep ever on bed the size of a postage stamp and apparently lined with bricks — or that's how it feels. Reception staff were cold, unfriendly and indifferent. Asked for extra covers (so husband could basically sleep on the floor) and were refused. Would highly recommend Premier Inn.

I stayed at this hotel when I was visiting the University and did not have a good nights sleep at all. The fire alarm went off at 2am and we had to walk down 7 flights of stairs where we waited in the lobby for 5 minutes only to go back. The staff were very unorganised at the fire alarm and didn't really know what to do. I hope this has improved. However, this is my only complaint about the hotel. There were lots of breakfast options and the rooms were clean. If you have a room on a higher floor you get quite a view. The location is also quite good, being right next to the train and bus station, and a huge shopping centre.

With sizable family rooms and friendly accommodating staff my family have had a very comfortable, affordable stay here. Central to the city of Hull the hotel allows for easy access to activities for the little ones and a wide selection of eateries even on the wettest of days.

Good hotel, clean, Central, train station and buses a few minutes walk, if you include breakfast you will be very happy.

The hotel is situated very central in hull. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean, the only downside was the breakfast, we to find table to sit at. It was very busy, staff were scurrying around to keep up. The breakfast is limited in the hot goods. The set up is confusing, it doesn't flow with how you try and find drinks, and cutlery etc, no trays so your juggling things back to a table. However they at least had pg tips tea bags.

Good hotel close to the station & city centre. Good access to a new mall that has cinema and good options on eating. Road side of the hotel can be noisy though. Like the balcony for summers drink.

The in-room Wi-Fi wasn't working for my two night business related stay or I would have given it four stars. Room was very clean and had a nice shower area with separate WC. Very central to the city so all the restaurants, cafes and bars are very close. Next to the transport hub, the bus and train stations just a 3 min walk. Parking is good and main shopping centre is next door.

This is a nice clean modern hotel if you like continental breakfast it's really good value. Staff are cheerful and polite. However I agree with Kate about the parking there are no directions on the website it would be nice to know access is easy from the car park if you drive to the end of the first level. We found it but only after you exit and enter from ferensway.

Rooms are OK but it's the location that lets this hotel down. There is an adjoining car park, quite tricky to find, then tricky to find the entrance to the hotel. OK once you know but clearer instructions on the website would help. Breakfast is pretty poor. Toast machine and cereal. Hot option was sausages (which were cheap and awful), beans and wishy washy scrambled eggs. That's it. Poor coffee and juices. Very disappointed for a Holiday Inn. On top of that, I got stuck in a disabled room, no mention when I booked in. Sorry, but won't be coming back here.

Parking is not the best but you will get a space. Could hear the TV from the room next door early in the morning which wasn't ideal. Nice hotel. Rooms are as expected. Breakfast is OK. Happy with my stay.

Inexpensive hotel well located in the heart of the city centre. Rooms beginning to look a bit dated, and I've had one issue with cleanliness. Overall a decent place to crash in Hull.

Good car parking, very close to shops, restaurants and the train station. Breakfast was reasonable. Room clean and tidy.

To be fair I'm booked in for Saturday 30/4/16 So I'll update my rating after the stay so I'm going to give it a 3 for now, but I'll give it a real review, after my stay "no bullshit" real review! EDIT! well spent the night here me, my partner and son and my rating has gone up 2 stars to 5 now, it was a lovely room very tidy the staff was friendly, Wi-Fi reception was great LG TV in your room, the shower was nice you get all you can eat breakfast in the morning 7:30/10:30 all in all I would recommend this to a friend's and family "kudos"

Breakfast very basic, sausage overcooked. No housekeeping staff after 2, we hv to collect ironing board from counter. Water boiler not clean.

When I arrived, everything was very relaxed and friendly. Great price, nice staff, couldn't ask for much more.

Got a twin room with no bath and the room was cold. No doubles available. Am a loyalty member which counted for nothing. Check in staff were nice and my room was at least quiet. Wi-Fi was free and worked. Close to the station. £69 wasn't great value.

I have been a total of 2 weeks. Clean modern rooms
There is a proper shower rather than a bath/shower. The bathroom is clean and beautiful
The bed is a little short for me that I'm tall 1, 90. The room includes LCD of LG, a desk, Chair and 2 seater sofa. The window is a transom.
Air conditioning (DAIKIN) in the room a bit noisy, but easily programmable
Very expensive, but fast laundry
Recommended.

Hired the John Prescott room and no soundproofing between the other suite. Also noisy group in next door so was difficult for my delegates. Something to think about if you are hiring this facility.
